Do you guys (IXEG) do a daily/weekly/etc SCRUM? You could just record those with an iPhone (video or audio), and post on your blog if you wanted a better way of showing your progress/updates to potential customers I think blog posts are better for "updates" because then they have their own comment thread per video/post for questions and ongoing discussion. Waiting patiently for this plane. Looks really bad-ace.2 points

There was an update on another post not too long ago. Basically this is what's happening. They are testing the vnav right now and fixing any bugs that show up. They are testing crazy outcomes such as 2 missed approaches and 1 diversion with a missed approach there and coming back and switching the ils last second. Conclusion of the update, fms didn't crash after all of that, vnav calculations got a bit off. Normal use of vnav works quite well. From now on, it's just waiting until closed beta.2 points

The next person who asks that question, you should respond "work Continues to Continues to continue" . And keep increasing every time.2 points

Folks, This product will be priced fairly and proportionately based on five years work and a team of people getting their compensation. We will not debate this here. The price is not announced, and no one will be holding a gun to your head to purchase it after the fact. The best thing you can do is vote with your wallet, and you'll surely be offered such an opportunity in a short time. If the price ends up being out of your range of acceptability then we all accept that and kindly ask you to appreciate our side too. Likewise, if the price is cheap enough for you to justify years of enjoyment (whatever that price may be) then we welcome you! That's all for this topic. There's no need to let it spiral over something not even released.2 points

Hello Captains!, Today we're excited to announce what's coming forward for SkyMaxx Pro v3.1. This will be a free update for all current SkyMaxx Pro v3 owners! We anticipate release for this to be sometime within the next 2-3 weeks. At this time we are in the 12th beta with our internal group of testers. With this free update you can look forward to the following: - Landing lights now illuminate clouds as you fly through them! - Performance enhancements to reduce "stutters" when new cloud conditions are loaded - Many overall performance enhancements - More variation in cloud shapes - More accurate cloud altitudes - Visual improvements to solid and broken stratiform clouds - Numerical setting values now displayed in the config screen - New ability to save and load named configuration sets - More tuning of cloud lighting, visibility, and shadow effects - Ready for the upcoming Real Weather Connector product Hope you like what's coming your way!1 point

Replying with a new 'W.I.P. video' is also allowed next to these regular comments, Jan (a)1 point

Well, part of the blame is on us - we start an official "progress update" thread, then post more snippets of "updates" in replies to questions and comments. So sometimes the latest "piece of news" from us is not in the latest "progress update" thread, and it can become a bit confusing. I was thinking about doing regular reports, but these would get a bit repetitive on the edge of silly if we go "this last week we worked on the FMS... AGAIN... " Jan1 point

Did you read the title of this thread and others in this forum? This really is a pointless conversation, my contribution to it will end here1 point

1. Fly approach to EDDF, ILS07C.....execute missed approach to TAU VOR 2. Fly approach to ILS07C again...miss it again, divert to EDDK....missed approach there 3. Divert back to EDDF, ILS07C 4. Just before IAF, change arrival to runway 07C with 19NM runway extension waypoint and bank hard right to catch the extension waypoint and bleed some speed, then hard left to reintercept the leg between the extension waypoint and 07C threshold. VNAV calculations got a bit off during this little test, what with all the CDU shenanigans going on, but the FMS didn't crash....quite the plus. For normal flights without missed approaches, everything is performing quite well. VNAV calibrations continue. -tkyler1 point

Mate! I have only been following this recently, but must say this looks fantastic! I see you have also incorporated the work of George Keogh to be entered in the new scenery drops! This will make flying the islands a massive gain in X Plane, appreciate your self-taught ways. Just so I read this correctly, you have recently updated us with the addition of: Niihau, Kauai and Lehua. Where do we download the three options to add this to Lanai, Kahoolawe and Molokai? Cheers. Cool, so you would like an update too. I read this forum every day and see people constantly asking for updates; I also see the IXEG guys and others asking people to wait or stop asking for updates. If I were them I would be over the moon that people are asking and would be sad to see excited fans being shot down for their enthusiasm. I know IXEG do give updates to many of the requests here within a thread, I'm not saying they don't update enough. The problem is that everyone doesn't have time or can't possibly ready every post in every thread for an update. So when someone asks for feedback and IXEG responds or when a team member takes 5 minutes out to discuss a bug or scenario, can I suggest a new thread is always created so that it is easy to find and accessible to people who jump in and out of these forums? Lets say for example I asked for feedback in this comment right now: someone from IXEG might respond below saying "Yep I have an update today and here it is at this new thread" or they or anyone could easily and politely respond "no update today but here's the last update". I think this would be much easier than people joking and moaning because someones missed a 8th March update 10 pages down a 11 page thread titled "Progress Update - 1st December".0 points

I'm not even sure what argument you are trying to make here? What, linux users don't pay for things? Can you clarify your position? Seems to me, I've paid for numerous pay aircraft, plugins and xplane itself. I think the point the poster above was making is that most of us linux users are forced to run windows to use a good deal of products because add on companies don't know how to use cross compilers, or are to lazy to do so. I don't see how running linux at all implies that linux users are not willing to pay for payware products. Your comments here seem misinformed, or ignorant. Not sure which. Please clarify your position. I am going to suggest that the add on developers for any and all flight sim related products start reading articles like this: http://betanews.com/2016/03/04/windows-10-universal-windows-platform-monopoly/ Microsoft is working on taking 30% of your GM from you. In nitch markets like flight simming this is going to push a lot of you guys out of business. You might want to consider starting to support platforms that are not looking at shutting you out of the marketplace. Because if you think Microsoft or Apple aren't closing the door on you, you need to open your eyes. Of course, unless you want to take a 30% pay cut, and be subservient to the Microsoft's of the world.-1 points

Wow. Jeez, people. I brought up a point, I wasn't spouting nonsense like the type of comment the downvote button is meant for. You could have simply discussed instead of downvoting. That's just plain rude.-2 points
