EDIT: A temporary HotFix downloader is located here. Hi Folks, We had an unexpected situation which caused us to take down the server for analysis and re-configuring. Because this was not planned, it was very abrupt and we were unable to communicate this as a planned maintenance session. We are taking this downtime as a great opportunity to make some other updates on the HotFix system itself, so I don't have an exact time as to when this will be back online. That said, I am currently programming a new solution for everyone as a temporary "fix" so you may still update to 1.0.7. This will be out shortly today (USA time). Apologies for the experience, but sometimes things happen that don't always go as planned. We're on it though, and we appreciate all of you for your patience!

Captains, While the HotFix server is temporarily down, I have created a temporary installer solution which will update your current 737 to 1.0.7. Simply download and run the installer included in the zip. Click here to download. Thank you for your patience today as we worked through some things. Hopefully this helps to heal some of the waiting that's gone on!

Captains, X-Aviation and IXEG are pleased to provide you a free update to version 1.0.7 of the IXEG 737 Classic! Typically we don't make a habit of doing updates like this back to back, but due to an accidental transmission of slightly out of date files from the IXEG team to X-Aviation we are having to issue this "emergency" 1.0.7 HotFix. We do apologize for any inconvenience! Just like with our previous update, we will use the HotFix upgrade system here. Rather than going and re-downloading an entire aircraft package, or having to go through a full re-install process, we will be offering more immediate code changes through this delivery method. In short, it's quick, easy, and kind of fun! Please read below how to install this update! Version 1.0.6 was released yesterday and was pretty important. 1.0.7 retains everything 1.0.6 had in it, so no need to obtain 1.0.6 if you didn't previously apply the HotFix ID for it! But first, here's what's in it... Version 1.0.7 introduces the following fixes: Fix to "climb page soft crash" Fix to some DCT points disappearing on RTE page Fix to VNAV profiles going over the mach switchover altitude, where you would get UNABLE cruise message To upgrade your aircraft to version 1.0.7 please follow the below steps: Open X-Plane and the 737 Classic as your aircraft In the X-Plane menu bar at top, select Plugins > Gizmo64 > Windows > HotFix You will be asked to enter in your HotFix ID. Absolutely with you "Cameron". 737-IXEG is, obviously, the best development applied to X-Plane. There was only one misstep. No doubt that drivers are backed by responsible people. It only remains to wait a short time and everything will be better. Congratulations.

Hey Tom, yea, this is something that we need to fix, but is a pardigm shift with what we current have in place. The real aircraft use a method called, "step integration" in order to calculate route profiles and accurate predictions on this level require access to reams of aircraft data that we don't have access to. We use a 'approximated' route, that only considers straight lines between the waypoints for most calculations, BUT we draw the symbols on the magenta because they look funny when they're not on the route (as sometimes happens). I do want to move all the calculations to be relative to the magenta route, but that requires a modified data structure that I have to integrate into refactored code......BUT when we do, that is when I really expect things to start getting better. -tkyler

Hi, there is no non-normal procedure for that. It is very rare, fortunately, but what has happened is that the battery charger failed, the battery drained and the planes generators dropped offline. Fortunately the weather was good (not even standby power)... Jan

I'm also getting an arror when trying to apply the hotfix 1.0.7

FlyWithLua Error: The DataRef "sim/private/controls/skyc/sky_imm_end" does not exist. this line means to me you installed xplane 10.50beta isn't it? which is not supported by lua by the way

XP beta's are always a gamble, although we appreciate you testing the aircraft in XP beta's, unless there is some obvious problems, it might be a good idea waiting until the release candidates, before reporting bugs in 10.50

Correct, that is a much more challenging calculation than simply the next waypoint or so where the speed / fuel flow is generally constant in that regime. Predicting fuel at destination means evaluating multiple speeds / altitudes well far ahead of the aircraft on a waypoint by waypoint basis. Its much more than just a number in a field less than the previous field and we want to implement it as best we can. PROG is a work in progress and is front and center on our plate! -tkyler

I have not seen anything like this since I started flight simming in 1995. Nothing comes close (I know what I am taking about )! The combination X-Plane with IXEG 737-300… Makes me smile every time I use the combo. And THE SUPPORT! Thank you so much!!!

Just to be crystal clear, I was talking exclusively about the video posted. The database limitation, and current performance of the FMS on IXEG's 737 is completely fine for me!
