  1. I found it works for me to use the classic version with the original Sperry and VOR to VOR navigation. The aircraft will make snake patterns in the sky and needs constant monitoring and fiddling of the Sperry to maintain VOR heading. Furthermore, each variant/livery must be as per loaded saved and activated in advance. ' This plane is full hands on and reflects the mastery of those pilots of old days. I managed twice to ditch it in the sea (due to fuel empty) and once a nose down crash landing.( for some reason my flaps wouldn't extend.) Probably the hydraulic levers. but the wheels did extend. Anyway, it is challenging. You can't do two things at once and that mistake may be fatal. My scroll wheel zooming seems not to work well or delayed. I think this is a XP12 issue that I have noticed with other add on aircraft as well.

  4. The plane is so authentic that you can use the real world manuals. You can find them online.

  5. Hey there. I did some googling on this and it seems the only fix people have found is to reboot your computer. Really perplexed. Some folks have also suggested this may be due to some overactive antivirus/anti-malware triggering false positives, or in general screwing things up in the app. Wish I could do more, but I suspect a reboot might be your only workaround here.

  7. I assume you mean a command to "move the landing gear lever to the OFF position"? ...to bind to hardware or a keystroke? I've added this in, using the default X-Plane command you mentioned. -tk

  10. Hi Daniel. there is some variation between airlines, but most common use for takeoff would be: 1st bug to 80kts, second bug to V1, third bug Vr, set speed cursor to V2, fourth bug to V2+15 (this is the speed that is minimum for going over 15 deg bank), fifth bug to 170 (for flaps 5 and 15 takeoffs), this is the speed to retract 5 to 1. For landing we set 1st bug to Vref, speed cursor to target speed, second bug to Vref + 15 (min speed for going over 15 deg bank) and i often set another bug right next to the second one if planning a flaps40 approach (as a reminder). Cheers, Jan
