  1. In X-Plane 11.50, Laminar Research added GCU functionality (the keypad and knobs to control the G1000, as in the SR22). These commands only exist in X-Plane 11.50 so that is why we say X-Plane 11 only. (Note, the rest of the aircraft still functions in 11.41, it is only the GCU that doesn't work in 11.41). The aircraft works just fine in either Metal/Vulcan mode or OpenGL mode in X-Plane as well. Nobody is under any obligation to purchase the SR22.

  4. For what it's worth. The oxygen refill is instant with mine. After this was brought up yesterday I tried it last night after a long 4 hour high altitude flight. Once on the ground and shut down when I did the maintenance on the Oxygen system it instantly refilled. So I suppose this particular bug isn't affecting everyone.

  5. Error 127 is typically caused by an old version of XGS landing speed plugin being installed, please update to the latest version of that and you should be set. Details: https://torquesim.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/1/topic/a7a12d04-db0f-4347-9a15-b232956f57b1/article/154042450

  6. The plane has a free-cantering nose wheel, so you can’t steer it with the rudder pedals (unless you’re at higher speeds on takeoff/landing). You have to tap the toe brakes to steer the plane. There are some great YouTubers that show how it’s done.

  7. Hello, Just a short video without any pretention showing that visuals are pretty good in x-plane, clouds especially (thanks to SkyMaxx pro), and how it is nice to fly the IXEG B737 (quite diffferent from my DR-400 in real life !). Littoral Airlines is my VA on IVAO. (PS : I am new with Windows, so I have to improve my knowledge of OBS and Shotcut... And I know, I forgot to switch off the terrain radar before taxying to the gate ! Quite hard to make screeen shots and to stay concentrated on this very difficult approach... Thanks for your indulgence).

  9. We have made some significant progress in debugging the issue. While we are still working on a fix to get everything back to normal, we seem to have found a potential aggregator, why some people are getting CTDs all the time, and others nearly never. If you have any Lua based plugins installed, these seem to be what is aggravating the issue to lead to the CTD. This is not an issue with those other plugins, but removing them temporarily seems to be a potential remedy to get you flying for now until we get an official fix out there. If you are experiencing the CTDs, if you can, please test by temporarily removing all Lua-affiliated plugins (with the exception of Gizmo) and test? I want to reiterate, this is not an issue with Lua, or those plugins, but simply a symptom of the deeper issue we are working on.

  12. Looks just like a missing redistributable, this should get you going: https://torquesim.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/1/topic/a7a12d04-db0f-4347-9a15-b232956f57b1/article/128188431

  13. Before this turns into another FS vs XP thread, I'll say we've got the FS2020 SDK, and we know what is going into it. And that's where our information will stop. All I want to say about this is that FS2020 is a flight sim. X-Plane is a flight sim. Both have lived and grown alongside each other for the better part of 2-3 decades. MSFS development has stopped once or twice in those 20-30 years, but it has never had an effect on X-Plane to the extent of "Laminar will go out of business." Use whatever you want to use. It's up to Laminar and the X-Plane developers to keep people interested in X-Plane to the point where the community will show enough interest in it to keep using it. We all have our own, individual preferences. And rightly so. Let the products speak for themselves.

  14. I really don’t know but most of xplane users do have addons or plug-ins installed ( thats the xplane community ) and not fly vanilla. Its easy for dev to say „oh sorry“ for troubles that the plane isn’t working - but in vanilla xplane it works. I really use plugins with good reputations so i think ever bevor install it. But ok - other planes work good especially IXEG 737........ I hope someday your plane works as well as it should.

  15. So do I have sit there and stare at it? Or can I just quit x plane and come back in 20 mins? just some feedback... That might be a bit too much realism I can refuel in secs and I think this should be the same. I don't see what is gained by sitting and waiting for a virtual oxygen fill up when the point is to get sim practice.
