  1. Hi Jean, I can see the usefulness of this - I will file a feature request and see if Tom can add this in a future update! Cheers, Jan

  3. I usually check the profile before I fly - yes, it always shows my IXEG profile, no problem. Seems all is OK now, apart from that major issue of the a/c rolling over after takeoff - that's a separate thread of course. The A/T seems fine now that I have watched the videos and am more accurate in what I do!

  4. What a wonderful aircraft the TBM-900 is! Despite the fact that I cartwheeled end over end multiple times on landing, its a blast to fly and I love the realism aspects of it. Definitely wish you had an option to start engines hot so I could load 10 miles out from a landing, but once I figured out where I could short-cut alot of the checklist stuff, I could load a new airframe then get powered up and in the air pretty quick. From there it was just a matter of activating my approach from the previous setting and then getting to altitude and heading for intercept. Finally stuck the landing on try #4. Hitting the ground isn't the problem, its staying in a straight line as soon as I do (have the same trouble on take off to be honest....) long enough to get reverse thrust applied and start slowing down. Cheers!

  5. Anxu, just to compliment the inquiry, I have a Rift S and use the touch controllers, all work fine with the SR and a tremendous experience. You can't go wrong with these birds.

  6. Goran, I've been flying the HotStart TBM for ages now and she's a beast!! I can confirm that of the 5 airports I've visited in the last 24Hrs (TBM was parked for a while) there was no Localiser for any ILS. Xplane version 11.50 Navigraph Data 2012. I've got a few hundred hours in your TBM and I'd be very happy to help with beta testing any updates. Keep up the great work guys and yes some of us here understand just how long updates can take especially on an ever evolving platform.

  7. I do like the TBM900 (like to own one!) but there are a few fixes it needs. Yes the localiser issue should be fixed after 4 months, but I would like the cockpit better lit. Scrolling around and zooming right in to find the vertical speed wheel and those tiny autopilot buttons is such an annoyance. That whole overhead panel needs some lighting work. These companies have no issue in taking the money, with that comes the responsibility of fixing bugs and asked for improvements. (does any one else find it hard to land without bouncing??)

  8. Hi, do you still need a way to use an axis? I can give you my FlyWithLua script, which allows me to use an axis for c/o - low idle - high idle - flight idle. If you need it, I can also give you my script for the flap settings, so you can use a button for each position and nou just up/down a notch.

  9. Greetings, just struggled with this myself. Had to refer to a variety of resources. The Ringler video was one that helped. Key is to enter the VNAV values you want. You must hit the VNAV button on the autopilot and select a lower altitude within 5 minutes before you reach the TOD point on your GPS course line. I read that a minute before is best. After engaging VNAV and dialing in a lower altitude, deselect the altitude button and watch your display. When the aircraft symbol reaches the TOD (top of descent) symbol, represented by a small circle on your course line, the aircraft should descend until it reaches the BOD (bottom of descent) symbol (another small circle) on the course line and at that point you will level off at whatever altitude value you set in the VNAV profile. It’s pretty cool feature once you understand how to use it. It took me awhile. If you need more help don’t be afraid to reach out.
