Hello Captains, X-Aviation and IXEG are pleased to offer you a free upgrade to version 1.0.1 of the IXEG 737 Classic! We would also like to take this opportunity to introduce you to our HotFix system! Rather than going and re-downloading an entire aircraft package, or having to go through a full re-install process, we will be offering more immediate code changes through this delivery method. In short, it's quick, easy, and kind of fun! Please read below how to install this update! But first, here's what's in it... Version 1.0.1 introduces the following fixes: Fixes incompatibility with XPUIPC where autopilot oscillations would occur and aircraft would climb through desired altitude Fixes Navigraph crash/incompatibility issues when selecting a SID or STAR Emergency EXIT light switch position now OFF in cold and dark Disabled flap callouts. We will re-think the feature soon Fixes issue where lights would not come on with Real Terra Haze installed Adjusted sensitivity to tiller Pre-flight and ground service menu weights now match Spoilers now auto-deploy on RTO or landing Fixes bug where temperature entered into wrong menu option on FMC crashes Solves collapsing gear on sim load when cold and dark and turn around Fixes FMC soft crash when selecting waypoint on duplicates page Fixed crossfeed logic to allow proper draining of tanks with fuel pump pressure differential Wired up the Position Lights switch to connect to Hot Battery Bus when in position ON BAT Solves FMC Soft crash when entering PLAN FUEL on PERF INIT before entering anything else ISA/OAT entry now work on PERF INIT page Fixes issue where, in some complex sharp turns the route drawn would show a "kink" Fixes several crashes during in-air editing of routes Adds key commands for MCP ALT and VS To upgrade your aircraft to version 1.0.1 please follow the below steps: Open X-Plane and the 737 Classic as your aircraft In the X-Plane menu bar at top, select Plugins > Gizmo64 > Windows > HotFix You will be asked to enter in your HotFix ID. Copy and paste in the following: 9dd62a47084093ddbee53917e43a4e0e Click 'Update' Once it has downloaded and installed, click 'Reboot' and you'll be done! Thank you for all of your support! Certainly safe to "give it a go" and see what happens. With 300,000+ nav points, you never know......but I can tell you that there has hardly been a bug like this we could not patch in a day or two...then try it again, etc. The HOTFIX system is all about getting customers improvements to code as quickly as possible. We certainly don't stop trying to improve the code, we're on it every day....well...family gets weekends. -tkyler6 points

We have migrated X-Pilot to a brand new server. Speeds and reliability should be much better from here forward. Enjoy, and sorry for the downtime!4 points

I would like to offer my congratulations to both X-Aviation and IXEG. The 737 Classic is a brilliantly realised aircraft with systems depth and accuracy which I have certainly never experienced in any flight simulation software. Given the level of pre-release expectations from your customers I think you have all performed admirably in releasing such a fine product. The superb level of after-sales support you are providing and the efficient manner in which the current update has been delivered is something which places you right at the top of the heap in comparison to other developers. Congratulations again and I wish you continued success in the future.4 points

To you guys at IXEG and X - Aviation and everyone involved in the 737 development and support, and for the fast response and help over these last couple of days. I would like to say THANK YOU ! For a brilliant Aircraft and superb support and help you have given us. Carl3 points

Excellent to hear! The hotfix system is fantastic by the way, genuinely innovative and so much nicer than a full (or partial) manual reinstall!3 points

I'm just kidding... I love THIS plane! IXEG, your team has set a bar that I wish each developer could reach. Every system in this plane (except my weapons systems) is just exceptional. As a private pilot that will never be able to obtain a commercial license, much less get the opportunity to fly a 737 you guys have provided the closest thing to it that I will ever get. I can't thank you enough for your hard work. Although I only found out about your efforts and work last October I have been eagerly and patiently waiting and it was totally worth it! I love the tutorials and example videos and the flights I have done in it have just been the best. I hope your sales were through the roof and that you were well rewarded for your efforts! If I could make a future update request it would be flight attendants bringing me a mid-flight snack, or more importantly coffee! Happy flying to all! Johnny KTUS3 points

Hey everyone, I found the stock checklist to be a little basic, so I made this expanded checklist in a style that I believe fits the aircraft. Checklist is based on real airline checklist for the 737-300. Big thanks to P3ROn for the help. (Please note that the preview image compression makes the checklist harder to read than it is in sim.) Installation instructions: 1. Go to your X-Plane 10\Aircraft\X-Aviation\IXEG 737 Classic folder 2. Make a backup of the current IXEG_checklist.png file (e.g. by renaming it to "IXEG_checklist.png.old") 3. Copy this downloaded IXEG_checklist.png to the IXEG 737 Classic folder 4. Enjoy. Please note that this checklist is not an official IXEG checklist. If you have any comments or gripes, they belong here or to me via PM. I can also be contacted at doctornerdrage@gmail.com. Hi gentlemen, I installed the hotfix, then reloaded the aircraft. I did a different flight than before when I had issues from KFKL- KMCO not following the LNAV. I flew KPDX - KSEA tonight as time was tight. The FMC followed my plan perfectly, even though it was simple... No SID from KPDX, just the STAR going into KSEA. Also handled the ILS 34R at KSEA flawlessly! Only went up to FL125 as it was a short hop. Logic seems much improved. I will try the KFLL-KMCO flight I originally had issues with tomorrow. Guys, keep up the great, fantastic, incredible work that you are doing! The amount of things that you squeezed into this hotfix is much more than anyone would expect in such a short period of time since release. I'm sure there are more issues out there, but what a great start. I immensely enjoyed my flight this evening. Thank you guys! Sincerely, Jeff2 points

Hi Ben! This is my pc: i7 3770K @4.4 Ghz with 16GB RAM, GTX780Ti 3Gb and WIN 10 64 Bit. X-Plane runs smoothly (30-40 fps with medium-high settings). EDIT: I have tried to reduce the rendering option and download the hotfix but the issue is still present. Thank you again for your support Francesco1 point

definitely let me know the routing and cruise alt, + logs and I'll jump all over this! We do give quite a few routes a try, but over the last two days, we are simply finding, "wow, I just don't enter things that way". Huge help to have you report these. THX! -tkyler1 point

Yes, please be more descriptive than this, and please post in the appropriate bug section if you truly find these bugs are really bugs and not something wrong on your end.1 point

Wow! I have been simming since mid 80s, and all these years I have dreamt of a desktop experience as immersive and realistic as this! Thankyou! You are about to define a totally new level of standard to the community, this release will be the "milestone of the decade" ! Not surprised, there is some premature behaviour, - after all its giant a piece of software fresh from the mill. But you seem to be well prepared and put all effort into solving the various issues. What a fantastic team! As for now - I am more than happy and thrilled just getting to know the aircraft, doing startups and taxiing while listening to the incredible soundwork and feeling the insanse realistic movement of the model. It really does remind me of the real thing. If attachments could be physical, you´d be catching cold beers and champagne out of your computers. Congratulations!1 point

You can create your “own” sky colors by creating a folder inside Silverlining which should hold the same combination of files as the those provided: So if Abdullah's "Realistic Skycolors for X-Plane 10" has the same colors files it should work. But if it relies on modified shaders those would not work with SMP. Hope this can help…1 point

Have you seen how minimal it is on the classics? You can barely notice it in reality - only the very outboard portion moves, and even then only a few inches at most! It's nice to have but in small, stiff-winged aircraft it is far from necessary. Save dev time for more interesting additions I say!1 point

I have had no issues. A couple of tech failures, but I haven't checked to see if random failures is on. Was a nice challenge anyways. I want to thank the IXEG team as well. The attention to detail is fenominal. Great to see the coffee bouncing about in the cup! I love coffee. The master caution annunciator looking kind of loose is great as well. Very dynamic. Plus, the controls finally move along with the A/P (other a/c look so static). The engines take a lovely long time to spool down. The sound is fenominal! Really immersive. I was parked, with the cockpit windows open, messing about with the CDU, and noticed something about the sound changing. Turned out that something indeed changed in my right bleed air system. Can't remember exactly what it was but the air was going right overboard (isln valve closed). So yeah. That's what I heard. oooh and and the CFMs look great as well! I was quite amazed to see through the spinning fan. The click n drag is nicely tuned, the pop up menu works great, checklist is in the right place for me to quickly grab. Flight dynamics are awesome. I could go on for thousands more words trying to describe how nicely immersive this 733 is. Even though I noticed some people are reporting issues. Some of them, IMO, unreasonable, taking the complexity of this product into account. I think you guys did a brilliant job. Thanks! I'm a total fan.1 point

"I have noted a number of folks concerned about whether we can handle the initial demand. At X-Aviation, we have had some rather big releases in recent time and come to know what to expect pretty well with releases like this. The IXEG 737 release will be no different" surprise surprise...1 point

This is detailed scenery for Dallas Love Field KDAL. Dallas Love Field (IATA: DAL, ICAO: KDAL) is a city-owned public airport 6 miles (10 km) northwest of downtown Dallas, Texas. It was Dallas' main airport until 1974 when Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) opened. The corporate headquarters for Southwest Airlines is located at Love Field. The airport is also a focus city for Southwest as well as for Virgin America and Delta Airlines. Seven full service fixed base operators (FBOs) provide general aviation service: fuel, maintenance, hangar rentals, and charters. A special thanks to Tom aka tsw66. He should be considered a coauthor and deserves a ton of credit for helping me complete this project. Also as always thanks to Justin aka MisterX. X-plane is a better place due to his work.
