SMP 4 is just awesome! Usually I tend to being hypercritical with addons, but this one's just absolutely extraordinary - I simply love the new cumulus towering impressively and slightly menacingly above the scenery, and the performance is about the same as SMP 3. John, Frank, great job done, thank you very much!

No, we don't have FSrealWX here. Pretty sure people are using it with RWC. In general, if it writes its own METAR.rwx files to X-Plane (like FSGRW,) use "automatic" mode. Otherwise you're probably best off with "always". Not sure if FSrealWX writes its own METAR.rwx but I think I've heard that it does. Hopefully others can chime in here.

There is obviously something wrong on your end either with the install or the pilot. The aircraft is flown thousands of hours every day with few problems. When/if you have something more constructive to say and more specific info about your exact problems, start a new topic in the support area and we will be happy to try to help you. This is the second time you have started a topic like this, ranting without any useful information what so ever! Read the documentation on what what info we need to help you. Do one of the tutorial flights and tell us EXACTLY where your problem starts. This is your last chance... M

On the eve of V4 I want to take the time to thank the community for your continued support of our products. Speaking for myself, I started down this path years ago with my first release "UrbanMAXX"..... Since then I partnered up with SunDog and X-Aviation and our offerings grew to give you the very best experiences in X-Plane.... I started in the world of flight sim with FS9 and then X-Plane 9 with no intent of becoming a developer.... Once I got ahold of X-Plane 10 I fully realized the potential for this platform and was put off by the lack of development.... UrbanMAXX was born out of the idea that X-Plane could be better and why the hell not ,I'm going to be a positive influence and do my best to help.... Those days are long gone and X-Plane 11 is currently driving towards the front of the pack at a rapid pace....I like to think we had a big hand in pushing them over that divide and I am still really excited about being a part of this awesome franchise..... KSFO-KLAS with Skymaxx Pro v4

After re-installing SMP and RW, then re-introducing plugins one by one, inc x-camera, all is working well. Did some plane swapping, cloud draw changing, texture changing etc, and no problems. SMP looks awesome..again Let's hope this stays this time!

Hello,I just want to say thank you to x-aviation and sundog software for this great product. I'm actually getting better performance than in skymax 3. In skymax 4, I was able to increase cloud draw. Here are some pics to show my settings. Computer specs are: I7 4770@ overclocked to 4.4, GTX780 running 3 monitors w/nvidia surround 32G ram@1866 CL9 X-Plane 10. I haven't tried X-Plane 11 yet. Updated to RWC 1.1 & installed the latest Nvidia driver. SMP4 looks phenomenal now Thank you guys!

Hi Frank, Sorry, I won't have access to my PC for next couple of weeks so I can't extract the logs and won't be able to contribute much. A solution would probably be found by the time I get back to my PC I just wanted to reply here just to add to statistics on the number of users affected by the same issue. Thanks.

ok, reinstalled both SMP and Wconnector and have all other plugins out..changed planes, settings and all is working. After lunch, I'm gonna start replacing plugins to see if it is stable this time. But try re-installing folks

This is indeed a bug in the X-Plane 11 beta. We filed a bug report during development. I've found that if you re-size the X-Plane window, it clears it up. I haven't actually noticed this happening myself while using X-Plane 11 pb2, so if you haven't updated to pb2 yet you should.

Skymaxx Pro still is one of the best addons I have for X-Plane, it makes such a difference compared to default clouds and it even gives better FPS. I've just picked up v4 and look forward to trying it this evening. So thanks to both John and Sundog for making this possible. Now.... I hope you guys find a way of getting Triton water into X-Plane, and I'm still waiting patiently for MaxxSeasons ;-)

I'm so excited guys I was waiting for SMP4 with the same excitement level as I was waiting for XP11. I'm an SMP3 user (I own all your products) I want to buy SMP4 but I didn't get any discount code in my email yet. Is it going to be sent on time for the release? or will we have to wait?

I haven't been around for a while, and my aircraft link expired in July will I still be able to get the update Cameron. Thanks friend and may I wish you a Happy Christmas. Hueyman, As a laymans guess maybe because not all have xp11 as of yet Makes sense to show it on xp10 non beta latest platform that way (i'd assume anyways) ....................................................... I'll be doing an alnighter hoping to snag v4 5am ish my time Waiting's a pain init lol Tony ps : Nero, i have the complete opposite happen, i have a decent rig specially upgraded for xp10, i now find my fps better with more eye-candy in 11 compared to 10 !! go figure pps : If using Nvidia Gpu, strip the darn driver down to just that, the driver, !!!!!!! google it's easy Tony

I see this behavior frequently when I fly with SMP3 and RWC. I'll lookout for the support thread and comment in there.

Try downloading the free version of Stuffit Expander in the Mac App Store and then use that app to unzip the file you download from us. It seems that the unzip utility that Sierra ships with sets bad permissions on the files it unzips at times, causing the error you are seeing.

This company likes to take money from its customers...instead of offering free updates, every 7-8 months they create a new PAID version. If you want the new, you had to pay (50%OFF limited offer is the smart trick to take the unsuspecting customer). I bought SkymaxxV2 1.5 year later ($40), then V3 (+$20) then Real Weather Connector(+$20, wich software should be INCLUDED in the Skymaxx). Now, they want more money??? What a mercenaries! Im considering to get a different cloud software by now....

Cameron, have you ever seen how real clouds look like? Or how real respect to your customers work? Last breath before Xenviro, all it is.

Hello, The IXEG is so buggy in xplane 10 and 11 i cant even use the aircraft. the autopilot system just doesnt work. it doesnt slow my plane down it doesnt follow flight path etc.. autothrottle doesnt work etc.. was there a update? How do i update to the latest version because i have 1.0.7 and its completely buggy. The default 737 in xplane 11 has less bugs.
