I flew Southwest airlines last week on a -300, with winglets AND a mechanical ADI / HSI. That caught me by surprise, but I'm telling you I saw it with my own two eyes. TomK3 points

After a little break it's time to start RealLandIsrael 0.8 We updated our autogen set to match the affluent area and also the agriculture area, that we are going to cover first , Hezilya and the area , LLHZ is the most important general aviation airport . Also Tom you should explore the cirrus quality setting. And your most recent reply just made milk come out of my nose....you are trying to match wits with an unwilling participant.... I am not really concerned much with your thoughts on anything....2 points

SMP plugins removed and found the issue. It was entirely unrelated to SkyMaxxPro. All is working well. Thanks for all the help! Great product and service.1 point

Hi guys I'm back here after a long time and want to first say thank you for all your efforts I really appreciate it! Honestly I unistalled SMP long time ago because I was using RTH since the improvements RTH was giving to my flying experience were so much more important than what the amazing SMP was giving instead. I also have discussed here in this forum the possibility that SMP could be implemented with new features such as clouds shadow and v2 came out like an Eastern egg with this awesome surprise for me. I once again want to tell you how much I evaluate your efforts in making this happen! I believe that there is no reason for being enraged with you at all but I believe that the road of simply reporting issues with a moderate tone should be always pursued. Having said all of that I have to agree 1000% with all the other users have reported. And specifically what really popped to my eyes was: 1. The clouds are way too white and without details (greish details) 2. The shadow on the ocean are way off looking exactly like mat's post...very unrealistic. 3. when there are clouds in the sky there is some sort of layer of colors added to the horizon and on the water It is extremely unpleasant! It resembles what RTH does but in a very unrealistic and cartoonish way. 4. Because of the above the overall look of the sky looks like a cartoon indeed. I don't find any problem with the lens flare since it can be deselected and voila' no lens flare. I also find a big fps improvement if compared to the same situation and amount of clouds without SMP. So no... SMP it's not there yet but hey you've already managed to have MOVING clouds (let's all not forget that these clouds are moving) and you've managed to have awesome low fps impact clouds with a good and much improved sunset color transition. I realize how difficult it is to make everyone happy with colors an stuff like that but honestly there are some undeniable facts here that should be addressed and I believe you are really capable of doing that since you came this far. Please: 1. fix the color of the clouds 2. fix the shadows 3. disable the layer of added color saturation to the horizon or make it user selectable Thanks!1 point

I would love to know what this means. We're very responsive and just gave away a massive upgrade free of charge to existing customers after a lengthy and thorough beta testing run. Please do elaborate.1 point

First post on these forums - greetings all!! I just installed version 2.0 and it is truly impressive. Clouds, and the transition in and out of them are breathtaking in in the simple realism. Reflections in the water are stunning and 'real'. I am most impressed (so far) with the cloud shadows on the ground - brought back almost startling memories of the ones I saw flying as a cadet, many, many moons ago. My heartfelt thanks to the developers for a quantum leap in X-Plane realism... BRAVO!!!!!!!!! IceWolf1 point

Here are some pictures of my SkyMaxx Pro 2.0 test flight. The Cessna Corvalis is also from X-Aviation and still the only X-Plane aircraft with integrated (i.e. in 3d cockpit) plausible G1000.1 point

This with beta8, wow. I used to think I would miss AI and ATC switching to x-plane. NO CHANCE! Unbelievable how this sim looks now. Absolutely!1 point

Will this window eventually be transparent or will it remain "painted" on? Other than that it looks AMAZING! I can't wait to get my hands on her! ...Now if only there was a code for user controlled window dimming...heck, thats X-Plane 22 Stuff!1 point

Calling something "stupid" while incorrectly using the word "to" when you clearly meant "two" does not exactly command respect for your post. It kind of makes the post look....well....stupid. Simply my opinion.1 point

Firstly, thanks to John. Those new screenshots look very nice! Screenshot two's clouds look nice and fluffy while the night lighting in screenshot three looks excellent. The last one still looks a bit patchy but of course I'm that isn't a final version. Plain Stupid? You may find it fun to be condescending over the internet but really? I have cloud draw distance set to maximum and I have cloud detail set to maximum. If this doesn't prove to be the most graphically appealing settings what is the point in having settings at all?1 point

How on earth can you compare the WIP shots to those that the original thread starter posted? I'm not even seeing a close resemblance... Read the forums and you'll quickly learn you are almost alone with that thought. Sounds like P3D or FS X is calling your name. Really though, Valentin. You have a pretty negative tone in almost all of your posts (no matter the subject) all the time. A change in your way of speaking would be a breath of fresh air.-1 points

I disagree. A very recent post especially proves my point. There's a difference between being almost always negative in all subjects of posts vs. doing what the original thread starter here did, which was genuinely be constructive...and it's welcomed. You continue to tread heavy on waters no matter how many times you have been informed to try and do otherwise. It's getting tiring, Valentin. Your posts here are just adding fuel to that fire, whether they are "constructive" here today or not. It's your entire history of posts that I'm more concerned about, and which then changes the perceived tone of your posts here. This is the kind of stuff I'm talking about. Negative and immature. Please, think a little harder given your past and circumstances before you post. I have a ton of patience for almost everyone here, but admittedly, you're on a shortlist at the moment, and it's only getting shorter... Thanks for taking it all in.-1 points
