Hello All, This will serve as a formal forum announcement that we have released the version 1.21 update for the Take Command! IXEG 737 Classic. All customers who have purchased the IXEG 737 Classic up till now have been sent an e-mail by X-Aviation with complete instructions on how to obtain your update. We have made this a very simple process! For those that purchase the IXEG 737 Classic from today forward, your purchased download will already be updated to version 1.21 for you. ======== This update is fully X-Plane 10 and 11 compatible. IMPORTANT As of IXEG v 1.21 the flight model is now updated to XP v 11.1. THIS MEANS THAT YOU NEED XP v 11.1 OR NEWER FOR THE IXEG v 1.21 AIRCRAFT TO PERFORM AS IN INTENDED! So, if you use - say - XP 11.05 with IXEG v1.21, you will probably experience trim issues, aircraft nose wanting to lift off to early on takeoff etc. And possibly other strange issues. So if you for some reason wan't/need to stick with XP v 11.05 or older, stick with IXEG v 1.20. ======== What if I didn't get the update e-mail? If you did not receive your update e-mail don't fret! X-Aviation has updated our system to allow all customers to update with ease, regardless of whether you received an e-mail for the update! Here's what to do: 1. Login to your X-Aviation account here: https://www.x-aviation.com/catalog/account_history.php 2. Find your original IXEG 737 Classic download and re-download the file. It will download as the latest version! The following is a list of additions/fixes included: What's New / Changed: Added reflective glass surfaces in cockpit for XP11 Added datarefs for autopilot modules Several bugs fixed to enhance stability of FMS Flight model is now updated to latest XP 11.10 standard. New downwash effects in XP11 (like mild nose-down effect when close to ground, as in reality) Enabled stick shaker sound again when near or below stall AOA Improvement to automatic go-around speed commands Improved cargo holds (lit at night, affect pressurization) Fixed standby-power logic Enabled Captain´s altimeter to work when powered by standby bus Stopped LNAV tracking when route is deleted Updates Gizmo to v18.01.02, tuned for consistent frame rates - roughly 10% faster As always, thanks for being a customer with X-Aviation. We appreciate your feedback and support! Enjoy these latest updates, and stay tuned to the forum as we continually announce the latest happenings.5 points

There is currently a bug in X-Plane where the cockpit instruments reflect the "landscape" outside the cockpit, and not the cockpit itself. Expect the reflections to even get better with the next X-Plane update. Cheers, Jan2 points

One man's loss of FPS is not another's. You need to try it for yourself, much in the same way that one guy has 5 fps gain on SkyMaxx and the other has 5 fps loss. Everyone's system is different.2 points

Hi all I'm seeing the same as Alejandro Serino. FPS is high, so it's not a problem, but around 10fps lower than it used to be. If there is any data you want me to provide on the matter, please don't hesitate to ask. FPS on my computer is absolutely fine, but lower than before.2 points

Just tried a quick take off from YMML before getting ready for bed. I deliberately left the cargo hatches open (ground handler missed those when doing his check) At just over 10,000' the horn went off and pressure dropped. No 1 engine bleed faulted. I think I noted everything. This A/C is the cat's pyjamas & a joy to fly. I am spending far too much time having fun.2 points

fps has been tuned for consistent rate rather than peak rates. peak rates were higher in older versions but it came at the cost of larger more noticeable spikes. when both plugins were tuned for consistent rates the new plugin ran better in the lab.2 points

SOLVED This affected a subset of Windows users. If you were one of the affected customers please delete the installer you have and re-download.2 points

Hi Bluedleta737, the VNAV descent planning can get pretty wonky - please consider it a WIP. We are going to improve on it. For now it works ok on simple routings (long enough, no weird restrictions during descent), but can be off for other cases. Just like in the real airplane, take everything the computer hands you with a grain (or tablespoon) of salt. Cheers, Jan1 point

i'm very happy with ixeg 737 but 10 fps drop is a big amount if you are using trackir. hope i can go back to previus version since i did not make a backup.1 point

i've lost 10 fps with the 1.21 update, or maybe the new gizmo update, some sugestions?1 point

My hands are itching to go try the new learning....But still have about another 6 hours to go.... Thank you again...1 point

yes perfectly correct. engines need to go to idle thrust first (by pulling the thrust lever all the way back), then you are able to initiate the reverse engagement. This is how the real aircraft works. note: there is a pin safety mechanism that does not allow reversers to engage if throttles are not all the way back to idle1 point

I am using one of the keys on my Logitech Joystick. It is not one of the AXIS levers (thank you for guiding me with a similar issue on Zibo's 800 plane). In fact the key I am using is mapped to the function HOLD THRUST LEVERS AT MAX. I also have another key mapped to TOGGLE THRUST LEVERS. Neither of them actuate the THRUST REVERSER LEVERS. Thanks again for looking into my question1 point
-
what do you use to engage/apply thrust reverse? -if you use toggle thrust reverse command it will just engage, you neet to apply throlttles which will apply reverse. -otherwise you need to to hold thrust reverse at max. This will engage and apply reverse thrust while you keep pressing the button1 point

Found the simplest fix of them all. Downloaded and installed the aircraft one more time and all is well. Thank you all for trying to help me out! All the best, Werner1 point

No. Different bug. The marker.1 bug dies with Gizmo 18+ but it seems I swapped it for another less predictable item. Oh well. Such is dev life.1 point

All seems good on Mac. Successful Flight YBBN to YSSY. FPS no improvement on my machine, perhaps even a bit worse. No complaints though. Thanks1 point

You mean to close the popup window, not the Gizmo plugin, right? Re SASL: I'm using Gizmo in my payware projects (aka DC9), so when I have some to spend to do some stuff for Avanti, it is logical that I will go with what I'm using on a daily basis. After all it is proven that Gizmo is very powerful, with 2 of the best aircraft simulations, run on Gizmo (IXEG 733 and LES Saab 340A). And since I want that horsepower available to me, for things that will come, even for the free Avanti, I ask from you, that for now, accept the small annoyance to have to close that popup window.
