  1. It's possible this is the issue. Unfortunately that is so old we don't even have a way to test for it any longer. X-Plane 11 was released in 2016. That's going on 5 years now.
  2. No. The post AFTER that talked about v5. The post I linked you to talked about v4.
  3. You already got your answer:
  4. You can enable and disable the plugin in the Plugin Manager.
  5. It's not operational at the moment.
  6. You're essentially having a CG issue. I don't know what you want him to "fix". He told you what to do.
  7. That's normal.
  8. No, there are no plans for this.
  9. White clouds would be due to the presence of moonlight. SkyMaxx takes the moon phases into account when coloring things at night. Unless you mean you're seeing day bright white clouds at night? Otherwise, some white is expected and intended if the moon is present. You cannot adjust this.
  10. @Jose Pires You need to post your log.txt file.
  11. The image you have provided is clearly showing the enlarged text. Your computer is for some reason not properly making the change, but that IS what's happening here.
  12. As I suspected. Something in the rendering pipeline, and I have seen this with AMD cards before (Laminar is also aware of it, but till now still hasn't got it resolved). You can try altering your rendering settings and ensuring HDR is enabled. I don't know if xEnviro has options to turn cloud shadows off, but that may help too.
  13. I believe this is a known issue with AMD cards. Does it persist if xEnviro is disabled?
  14. I think you should lower it to something like 70. You can use the right mouse button held down and drag the mouse to see around the panel, as if your head is moving. This would allow you to see the panel. You could also setup numpad views, where pressing numbers on your numpad take you to sections of the plane. Move your "head" around with the right mouse as explained above, then use CTRL plus a number on your numpad, like CTRL + 1. Then, press W to go back to forward view. Now press 1 on your numpad and it should take you to the view you just saved. You can assign multiples of these views with your numpad keys. You can physically move around the cockpit/cabin with: q = Left head turn e = Right head turn Up arrow key = Move forward Down arrow key = Move backward Use shift and any of the keys above to make the movement faster. Always press 'W' to get back to your forward cockpit position. VR is not necessary.
  15. You'll need to post a screenshot or video.
  16. Lower your lateral field of view on that page. Try something like 70.
  17. Sounds like you need to run the installer provided in your purchase.
  18. No, that is not correct.
  19. That's a fair point. I forgot about NVIDIA support being so long ago already!

  21. It just means that because you've taken out one plugin not compatible, the next is now barfing because it's also not compatible. For Apple, compiling is done with target selection and you hope for the best. The problem is, Apple begins to remove previous OS compatibility as time goes. It's likely that some library is no longer compatible. I would not count on 10.13 compatibility from here on out, and if you need 1.1.12 you can send an e-mail to support@x-aviation.com stating such. Honestly, there's no reason to hang on to 10.13, and if you are, it's likely for an app and you should re-evaluate. Apple is going to keep pushing forward, and you're going to get left further and further behind. Finding alternative apps is probably a better idea.
  22. Unfortunately this is what Apple says SHOULD work. It's evident it doesn't. The target is selected at compile time. As it's so old, we were not personally able to test. It's clear it doesn't.
  23. A few things: 1. You may need to restart your computer. 2. You cannot be in the installer when you make this change.
  24. Since you're not using volumetric, can you install SMPv4 from your order history and provide a proof comparison that something is amiss? Nothing should have changed between v4 style clouds.
  25. Performance improvements will mostly come through hardware. The actual software behind ray-casted clouds has been around long enough to not have a "magic" button to change things via code. You have a couple of options: 1. Evaluate your AA setting in the X-Plane rendering settings. Seems a lot of people with these higher end cards are trying to push sliders so far right that it's becoming too much when you add in ray-casted clouds. I'd also re-evaluate any use of max textures. It's not necessary and not a huge trade-off to lower this a notch down. 2. Switch to a different cloud type in the SkyMaxx settings that were similar to v4. In v5, these older cloud types will be getting changes and performance increases, so even if you had v4 you will be getting something different in v5 that benefits you.
