  1. You create an account to ask that? No. No release. It was just a joke. They trolled us 5 years.

  3. Release 1.0 is closing... This is the point where I say "stop" for v1.0. You never really can finish a plane. Still, there are awful lots of things to do. But let's leave those for v2.0 So what we have so far: Quite realistic engine and flight model (~95% matching real data) Instrument lighting Yoke can be hidden Basic anti and de-ice system Custom engine sounds Custom engine startup Checklist for XCheclist Wunderbaum and many more which is up to you to find out All basic instruments are working, you can either fly RNAV with Garmin or NON-RNAV (VOR2VOR) flights with the NAV instruments. Did several flights on IVAO lately to check out if I missed something, but seems like all are there. Of course, I'll keep working on this beauty Despite I put a lots of effort to this plane, v1.0 will remain freeware. That's not going to change. Ever. Bugfixes of course will come after release, so I'll keep updating this version. But in the meantime I start working on v2.0 which going to be payware. But that's really the far-ish future, so I don't want to get ahead of myself yet. Here are the latest shots, hope you like it.

  4. As Jan says, DCL is for debug only; however, I think other FMS systems may utilize it. (Hrm..small bug uncovered. The wrong waypoint is Magenta :P) See...still a tiny bit of work to do NOTE: Before we get in too deep....theses points are not absolutes.....except maybe the first T/D. You cross that first T/D circle and the plane enters the decent phase. The other green dots are "estimated" of course and depending on lots of things...like our performance database, winds and such, the plane may respond a bit on "either side" of these markers...but they are, in general, close....or should be. Its one of those things we expect users to help refine if we missed anything. Here's the correlation.

  6. The generic instruments are very powerful and quite flexible. The generic tape is what you want to use for your ASI. The best way to learn is to find other aircraft that are using generic instruments and reverse engineer what was done. I have attached two (2) textures and one (1) screenshot for you to analyze. These show the setup of the generic ASI tape in the CRJ200 that I did for X-Plane mobile. Hopefully this gives you an idea of how to create the tape that you want.

  7. indeed... after processing plugins as you instructed, this is the issue. It is fixed now with latest version of plugin. should anyone else have this issue, in order to work properly, 124thATC version 2.0 is needed. thank you again in assisting. My apologies for extra work caused.

  8. Well I hope this will change soon , while Xplane's water is OK and I really love it in some situations , real 3D water will be perfect for airports like KSFO.

  9. Technically, thats not quite correct . Just like the real weather radar we depict radar-energy returns. Radar energy will be reflected by liquid water (rain) and by the solid ground (in varying strength, depending on the reflectivity). There will be a tutorial video that shows how to use the weather radar (overscanning, underscanning, ground returns, shadowing, etc.) Jan

  13. I've added a third computer to my pit and some new monitors but I cannot find the cockpit forum, if someone can find it and move this, that would be great. Cockpit now has 3 computers, 1 hack for master, 2 PCs as slaves, the 3rd bolted under the desk. A chair out of an old dodge with a 300 watt subwoofer sealed in the base, a mac mini for XHSI, and an iPad for various view commands. All the buttons and the Saitek Panels are programmed with ControllerMate software, and all planes have they own .xjm file with appropriate dateref for each command, so all buttons, switches and axis are the same across all aircraft. Makes X-Plane hard to walk away from..

  14. Hi all! In the meantime we wait for the release, we should be reading and studying FCOM's, QRH's, Aircraft Manuals and all the stuff we can get, if we want to simulate the operation of this plane following the real procedures. A very good reference are the videos from Baltic Aviation Academy, in particular, all about their B737-300 simulator. I have made a wide selection of them (in brackets the video duration), some videos are inserted automatically, but others don't (I don't know why) Enjoy!!! My best from Spain!
