Good don't give them a single dime. I was banned over there because they ignored my emails spaced several days apart asking for a tracking number so I could find out why my purchase was over a week and a half late. I posted in the forum complaining and on avsim and the jerk that runs the site removed my post ( I don't blame him for that) and then sent me a message with a warning saying that sales support questions are not to be posted in the forum... WELL... If they ignore the emails where the hell else am I supposed to go??? I sent this back as a response " wow not even a sorry that happened I will have sales contact you and then I said I would go to my bank on the next business day" After that I was banned and I only got my tracking number after emailing him again and still no apology for ignoring my earlier emails.. Horrible customer support, horrible store will never buy from them and I strongly suggest that developers sell on multiple sites because I will not buy anything that is only sold on the .org and I am sure many others feel the same way.2 points

File Name: Piaggio P.180 Avanti II (upgrade) File Submitter: airfighter File Submitted: 10 Jan 2013 File Category: General Aviation X-Plane Version(s): X-Plane 9 & 10 ATTENTION! VERSION 1.2.1 X-Plane 9 version have been added. VERSION 1.2 In this version are included the 3 fixes I have posted after v1.1 release (Mostly for X-Plane 10): -Landing light flickering. -A circle that appeared on FO PFD with HDR ON. -Added prefill object to improve frame rates (you should see improvement even up to 20%). Moreover, now when the aircraft is loaded, the displays are bright (HDR-ON). Also, in this version have been added realistic shadows to the panel when you turn on the cockpit light (the one below the AP panel). --------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------- Version 1.1 This version is more optimized for better performance of the low end machines. Features: Flight model within 10% of the real aircraft (as per manual) Autopilot operations as the real aircraft Many functions and screen indications are SASL driven X-Plane 10 64 bit full compatible Main landing gear object has added (was missing for XP10 in the previous version) Electronic checklist in MFD Real clock functions Engine indication turn red when limits exceeded UFMC and X-FMC config files are included. Those files have been adapted specially for this aircraft New 2-page checklist to be printed in a single sheet Updated Operating manual You can use now the condition levers and flap lever by mouse PAY ATTENTION: Use caution when using the throttles! As in the real aircraft, be advancing the throttles too full, torque limits can be exceeded by a lot! PLEASE: Any questions or problems post them to the forum for this aircraft. I'm visiting it daily so I can respond as quick as possible. At last, I want to THANK Tony Day, who, with his experience and work, helped me to make this aircraft as real as possible. ATTENTION TO ALL X-PLANE 10 USERS: When switching on the landing lights (LDG position), the lights might not come on, instead the will flicker. To fix that download the file below. https://www.dropbox.com/s/qac6wqsus2pwfl0/switches.lua.zip INSTALLATION: 1. Unzip the file. 2. Put the file to P180 Avanti II/Customs Avionics folder, and replace the previous file. 3. Go and test it. ---------------------------------------------------- After 7 months of work, finally is here! The Piaggio P.180 Avanti II. This is an upgrade of the original P.180 Avanti. Features:New full 3D glass cockpit with emulation of Proline 21 Avionics Suite. Most of the switches are operational Realistic cockpit lighting 170+ customs instruments Various operations driven by SASL scripts Compatibility with UFMC and X-FMC (config files are provided) Operating Manual Checklist It is designed for X-Plane 9, but it have been tested and performs very well in X-Plane 10 32-bit, with some minor issues. It is not recommended for X-Plane 10 64-bit. A detailed Operating Manual is provided. PLESE READ IT! Also, a standalone A5 size checklist is provided for printing. SPECIAL THANKS TO: Robert Pearson, for his permission to upgrade the P.180 Avanti (and the rest of the team, Massimo Durando and Sergio Santagada, for this beautiful aircraft) Vonhinx, for his help with SASL. Dan Klaue, his tutorials inspired me into creating aircraft for X-Plane, and now I creating aircrafts and I don't fly! (well, except testing!) My tools was Blender and Gimp. SUPPORT: At the forum: http://forums.x-pilot.com/index.php/topic/3467-piaggio-p180-avanti-ii-upgrade/ PLEASE: Before asking for support, READ THE MANUAL! KNOWN ISSUES:A "XFEED" annunciator, may indicate a problem with the plugin. By reloading the aircraft this is solved. In X-Plane 10, the rear legs of the landing gear are...transparent. This will be solved in the next release. In X-Plane 10, the cockpit during the night, with HDR OFF, is very bright. With HDR ON is ok. Since there is no available 64-bit SASL plugin, this aircraft will not work with 64-bit. FUTURE: At least one more version (1.1) will be released for X-Plane 9 and 10, solving any problems that will come up. A v 2.0 will be released later, when SASL 64-bit will be available and will have all the new features of the X-Plane 10. Click here to download this file1 point

So I've seen quite a few people post this question around many different forums (including ones from which I have been banned): What happened to G2XPL and where can I download it? In November, I uploaded a scenery file for KFCI on request of a friend in a Facebook group. The imagery was sourced from Google Maps and I had been too ignorant to read their Terms of Use prior to saving it. Within a day, I had received an non-capitalized grammatically incorrect message from your friend, Six7. The message went something like this: i guess google has changed their terms of use, moron. delete the file or u will be banned That wasn't very impressive. One thing I cannot stand, being an "A" English and a History student, is unprofessional presentation. If he had calmly explained it without an insult and with spell check activated, perhaps I would have returned respect. No way. I just deleted the file and sent him a message similar to the one that follows, after some inquiry as to the terms of service, of course presented in a very vulgar and rude way from Mr. Six7 (whose identity I later learned but will not disclose): I am not impressed with your lack of professional conduct. I have removed the scenery on your request, however I would like to inform you that there are other scenery files and tools utilizing Google Maps data and imagery. I also sent a message to Nicolas. Six7, one of your moderators, sent a rude and insulting message to me when I had mistakenly uploaded a file that violated legal terms. I would like you to please talk to him and request that he keep up a professional personality when he is dealing with such situations. You can only guess what happened next, I was permanently banned, IP and all. I can't even reset my router to get back on. That website has ceased to be from my point of view. Anyways, I tried to think of a far play that could get me back at them. I had already used a false identification as I had been banned before for asking about Mr. Chang and his wonderful work. I would have to be careful. They were two points ahead of me and I only had one potential point to gain. Then it dawned on me that I had downloaded a scenery tool that never worked for me because of its strange architecture but it was designed for the average X-Plane user to create his own orthoscenery: G2XPL. I proceeded to hunt down a friend of mine who was in law school and they said "just basically read the terms of use. If they are in violation of the terms of use, then they can be sued. If they are providing a tool which is in violation of the terms of use, they can be sued." Wow. It's that easy. I proceeded to create a three page document outlining the terms of use of Bing Maps, Google Maps, Yahoo Maps, even MapQuest (although I pity the fool...) and created long interpretations that could not be misinterpreted. Fortunately, of all events in this situation, I saved this email that I sent to the administrators at X-Plane.org and XPFW, as they are almost all the same people. *************** To all administrators of X-Plane.org, Forums.X-Plane.org, and related sites: This is a notification of possibly illegal software available from your site. I was recently made aware of a certain "G2XPL" addon available on the X-Plane.org forums. This file is completely illegal. If no action is taken to remove it from the website I will report it for violation of copyright and terms of use of Google, subsidiaries and many other organizations. The add-on accesses, uses, and shows Google Earth/Maps imagery without visible attribution being present at all times. http://www.google.com/permissions/geoguidelines.html The add-on accesses, uses, and shows, and under certain circumstances saves Google Earth/Maps imagery without written documentation from Google, Inc. stating that they have explicit permission for use of all imagery available through the Google servers. This is a direct violation of Google Maps Terms of Use, Section 2, Part A through Part F. http://www.google.com/intl/en_ALL/help/terms_maps.html All of the above statement(s) are in direct violation of Google Maps Terms of Use, Section 3, Part C, Part E (in result of all other infringements), Part I (directly quoted; "[Any party is prohibited to] use any robot, spider, site search/retrieval application, or other device to retrieve or index any portion of the Google services or Content, or collect information about users for any unauthorized purpose", as there is no legal documentation of permission having been given to the creator of Gmaps to X-Plane.Please consider this very carefully. I expect to receive documentation of permission from Google, Inc. immediately. It may be sent to this email address. Otherwise, I will attempt to contact as many of the organizations that could be at risk in this situation and raise their awareness of the illegal activity on the website. I was banned from the forums for posting of "illegal" files. Therefore, this file should be removed with the same intention and the user who created it should be banned. I am doing my duty to the law and attempting to reduce piracy and illegal action due to my realization of my ignorant activities. Yours respectfully, Colin J. S. A copy of this email has been sent to many other X-Plane related websites. *************** The G2XPL addon was immediately pulled from the website. I cannot quote from the email I received in reply as it was lost in a clearout of my inbox, however he said something along the lines of what follows: look kid, knock it off. if you dont leave us alone well take your parents to court. we have their contact information He proceeded to provide faulty information that he obviously got from a 5 minute search on 411.ca. Here ends the story of how G2XPL ceased to be. In case you thought I was just some kid who is learning how to build scenery and loves every bit of it, yep, you're right. I also professionally pissed off Mr. Taureau, and with founded causes. Hope you now understand a bit more, now I sit here waiting for hate messages to roll into my inbox...1 point

Now this is what I call funny! I can't stop laughing every-time is see the picture of this guy (moron, idiot, @ss,... you choose really how you wanna call him) ducked-taped in his seat. I can't believe this guy (moron, idiot, @ss,... you choose really how you wanna call him) tried to chock somebody and then decided to go on spiting rampage! "Unruly passengers are an unfortunate reality of air travel—but we've never seen one dealt with so efficiently and effectively! According to a Port Authority spokesman, an "apparently intoxicated" man who was acting "in a disorderly fashion" was restrained by passengers and crew members on an Icelandair flight from Reykjavik, Iceland to JFK on Thursday afternoon. But after a few pieces of duct tape and some well-positioned plastic ties, everyone on-board was apparently able to relax and go back to enjoying City Of Angels." What boggles my mind is how ONE PERSON and ONE WEBSITE can have such an influence on a product like XP especially when that website is not "officially affiliated" with Laminar Research. This is why competition is good and I really wish we had many more vendors available, like for the FSX market. Seems like .org is running a monopoly and as such, he assumes the I'm the only player in town so you put up with me or your banned attitude. Really sucks having to endure such narcissistic attitudes when dealing with a commercial entity. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 21 point
