So on another note, quite a bit of a milestone. All the code for the VNAV 1.0 feature list is in place as of today and we are beginning flight testing and debugging of the full route LNAV / VNAV capability within a few days (our main tester seems to be a real airline pilot away at work....slacker). After our internal debugging checks and fixes, we'll engage a relatively quick beta test with some selected newbies (already selected)...and then we will mop and sweep, spit and polish and release. No date given. -tkyler9 points

One more for you - taken just now over Washington State's Cascade Mountains at dusk (my old stomping grounds.) Note how the clouds are blocked by the mountains just like real life, and the long cloud shadows near sunset.1 point

SMP 3.1 and Real Weather Connector are by far the two most anticipated add-ons for me this year. I have been waiting a long time for weather depictions in XPX such as show in the video. Hopefully seasonal textures are next on the list.1 point

Of course. They deserve to do whatever they want and need. Indeed, I think this topic is just a little bit of fun. Indeed dreaming about what they could turn their abilities to. Neither of us is in a position to demand anything1 point

Unfortunately we won´t be able to feature the "database" holds for the many enroute holdings published, though. The holds that we have are part of procedures, for example at the end of most missed approaches. But we don´t do (YET!) the enroute holdings where you click on HOLD, enter the relevant fix, and then the database "suggests" the correct holding with inbound course, turn direction, etc. We definitely want that - if the database supports it - but for now you would just have to hold "manually", using the EHSI map. Of course you can use the FIX page already to draw the fix to hold at and the inbound radial, that helps a lot with situational awareness. The holding function is on the very top of the list for stuff post 1.0, so I expect us to tackle that right after the worst glitches you guys will certainly find are fixed. Jan1 point

Navigraph's 4 AIRAC cycles over the course of a year is a good deal. You can choose which four cycles, it's not very expensive, and you get mostly up-to-date nav data. Not much changes in a month.1 point
