  4. Hardware requirements have not been set, but we are trying to make it as light weight as we can, while not sacrificing quality. A significant majority of our systems code is all multithreaded to help those who are CPU limited.

  5. The throttles don’t appear to work with the latest versions of XUIPC. Try downloading and installing an earlier one.

  6. Hi only issue I have seeing on latest ver, but im not so sure its SMP was when I turned on Gods Rays, I could see the sun though the Cockpit , had to tone it down to like 35 but it looks nice,, no FPS hit looked really good. Was flying the airfoil 110. Think its the first time ive used it ever.

  7. Laminar is being extremely good about communicating with add-on developers when they do something like that, so even if they do change something we should be on top of it!

  9. we are actively working on the compatibility update. Jan is testing the flight model and I'm hunting / fixing any of the 3D oddities found from the recent conversion to new 3D tools. Its job #1 at the moment, especially with 11.50 final getting closer. -tkyler

  10. This error just means you already have vcredist installed. Everything installed fine. Real Weather Connector is controlled through the SkyMaxx Pro plugins menu.

  11. The airways in the flight plan are built using the default G1000 code. ie. Always been there. V speeds require far more calculation on Saso's part, due to having to take into account several factors and implementing a boat load of more math. Making it compatible with Vulkan/Metal is taking priority at this time. As for your other comments. Taking the yaw away? We had people screaming for it to be reduced, as it was deemed too unrealistic and exaggerated. We consulted a TBM pilot and engineer and we received feedback, which was implemented. Some people don't like it, and some people do. What can I say...we can't make everyone happy. Absolutely no texture resolution was sacrificed in exchange for improving framerates. Framerate improvement came from further code optimisation. I don't think I've seen anyone ask for WORSE framerates and higher texture resolution. The whole point of a TBM 900 is to actually make it less difficult to fly than, say, a TBM 850, by way of more automation and less clutter on the panel. It's supposed to be easier.

  12. TorqueSim and X-Aviation are proud to announce the BN-2 Islander! Initially started independently of TorqueSim, the inclusion of this beautiful bird into the new TS development pipeline has allowed for rapid progress and the seamless integration of custom systems, as well as boosting the quality of the 3D models and textures significantly! This aircraft will feature a high quality model, PBR textures throughout, a full custom electrical system with working circuit breakers, support for the AFM G5 avionics on launch, and of course the fantastic roar of its O-540s will be rendered in beautiful FMOD! All that, and more to come as we plan to update and improve our product throughout its lifetime! To stay up to date with what’s going on keep a close eye on the forum here! Stay tuned for more dev updates, screenshots, and insights, and of course for the big moment when the plane is available to fly on X-Aviation!

  13. Hi Sam, It's very doubtful this will be migrated over. There have been evaluations of the SDK for MSFS 2020 and some internal alpha testing amongst some developers, and we're not all convinced at this time. We're definitely excited to continue supporting X-Plane well into the future though!
