  1. So it's not ok for us to assume but it's ok for you to assume and throw around things like "You folks need to do better than this. " Walk the talk, man. I'll do better. I'll spend some time and figure out how to detect and block old operating systems so you get a hard error instead of a series of support time wasting errors that are harder to diagnose.
  2. No. Sorry.
  3. What do you mean "manually" ? What are you trying to do?
  4. Your log file is full of this message: "1:53:54.175 E/NET: Socket write of 149 bytes returned 64" These messages are generated by X-Plane. I don't know why you have the X-Plane networking configured or why it's generating megabytes of useless noise. To turn it off: Open X-Plane Go to the top right corner of the window and select the Settings Icon. Go to the Network tab. In the bottom left corner of the Settings Window click the "Reset Networking Configuration" button. Accept the changes by clicking "Reset All Networking Configation" Click Done in the bottom right of the Settings Window. The actions above should stop X-Plane filling your Log.txt with useless messages which will in turn raise your FPS and may solve your issue.
  5. The root cause is the TBM plugin not falling back to the old OpenGL calls. The TBM now _requires_ X-Plane 11.50+ There may also be other code in the TBM that also requires 11.50+
  6. You need to update to X-Plane 11.50+ The dataref causing the issue was introduced in 11.50 and gives us better drawing speed and higher FPS because there's less GPU-driver-stall.
  7. It's not me... Looks more like it's this: Script to Turn On/Off a plugin based on time - Page 2 - FlyWithLua - X-Plane.Org Forum (x-plane.org)
  8. Alway best if you post the complete log file not just the part you think is important. I have no idea what's writing those messages but I might have been able to figure it out given the complete file.
  9. Try this: Update and VR ? - TBM 900 - X-Pilot (x-pilot.com)
  10. Shouldn't take more than a week to add support for them then?
  11. No one on the forums has access to the purchase records or DRM systems. You must file a support request here: https://www.x-aviation.com/catalog/contact_us.php
  12. Install a fresh demo copy of X-Plane and then install ONLY the TBM into that and see what happens.
  13. Remove: Loaded: F:\X-plane/X-plane_Steam/steamapps/common/X-Plane 11/Resources/plugins/SAM/win_x64/SAM.xpl (stairportsceneries.plugin.aos). It's breaking the multi threading rules and likely causing all sorts of havoc.
  14. More data would be useful. Seeing as you're looking at the microprofiler, how about some numbers comparing the two different Gizmo versions. The statements you've made above are mixed and not very useful. First you complain about Gizmo-beta running slower and then you compare the TBM systems loads, leading us nowhere. The changes I see locally are minimal.
  15. Gizmo has nothing to do with the rain effect. It should have a very minimal load on your system while running the TBM.
  16. Gizmo is failing to load. I _might_ be able to fix this for the next release, but no promises. You're on macOS 10.13 which is aging and Apple does it's best to make it hard to compile for older systems. I'm compiling for macOS from an M1 machine so everything is shiny and new and not always straight forward when building for intel cpus. For now, don't use the Gizmo beta...
  17. You do realize just how many different permutations of hardware there are, right? How much value do you think it would add if we listed supported platforms as those constrained to the dev machines configs only. How many people do you think would actually read it?
  18. Try disabling this: [SKUNKCRAFTS UPDATER INFO]: Starting X-Plane SASL plugin v3.11.0+77d2ef9 [Commercial Edition] [SKUNKCRAFTS UPDATER INFO]: SkunkCrafts Updater | Global | Start Full [SKUNKCRAFTS UPDATER INFO]: Loading cursors... Loaded: E:\X-Plane 11/Resources/plugins/SkunkCraftsUpdater/64/win.xpl (1-sim SkunkCrafts Updater). I'll see what I can do to resolve this for the next Gizmo release so you don't have to.
  19. You're going to need to wait for a response from the official X-A support channel. Only they have access to purchase and machine ownership records. Reponses could be delayed at the moment due to the SkyMAXX release over the weekend. @Cameron
  20. Can't help without complete log files. Log.txt and gizmolog.txt
  21. Datarefs will display in both DRE and Dataref Tool with the next release of Gizmo...
  22. "better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt" Use a real password manager. I did some reading up on the windows credential manager, it has a very mixed reputation. Do not recommend. There seem to be several trivial ways for a trusted process/app to dump its content in plain text.
  23. Starting multiple threads is not helpful. This is your third for the same question..
  24. As you haven't provided any details, I'm guessing you're using a third party plugin to connect your saitek panels (exactly which panels you're using you also didn't bother to detail) .... The problem of support and connectivity is likely in the hands of the third party saitek connection plugin which will probably need updates to work with the TBM. This is all just a pointless free educated guess though... which is the only option you left me.
