Thanks a lot, guys - we have something cooking for you as we type - development continues! Jan4 points

Thanks @lanmancz@tull@TDPlane for the warming words. Given the geographical dispersion of our team, I think I dare say that there's someone, somewhere in the world working hard on improving the 737 at any given time of the day. 24/7. Seven days of the week. And that is of course not counting the contributions of users supplying bug reports and feature suggestions. Anyway, comments like yours make that work even more motivating and rewarding.4 points

A little preview of the terrain radar work-in-progress: Elevations not yet considered, actually I'm working mainly to the terrain engine in order to understand which is the best way to map the area. Please remember that the terrain radar is not a device originally meant to be high def/high res as we intend today, so a low/medium res could be accepted. Actually available ranges are 10, 20, 40 and 80nm... I'm sure that further improvements are doable but I always write my code thinking at overall performances, so if I'll introduce some lags because a range extension to 160nm or a better display resolution I'll do a step back immediately.4 points

Gentleman, Ladies, you have outdone yourself. Outdone everyone, in fact. On my most recent flight--Christchurch to Queenstown, posting later today on YouTube--I glanced down at the left-hand side of the center pedestal, and what did I see? A cup-holder. And a cup of coffee. A *sloshing* cup of coffee, with a moving reflection! Okay, cool. Then, when I exited the turbulence I was in, the coffee stopped sloshing and the reflection quit moving. Even better. And when the main gear touched. . .the coffee jiggled! Over. Done. Best ever. Made my day! Best, Marshall2 points

I've been a test pilot for some other aircraft and they're just fine. And true ... the IXEG 733 is in a league of it's own. You guys took your time and it was worth it. Still have some wishes though ... Keep it up guys and remember ... it's lonely at the top.2 points

... and getting a number of CTD greater than previous betas, testing is in progress. On my Mac the download size was 328Mb. Oh, by the way: right now my installation is clean, no external plugin and/or aircrafts.1 point

Hello, I bought the IXEG 737 on day one when it released and I have to say that since that day it is BY FAR my most favorite aircraft to fly! Since then I tried to fly other aircraft from time to time but I very quickly come back to the 737! Despite it's few quirks here and there it is absolutely stunning! I just wanted to take a moment (during my cruise here, lol) to thank the whole IXEG team for this wonderful aircraft which I think I did not do yet - thanks guys!♥1 point

Hello, well this is a bit silly but I just bought PFPX for my flight planning recently and just for fun I'd like to add the operating costs into the flight planner. Not being a pilot or having any insight into how airlines operate though the only thing I managed to figure out is the current fuel cost which is ~$1.3/US gallon. Do you guys have perhaps some idea about some semi-realistic values for the rest of it for the 737-300 ? http://www.indexmundi.com/commodities/?commodity=jet-fuel1 point

We see some issues with people that have soundcards that can´t play enough sounds and those sound slots are already taken up by other, sound-intensive add-ons... We have also had the odd report where people turned down volumes by accident. Then people got sounds again after rebooting, so there is definitely some vodoo involved, sometimes. Let me know if any of these hints helped you get your sounds back - best regards, Jan1 point

Just loaded the aircraft - WOW - Nice job to the PMDG team. I could not be happier with the product. This is version 1 and I am sure it will get even better as they work the little nit noid kinks out of it. But bottom line for me, PMDG hit a home run with the DC-6. I read some of the manual before I started. Had the hardest time trying to figure out why, at first, only 2 engines would go to full power and the other two only about half way. Discovered the gust lock which got me over that hurdle. After that, I had a great cross country flight from KBOS down to KDCA. Had to actually manage aircraft systems (fuel, etc). The aircraft flies like a champ and everything seems to work and respond as in the actual aircraft. They include an optional flight engineer and co-pilot to help with the checklist if you so desire. I started without and then switched over to the assist for climb and rest of flight. What a blast! It was a bit of a workout but it brought me back as close to real flight as you can get (minus 4 billion for a level d sim :)). I have nothing but praise for the product, nice job for the initial entry into X-Plane. They really hit this one out of the ball park. Of note, the only two aircraft I fly are the IXEG 737 and PMDG DC-6. They, have done a terrific job at getting the flight characteristics and aircraft systems modeled correctly. The other aircraft seem to be a cut below (just my opinion for what it is worth).1 point

To add to Jan's comments, we lowered some of the A/T gains in 1.0.5 after observing some over enthusiastic behaviour in some modes. We probably overdid it a now it is too docile in some regimes. It's a complex regulator to tweak, with different gains depending on AP pitch modes and such so we'll want to be more thorough in testing these adjustments before we make another patch for it.1 point

We will look into A/T tuning in the future - but it is a fine balance between it being too springy and too sluggish. The real autopilot will also over- undershoot the target values on occasion, but it shouldn´t do so by 20kts, that is true. Jan1 point

I've flown nothing else since I bought it from day one and I have no intention of flying anything else either, not one single airplane I have in my hanger compares to ixeg 737, it is in a league of its own by far, it is just unbelievable phenomenal, I mean just taking off, the immersion, GOD, bloody mega plane.....MEGA!! Beta 2 is out. It fixes the new autogen issue and also the issue with the new AI aircraft but has apparently it's own new glitches. Some lights in aircrafts seem not to work correctly. Further information are available in the developer blog (link provided by mmerelles). Many happy landings Till1 point

You might want to un-check the "never change visible weather" option in the RWC configuration. If that's on and FSGRW drops new weather data for your immediate area, it will be ignored.1 point
