  3. Probably mirrored cowling doors for simplicity of manufacture and parts supply. If the door is outboard it's rivets, if it's inboard it gets the VG mounted.

  7. maybe when you have time try a lower visibility- (5NM) From the image you showed I think it would have been fine on my system because it looked like almost cavok with some high cumulus. I think I mainly see the effect of the line sweep of white cloud coming into cockpit with lower visibility.

  9. Make some flights with real weather ( Active sky or Fsgrw) on Cloudy conditions, new lighting looks ultra nice + one step further from previous releases.

  11. I didn´t move your post...so no idea ;-) The sunblind things could be "wrenched" into the openings (brute force, no elaborate holding mechanism). The little latches would hang out, so you had a chance to get them out again if needed. No one ever pulled them out, though - except this one Captain who claimed that you had to absolutely pull them out at night in case a plane would approach right from above - and then you would see it that fraction of a second earlier to avoid the crash... Cheers, Jan

  12. @bmw-rabbit There seem to be no clear release dates but according to this guy the project is still on its feet.

  13. Will add that as a feature request...maybe we can also change the clickspots, the real ones have little tags to pull them out with...

  14. Also want to add that supporting Vulkan during the beta was a very smart move on your part and is much appreciated. While a beta, this quality of life update has been anticipated by many for literally years so I think it deserves an exception from developers to get their products working with it as soon as possible. Developers waiting for it to be stable are only hurting themselves in the long run.

  15. Give it a try, as Sundog said the lighting model is more complex. One screenshot under specific conditions doesn’t tell the whole story. Sundog made these changes and I tested under many conditions and I was blown away in regards to the added depth.

  16. We intentionally made the cloud lighting more complex. The sides of the clouds facing the sun should still be white, but large clouds do get darker as light passes through them. It may take some getting used to if you're used to our previous look where the clouds were just entirely white everywhere, but that wasn't realistic.

  17. We had a request to resize the 'mini EHSI', and also be able to toggle it on and off. That is now in for the next update.

  18. Doing some testing and shakedown flights to make sure all new features and fixes work as planned. So far things are going really good. ...at least for the passengers on MY aircraft .

  19. Windmilling Fans added. This example shows direct headwind and tailwind for simplicity. The magnitude is obviously diminished off-axis with practical limits..and the rotation speed is asymptotic, so 100 kt winds doesn't create unrealistic rotation animations. Tail winds are less effective on fan rotation than headwinds, due to wind turbulence through the vanes that saps energy. Also, alignment with the wind vector has to be closer for tailwinds than headwinds to yield fan rotation. -tkyler

  20. @2Fat2Fly Sorry for the delay in delivering this feature. Navigraph charts support is absolutely in our TODO for the MFD. The AviTab solution was just an interim "quick fix" until I have time to sit down and crunch through the complexities of the Navigraph integration API. However, rest assured, we will be adding it.
