  1. Spad has a 14 day free trial, so you can give it a try to see if it would be useful for you, I already use the recommended CL650/pedestal/gear/nws_value for the nose wheel steering with a switch on my Warthog. Saitek support is just a small fraction of what Spad.neXt can do these days. I only have one FIP and a Radio Panel, there are 11 other pieces of hardware assigned through Spad in my Cockpit.
  2. X-Camera won’t allow you to click anything outside the 650, you need to disable it and use the 650 provided walk mode which is navigable with the WASD keys.
  3. Looking at the graph in that thread -47C is showing about 89-90 N2 so you seem to be doing better than expected.
  4. See the sticky post at the top of this forum, I think this will be why.
  5. Switch X-Plane to windowed mode for a few moments then switch back to fullscreen sim again and that should fix the broken panes. It’s a bug that has been around for a while in X-Plane itself, it happens with all aircraft.
  6. The only ignorance in here was shown by you Ben. Chill out!! Tim was trying to help a fellow user and prove that Gizmo wasn’t the cause of his issues, perhaps practice what you preach and try and comprehend what people mean.
  7. Press the TO button on the end of the throttle handles.
  8. I have HDR enabled and the above person is correct the Nose light does not cast light.
  9. Yes you missed something, it's not auto reverse thrust, you have to move the reverse throttle levers to activate reverse thrust, but you also have to arm them, otherwise they wont deploy. It's the ground spoilers that auto deploy as long as the switch is not in the disarm position.
  10. Yeah but is your sim date and time two days later as well? If it’s the same date and time as when the state was saved then that’s likely correct.
  11. At the back of the pedestal labelled INTEG that is back lighting, FLOOD is front lighting.
  12. But it does work on all sims, just because you chose to use a Mac or Linux doesn't change the fact that it does work on xplane, just not your version. It doesn't work on the iOS version either for obvious reasons but it still does not change the fact that is does work on FSX, P3D all editions, MSFS, Xplane 10, 11, 12 and more into the future most likely. And if you are going to quote me at least don't make it up to fit your own agenda, I never mentioned anything about systems, is said "All mainstream flight sims and some other games too".
  13. You are in SPEED mode which is indicated by the blue marker on the speed tape and SPEED in the ATS display, it’s also only set to 127knots. The ATS display should show N1-TO if you were in the correct mode. edit I’m too slow too lol
  14. Shows you what you know, it works perfectly in All mainstream flight sims and some other games too. I’ve been using it in Xplane for a couple of years now without issue. If you have a problems or concerns why not contact the developer directly rather than defaming them without evidence.
  15. Oh excellent idea Tim, I’d love to do this rather than having to reach for my keyboard.
  16. Spad.next works well in XPlane and will have the Saitek radios and display working in a jiffy. You do have to remove the default software and drivers for it to work properly though. Not affiliated with Spad by the way, just a very happy user.
  17. If you don’t want to mess around writing Lua scripts anymore another option is to buy Spad.neXt, you can do this type of advanced stuff without having to write a single bit of code yourself. It’s especially useful if you have Saitek Switch panels and such and want to do more than the default XPlane interface will allow. It would go very well with the Warthog too much much easier than using the TARGET software from Thrustmaster.
  18. Open the P2ATC config menu and select ignore aircraft power state option, or words to that effect.
  19. Whatever you do don’t waste time watching Saso last stream to see how he does it, he skips the test, grrrr, :p
  20. Move the Field Of View slider until you are happy with the view, it’s just at the bottom of your screenshot where it says field of view.
  21. It certainly doesn't have a lot going for it that mode, I mean you cant even change from lbs to Kgs, I mean come on how hard is it to give us an option to change that.
  22. Why does the none persistent mode not have an in flight auto-save facility? The sim crashes just as much in that mode as it does in persistent mode, so it’s needed there too.
  23. Because I've been doing it with every other aircraft for X-plane since ASXP came out. I'm sorry but I don't see why I need to explain my reasons to a random person on the internet. Life is too short. Besides you answered you own question pretty much already, lol.
