Hi all, I am facing at the moment the problem that I get the following error message while trying to install the latest build 1.4.1.. Does anybody facing the same issue and could give me a hint what went wrong here? :_) Thank you very much! BR, Pasal

As reported in a post that's seen nearly 800 views and has now been locked, we await a fix. It would appear that the majority of the C650s that have been purchased and had this update attempted are now unflyable.

The Challenger has very good takeoff performance, so everything happens quickly. For the first few flights a heavier weight can help keep things in check. One of the key differences between A320/737 aircraft and the Challenger is there is no speed reference system on the Challenger. Instead the flight directors will give a fixed pitch target when pressing the TOGA buttons. Following the guidance from our subject matter experts, and adapting it for use in the simulation, we've got two easy ways to manage the initial climb, which can be remember as Pitch/Sync and FLC. Try both and see what works for you. Pitch / Sync: Takeoff and follow the initial flight director pitch target. Accelerate in the initial climb maintaining that pitch, retract the flaps at VFTO+5 then at a safe altitude hold the “Sync” button and lower the nose to about 10 degrees to start accelerating. If using autothrust it can be set to maintain a suitable speed, but your primary control is pitch, which can be adjusted easily by holding sync and flying the aircraft to the new pitch attitude. FLC: Takeoff and aim for the initial pitch target before selecting FLC mode to capture a speed of roughly V2 +20. At most weights this will result in a very steep climbout. At a safe altitude, increase the speed to lower the nose then retract the flaps at VFTO+5 A hybrid approach may be useful - remember unlike an airliner the Challenger has seats facing sideways - so while a space rocket climb profile can be fun, it’s unlikely to get repeat business for your VIP transport business.

Can you double check the volume sliders in X-Plane settings, please? There’s a simulator bug that can reset them to zero. Also, check your Windows default audio device; it has a habit of being reset after Windows software updates.

Thank you very much! It has been so long since I manually generated a FP in SB that I forgot you "Generate" a flight plan as opposed to "saving" one. Thanks again!

The update failed, and the old version can't be used....

Lots of us have reported this, I believe they are looking into it so I am sure there will be an update / fix soon.

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but any chance we could have the ability to customize the color of the lights in the cabin? I have no idea what it would take to implement, and this might be a big ask, but I think it would be awesome to give some colors to the pax in the back

Hey @InitiatedAunt74, Was it the Piaggio specifically you're trying to get to work? It's true that public access has been removed. I'm not aware of wide scale freeware adoption outside of the Piaggio, but if you need help obtaining it you can message me. That said, if it's use on Linux you're after, you're right, there's no Linux plugin available regardless of what I can provide.

Figured out a workaround, so I'll link it here, in case somebody else with the same problem stumbles across this issue I was having.

Just did a quick count and you have 10 copies of SASL loaded through various add on packages and scenery extras. This isn't your fault. You just want your content. I'm just pointing out an absurdity in the X-Plane eco system.

And this after paying 106 euros !!!!
