Hello All, This will serve as a formal forum announcement that we have released the version 1.3.1 update for the CL650. All customers who have purchased the CL650 up till now have been sent an e-mail by X-Aviation with complete instructions on how to obtain your update. We have made this a very simple process! For those that purchase the CL650 from today forward, your purchased download will already be updated to version 1.3.1 for you. IMPORTANT!: This build might not recover avionics & engine settings for saved states, so it should not be used to reload an in-flight state that was created by prior versions. On-ground states should be safe to load. You will need to re-create any in-flight states you previously had. REMINDER! Some customers have experienced performance issues where FPS in sim got very low or unflyable. If this has happened to you, please read the following on how to handle the situation: What if I didn't get the update e-mail? If you did not receive your update e-mail don't fret! X-Aviation has updated our system to allow all customers to update with ease, regardless of whether you received an e-mail for the update! Here's what to do: 1. Login to your X-Aviation account here: https://www.x-aviation.com/catalog/account_history.php 2. Find your original Challenger 650 download and re-download the file. It will download as the latest version! This repaint is based off of a private Challenger 350 (N316K) and made for the Hot Start Challenger 650. The livery was created with the assistance of a credible source and numerous close-up photographs of the real aircraft. Installation: Extract the "Blue & Gray (N316K)" folder inside the zip file to …\X-Plane 11\Aircraft\X-Aviation\CL650\liveries The tail number configuration comes with the livery, and you are free to personalize it to your liking within the airframe manager. If you like the livery, feel free to leave feedback and if you spot any errors, please do point them out! Enjoy!1 point -

Is there a way to lower the volume of the First Officer as he goes through the checklist, without using the Windows 10 volume control? If I set the Officer's volume to a pleasant level, other sounds like footsteps and door openings are too low. Also, can Windows 10 third-party voices be substituted for the First Officer?1 point

Also, to add to what @Pilsmentioned - it's the temperature at load time that matters. If you have some weather injector that's putting a temperature in or updating after loading, that could be an issue. If you are having this sort of issue, please get into the habit of checking the temperature on the XP weather screen before loading into the Challenger 650.1 point

This is just rounding noise from the aux system. During refueling, the forward and aft aux tanks get filled first due to refueling ejectors picking up fuel from the center aux. Then when you remove refueling pressure, the fuel sloshes back to the center aux under gravity. This can manifest as summing noise on the total fuel value in here. Basically, don't worry about it.1 point

There is a slider for flaps warning in X-RAAS in the right below corner, I think you have to move it far right... and save the stuff. Just remembering... Steff1 point

Yuck. If it were me I would say this was a hack not worth the effort for a corner case. But I’ll pass on your suggestion and let the developer decide for themselves.1 point

It only matters if you cause X-Plane to reload after loading a flight. So you don’t “need to” it’s just “recommended”.1 point

Hmm, couldn't changing it in the airframe manager programmatically change it in the sim too? Why the limitation? Regards, Tim1 point

No. There are no voice samples because there’s no more digital checklist because there’s no more power. Switch to “paper” documents provided with addon.1 point

XPUIPC can be a nasty plugin. It hasn't been updated for quite some time and the developer doesn't respond to emails. I guess he doesn't care about it anymore. It's a real shame, because quite a few addon's and virtual airlines still rely on it. I started developing a replacement for it a while ago and had a prototype working, but this whole FSUIPC interface is so weird that I couldn't be bothered anymore. Life is too short... Version 2.0.3.5 seems to work fine with the IXEG.1 point

It has been, and continues to be, considered. As you can tell, the developers don’t do something unless it can be done right. So that’s where we are.1 point

The Challenger 650 does not have FADEC, but there are engine controls and mechanical systems in place that affect how your lever position controls the engine. The most common issue seen reported with the simulation is the engines are not making "full power", or rather not achieving the rating on the N1 EICAS display. The reason for this is the engine has an N2 limit which varies based on total air temperature, which depends on aircraft speed and temperature. The TAT is shown on the PFD left side datablock, Don't climb at too low an indicated airspeed or mach, and keep an eye on the TAT. This chart shows what's going on, and will also included in the Operations Reference Document when possible. Keep i mind the chart shows Corrected N2, but gives you an idea of what is actually going on.1 point
