  1. As a "sales guy" I'm certain you have had days where "that customer" comes in. Pissed off and angry right from the word go for no real reason except that they want to complain. You sir, are that person for me today. As a "sales guy" the only reason you put up with that customers bullshit is because your boss will fire you if you tell them they're being an asshole. One of the few benefits of working for myself is that I no longer have to put up with bullshit from assholes like you. I can call it as it is.

  2. Yes, this is the problem with joystick sending noise and the aircraft think the pilot wants to override a/p. Note on the PFD screen it entered CWS mode illuminated yellow

  3. There is a CWS nullzone slider on the ixeg preferences left screen menu, move it full to the right just to be sure. This will prevent the a/p from disengaging as well as several modes refusing to engage if you joystick potentiometers are sending noise. The aircraft systems "think" the pilot is moving the controls manually on purpose to override the systems. If you still have issues i would recommend you attach some screen captures or a video for us to see what is going on.

  4. One possibility I have is that your null zone setting is too low. If the plane senses any movement in the yoke, the autopilot disengages. Check your null zone and possibly increase it a little it.

  7. Guys, relax. You'll get plenty of evidence and videos prior to release to make your buying decisions. It's not your turn to turn up the criticism meter just yet.

  8. We don't know his settings so the FPS number is meaningless.

  9. This "proof" is not convincing. 70 fps with antialiasing Off and Default F22 not seem "exceptional" value. It is the norm. What will happen with AA 2x or 4x and complex payware aircraft? 70 fps again?

  10. I really like SkyMaxx and I use it on every flight and will upgrade to v4 considering a nice discount you guys are offering. The performance is very good if you keep the cloud distance at about 10000, but if you go higher you will start feeling the fps drops in a really bad weather situations. I'm not going to ask about the fps performance gain since others were already curious about this, but I do wonder about stutters. Even with RWC there are still quite heavy clouds redrawing going on just not as noticeable as without it and whenever RWC redraws stuff the CPU usage rises, for me to about 0.50 to .60, which lower's the performance and causes stutters until it's done. Sometimes it last's for a good few seconds and is especially noticeable if you have higher clouds draw distance set since redrawing are happening more often. Was/ Can anything be done about this? I can provide a video if it's unclear on what I'm talking about. Regards.

  11. I like these screenshots, they look like working in the right direction of improving variability which for me is the key of a real weather where you have many cloud formations at the same time developing above and below what you actually read in a metar. Looking forward to SMP4 hoping that the double distance cloud draw can still be flyable on my system.

  12. Matt. If I had a dollar for every complaining post you make about these products I'd buy you a copy of SMP 4 for you to try, You're clearly unsatisfied even at the budget breaking cost of $20 / year or 5.47 cents / day. I respectfully suggest you just find another product. br.

  13. XP11 is basically just XP10 with a new gui, added features like Ambient Occlusion and a redesigned aircraft park. So in version 1.0 you would not see that much difference. Same ground texture, same tree texture same mesh and same fun No need to worry, the future is bright and it will get brighter

  15. Good day, I have something to experiment. In the .zip is a beta release of the plugin (2.06, for windows only), and a smartcopilot.cfg without weather. Please, test the custom failures. About hydraulic failures, remember: the gear door is not synchronized. Open the door on both side before the test If it works as expected, we should have a lot of fun. Experimental.zip

  17. I went crazy, clouds were just too awesome so I had to snap a few picture. Also Skymaxx Pro 3.2 and RWC are just flat OUT F'ing AWESOME!!!! .And I could have done more. Being at the right place, at the right time. All pictures are shot organically. Not pre setup, just raw as it was happening while flying from KWJF home base to KTUS . Just WOW is all I can say.
