Hello Captains! A LUA-script for v-speed callouts for the HotStart Challenger 650 v1.2 or higher. It includes callouts for 80 knots, V1, Vr, V2 (V2 is optional) and positiv rate / gear up. Feel free to leave a comment if you liked the script (or not) Requirement: The script requires FlyWithLua: Download the correct version for your simulator. FlyWithLua for X-Plane 11: - https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/files/file/38445-flywithlua-ng-next-generation-edition-for-x-plane-11-win-lin-mac/ FlyWithLua for X-Plane 12: - https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/files/file/82888-flywithlua-ng-next-generation-plus-edition-for-x-plane-12-win-lin-mac/ Installation: - Unzip the files in [X-Plane]\Resources\plugins\FlyWithLua\Scripts You should get a structure something like this. Settings: Edit the Wizball_CL650_vSpeed.lua for the settings. -- Set to true to enable "V2" callout and false to disable. true and false have to be written with lowercase letters. local Enable_V2 = false -- Set to true to enable "Positive rate/Gear up" callout and false to disable. true and false have to be written with lowercase letters. local EnablePosGearUp = true -- Set to 1 for callout by totoritko(HotStart). Set 2 for callout by xplana. local CalloutVoice = 1 -- Change "SoundLevel" to adjust volume for the callouts. Adjust between 0.10 min - 1.00 max. -- Recommended value for CalloutVoice 1 - 0.70 - For CalloutVoice 2 - 0.30 local SoundLevel = 0.70 How to use: Just make sure you set the vSpeeds in the FMS and you will get the callouts. 7. @skiselkov @Goran_M Hi, I am writing a smartco file for the Challenger. There is few showstoppers. If there is any interest, and if your time permit: There is no writable datarefs to synchronize the different knobs of the AP: Baro, speed, heading, course, altitude. Custom override are missing for: CL650/pedals/0/brake/L_value CL650/pedals/0/brake/R_value CL650/pedals/1/brake/L_value CL650/pedals/1/brake/R_value CL650/sidepanel/left/tiller_value Less important: Ground services: request / release with custom commands (AC / DC, ASU, Fuel, Deice). Minor: A command to activate the tablet in the galley, CL650/snd/cabin_pa/volume is not writable, commands for the announcements.

  8. Ice doesn't melt instantly. Try using the de-ice truck instead.

  11. At this point it's probably turned to ice, walking too close to it may cause it to shatter

  12. Looks like your wing is just completely covered in ice.

  13. What seems to make sense for me is removing it after the hydraulic 3A is turned on but before nose door is closed (to satisfy their respective checklist entires). Then put back in after shutdown checklist, but before securing checklist, as this is when the pax are leaving so the door is open, for doing a quick post-flight walk around.

  16. In the Challenger v1.4 we're introducing a new capability for the THRUST LIMIT page - selecting either derated (FLEX) or maximum (MTO) takeoff modes. Please see the attached PDF for a description how to set these up. CL650_FLEX_MTO.pdf

I tried to create a livery of the Swiss Air-Rescue REGA jet HB-JWA as good as possible. It's not 100% accurate. But i hope you enjoy it and wish you smooth flights.

  22. VNAV button remains lit when valid. All vertical modes become VNAV modes with exception of VPATH which auto-arms at ToD. FLC = VFLC (follows VNAV profile in either climb or descent) ALTS = VALTV (respects crossing restrictions regardless of set altitude) VPATH = auto-armed at ToD and will commence descent if altitude selector is lower that present altitude (double chord sound at path intercept) Ensure the option (PERF x 2) is set for "ENABLE ADVISORY VNAV". It will draw the vertical diamond on the PFD when the vertical path is near. Also ensure to "RESUME VNAV SPEED" (PERF x 2) to get it to follow the VNAV speed schedule, otherwise the selected speed takes precedence.

  23. VALT will transfer to VPATH when you hit the ToD. If you want to descend now, FLC or VS. Remember VNav is a modifier, not a discrete mode. When you intercept the target path, in any vnav modified mode (VALT, VFLC, VVS, VPTCH) you’ll go to VPATH and follow the programmed descent.
