Version 1.0.0
104 downloads
For those pesky Pocket Rocket screens that seem to never stay clean I present you with "No Smudges!" Guaranteed to leave your glass displays as clean as shimmering mermaid. Installation: This download contains new G1000 smudgeless textures. It removes the fingerprints, hand oil and dust from the G1000 screens. Backup your G1kscreenalph.png & G1kscreenalph_NML.png which are located inside your Pocket Rocket's object folder... Once you have those two files saved somewhere else drag and drop the two replacement textures from the zip into the aircraft's object folder and overwrite the old files If it asks you.2 points -
These are harmless. It's just the navaid parsing code complaining about some formatting errors in the navaid files, but these can be safely ignored. They have nothing whatsoever to do with any crashes you might have experienced.1 point

Hi @Goran_M, Not sure if you just missed it or if they're the wrong files but @JackSwyr appears to have provided some logs above. Kind regards, BT1 point

Hi JackSwyr, I'll be honest I hold Hot Start in high regard they have been relentless in their pursuit of perfection for this addon. That said they rightly tend to focus on the more disruptive issues like the CTD you're experiencing over quality of life issues like entering values in to the FMS. So whilst this issue might take a little longer to fix I suspect you'll see your CTD issue fixed quite quickly but you may need to work with them providing logs, removing other add-ons etc as requested. Please don't give up on this add-on you'll be missing out. Kind regards, BT1 point

Hi JackSwyr, I think we may have very similar issues see below. BKSP for me was a bit unreliable but your experience may differ. One thing I've found that always seems to work is to rotate the outer FMS knob backwards before starting to type on the keypad. Kind regards, BT1 point

Thanks for the patch! There's still a slight issue with the latest version (v1.0.1) (I'm using XP 11.32r2): if I deselect the topo display on the map page, the BACK button is changed to the CHKLIST button. It's possible to change the cluttering level and then remove the topo layer but when using the outer knob to change pages it gets stuck on the NRST page. Switching the avionics off and back on can help but doesn't fix the NRST issue (stuck unless holding down the CLR button). (the LCD effect is a really nice touch btw )1 point

Hi, I don't know if these are already fixed internally: - rectangle visible through the canopy/roof model (with "marching ants" effect): - SD card slots interior part can be brighter than it should, depending on the lighting conditions:1 point

It's due to the huge amounts of hardware out there. Some hardware works with your current settings. Could be the firmware. Could be the actual hardware configuration settings (I have a Saitek X52, and it has a ton of customizable settings in it's own software). It's all about personal preference. It can be seen as somewhat of an inconvenience, but it's definitely there for a reason.1 point

No hardward updates. But I am glad that the tbm 900 updates aren't the ones causing this issue. It has been awhile since it has happened. Except for tonight with the FFa320. But now I remember, that I updated it and forgot. So when I went to fly it, it asked me for my activation. it hadn't in the past just doing and update. Who knows. So it is probably something else going on. Thank you for your quick response. I will just document now when it happends. In the past it was mainly with Carenado aircraft. I just wanted to eliminate from possibly being one of the issues. I also updated my x-plane install so many times that it might be a good idea just to do a complete fresh install. Once again thank you for your response. I really appreciate the addons and when developers listen, provide help, and frequently update their aircraft, it's a good thing.1 point

Hi, have a look at the topics below w.r.t ground handling whilst taking off and landing. I also struggled a lot (to the point of giving up ) and the only way to overcome this is with a bit of practice. And making sure that your rudder is properly configured. Start out with no wind and just practice some run-ups on a long runway. You'll get the hang off it.1 point

Need the log.txt from the root X-Plane folder after the CTD1 point

Should not require Avitab, but because of my fault it does, which will be fixed soon. Also I will add the needle on the PFD too.1 point

I always looked forward to reading documentation when I bought a new game or add on.1 point

Have you ever sent us a log file? A lot of the time, it’s a conflict with another plugin. We’d love to help you, but can’t if you don’t help us with more information.1 point

I think it is time, to thank the whole IXEG Team! This product is now out since 2016. It was a long way from the first pictures on their website in 2010 (I think) until release in 2016. It´s still a long way to go. Some are waiting for a -400, a -500 or a cargo version. Some are waiting for a fully analog cockpit, and some are waiting for airstairs. I want to emphasize some things which make this team great! They are in direct contact with us all the time through this forum. They help us out, no matter what the problem is or what time it is. An answer can be expected within 24 hrs most of the time. They spent a part of their spare time to work on updates, probably spending tons of money on coffee, to make a great product even greater. They are very open to all kinds of feature suggestions, no matter how complicated or nitpicky they are. *caughing* They are honest about the few flaws the product has (for exaple the dreaded VNAV code ) I think I speak in the name of a few more people i f I say: Thank you for your all efforts and probably a few sleepless nights! Thank you for all your support! Thank you for all the time spent to make the IXEG 737-300 what it is and what it will become! Thank you for dealing with all the difficulties of the everchanging X-Plane system! (flight models, Vulcan, ect.) Thank you for [ please insert whatever you want to thank them for ] If I missed something (I´m sure I did) please forgive me.1 point

Hi, There may be an issue with the alpha keys being interpreted as numeric on the MFD keypad under certain circumstances. Steps to reproduce 1. Battery on 2. Enter on the MFD 3. Direct button on the MFD key pad 4. If I select "A" for the first digit I get a numeric "1", "B" a numeric "2" and so on up to "I". Once you get to the "J" key you get "A" but after that things get a little less predictable. From what I've seen so far this only seems to affect the first digit of a waypoint. Work around cursor back with the outer FMS knob and overwrite. Regards Reproduced with the TBM 900 v1.1.4b1 point
