  1. Thanks Jan for taking the time to explain that to me! Hugely appreciated! I'm going to give it a run a few times until I'm confident in my calculations and then maybe put together an app or spreadsheet that will give read outs in the ball park.

  2. Not currently, but I will let you know if we need anything @wired521 Thanks!

  3. Yes, I have an issue in our gitHub for enhancing this... we may be able to do this on the avitab, for example. Cheers, Jan

  4. Kennair You need to assign the xp11 reverse switch to a button (I use the RH controller middle finger trigger). When that switch is activated, the throttle ‘axis’ of the RH controller changes into reverse axis. Now, move your RH controller forward (!) as if you’d give full thrust and the reverse will move backwards. A bit weird but it works like a charm.

  5. Thanks, Ken! I personally believe that VR will be the future for flight simulation. Yes, current headsets and manipulation methods are still not there 100% - but its already incredible! We will keep our aircraft abreast that development - I have just recently tweaked the sensitivity of the kHz twist knobs since we implemented 8.3kHz spacing and we increased the "grab area" for both throttles - and am always listening for feedback. Cheers, Jan

  8. Hello There is no documentation provided by AFM with the Mooney M20TN Acclaim. You can find the POH for the M20TN here: http://www.avsoft.com.au/ext/m20tnpoh.pdf I reproduced for use its performance chart: -------- And the PDF file: Performance_chart.pdf

  9. We're not interested in anyone else's opinion about which sim is the "best" one. This isn't reddit. You deserve to have your opinion respected about which sim is right for YOU. And you deserve to enjoy whatever you want to enjoy, without argument. Exactly the same way that every single one of us, flight simmers and developers, deserves to be respected for which sim right for US. No matter if it's X-Plane, FS2020, Aerofly, DCS or Flight Gear. Screaming "X-Plane will die..." is so counter-productive, it's a joke. It only discourages more of us from even considering trying FS2020. It also discourages X-Plane developers from making add ons for FS2020. Enjoy your sim! No one is stopping you. Let the X-Plane community enjoy X-Plane.

  10. It's not even close to being a thought on the radar for right now. We have many projects going on, and X-Plane is still a very viable platform. Wherever your simming takes you, if it's MSFS 2020, I hope you enjoy!

  11. As a real TBM pilot, this is the single most critical element of a good simulator. It has caused the most TBM accidents as per this report: https://www.bea.aero/uploads/tx_scalaetudessecurite/loss.of.control.on.fast.single.engine.turboprop.aircraft.en_04.pdf Removing P-Factor and delayed spool time of the turbine from idle will potentially mean TBM pilots should not use the simulator. May I please ask that the delayed pool and torque effects are correctly modelled as I do need them for practise? p.s. how it is possible to also model the delayed spool time and correctly when the p-factor kicks in?

  12. Thrustreverser in VR TIP: What works like a charm for me is selecting the throttles with the RH controller (keeping the trigger engaged). Btw Ixeg, thank you for the dual throttle linkage. Going to idle is moving your RH controller fully aft (@IXEG a nice idle stop sound would be great to confirm that). Having the RH grip switch assigned to reverse toggle, I trigger that switch while still having my RH full aft. No need to hold grip switch, just a single press. Now moving RH forward increases reverse. Back to idle, press the grip once switch again and throttle control is normal again. It's very handy and fluid move on landing without hassle and without other hardware. @IXEG, I'd really love an idle-stop sound (or controller vibration), as in VR you don't look at the throttle state at that point and there is no tactile feedback.

  13. Msfs is better than xplane 11.5 i. So manu ways that i call tell about all the day. All it needs is paywares airplanes. I'm with those guy up. Happy to pay 100$ for a tbm900 or a inprovement of 930 by hotstart. I probably will use xplane once a year to give a hug in my tbm900 if this dont happened. But certainly x-plane will be dead soon
