  3. Yes, in this case you have to set your CG on the FMS to 10.6%. I dont think its really have anything to say what you put in the CG on the FMS . Its just a tool for calculating your TRIM setting for the takeoff, that you allready got from the ground service menu (4.6 units). The most important part is to actual set the correct TRIM for your aircraft. But I always do update the FMS with the CG.

  4. "Fast" uses the least amount of VRAM, followed by "soft", and "crisp" takes the most. If you have sufficient VRAM, it's really more a matter of personal preference than performance.

  5. Depending how you plan your flight. But the PAX and Cargo is set by adjusting the ZFW at the groundservice menu. Here is an example from PFPX (payware) I got 111 PAX and 1175kg CARGO which gives me a ZFW of 44.6 tons. So just set 44.6 tons ZFW on the groundservice menu. You can also use the free tool SimBrief.com for planning your flight.

  7. Works the same as in FSX, no extra plugins needed. Sent from my Swift 2 Plus using Tapatalk

  8. You can enter Transition Level at the Descent Forecast page. (DES-button on FMS ->FORECAST) I usually enter the transition level when im doing the descend/approach planning. (while airborn and before TOD).

  9. mmerelles is correct. The 22.0% is a default setting - the FMS has no way of knowing the actual CG (some other aircraft attempt to find it by measuring strut compression), so you have to enter it manually. Well, you don´t have to - the FMS does nothing but calculate your trim for you...which you already have on the ground service menu. What´s important is that you set the correct trim on the trim wheel. Cheers, Jan

  10. type your CG on the scratchpad, then press LSK3 to update the FMC CG as per the ground service, the fmc will update CG and resulting TRIM

  11. As Tom said, the aircraft has not the feature, you can only set total zero fuel weight via the ixeg menu (pax+cargo) and fuel. note: you may cosider Igodispatchapp, mobile version is available and desktop version coming soon. Upcoming igodispatch desktop version

  12. Thanks a lot to both of you. It may indeed have something to do with tyre friction and the fact that engine failure seems a bit sudden in XPLANE. Because the issue I have is really with the initial reaction. Once airborne the 737 is a bit tricky with an engine out especially at high gross weight, but it does seem realistic (here I have difficulties also, but because of my lack of skills !). Anyway, I really appreciate your help. Charles

  14. Terrific news, even though I will have to wait a bit. This is a great app. Well done

  15. The visuals remain as they were. For me, only the performance has changed, specifically that it appears overpowered.

  16. I have to add my praises and appreciation for v1.2. It is just my favorite plane in xp11. And it is a real pleasure to fly. It trims beautifully and you can handfly it to TOC no problems. You can really feel the "weight " of the plane when you rotate or when you accelerate down the runway. And the reflections are just gorgeous

  17. Well I am able to get it to work just fine with xEnviro. You just have to inject the xEnviro weather into the xPlane weather for it to appear on the IXEG radar. IXEG takes its info from the xplane weather page. xEnviro is a separate engine and does not interact with xplane weather. However, if you set xplane weather to use custom weather and point it to the xEnviro generated METAR.rwx file, it will use this to generate rain and rain echo on the radar. Of course this relies on the METAR info and might differ from what xEnviro shows, i.e. the xEnviro engine might be outputting rain at altitude when the METAR shows no rain, so you won't see it in this case. Hope this helps.

  18. Glad you like it, wain! For capturing the ILS you need to keep in mind that you need to both arm the APP mode (GS and LOC in white), set the correct ILS frequency and also dial in the correct localizer heading on the CRS selector that is related to the side that you tuned the ILS on (L or R). Also be aware that you must capture the LOC (green) first before the GS can be captured. You can theoretically descend in VNAV on a "virtual glideslope", for this to work you MUST "dial away" (select something else) on the ALT window, otherwise VNAV won´t leave that altitude. Jan

  19. Yes. Using the manual brakes will disengage the auto brake system. As intended.
