  1. I don´t have the FF320, but what I have seen in the videos is absolutely amazing. I fly the A320 family in real life (for 5 years now) and I haven´t seen anything "wrong" in those videos. I can´t comment on the flight-model, but it is certainly a day-one-buy for me! Thanks for the kind words about our 737 - I can assure you that work is ongoing. Just yesterday we have fixed a bug about the pressurization - now it won´t be possible to pressurize the aircraft if any of the cargo doors is open. And of course - if a cargo door pops open in flight (failure simulation some day...) -> rapid decompression. Also fixed the cargo door compartment only being lit if the ground service bus is carrying power... Cheers, Jan

  2. C'mon Jan, just give us some hope, I'm sure you can do it before the end of a week!

  4. I'm happy that you like it! It would be perfect if IXEG would add their own command to show/hide mini-EHSI (as it is, we will as for dragging and resizing later ). I'm pretty sure that it is easly doable with probably few "if" statements in the code. My script is just a quick workaround, it constanty and slightly changes the display brightness which triggers the popup. It may have performance impact (however, I didn't observe any). I don't get immersion killing argument for pop-ups. No one is forced to use such feature. I would love to have FMC popup (much more than ND and PFD). We have an idea for external and platform independend FMC (plugin) for IXEG, but it is currently at proof of concept state. Not sure if it will ever materialize. Adam

  5. Hehe, I am not going to come after you if you do something like this . We are certainly not discouraging any modding and tweaking to your own desire, just don´t ask for support when something goes wrong. Cheers, Jan

  6. Hi Tom, thanks for your kind words and the feedback. All of those things mentioned we are aware off and are planning to add/enhance them in the future. Personal preference varies from user to user, but few things are set in stone and we are always tweaking. Especially the sounds will one day get a complete overhaul when we transition to FMOD - whenever that may be. Cheers, Jan

  7. I have both the IXEG and FFF320 and they are my top two payware aircraft in X-Plane. I dare not compare them because they are two different beasts entirely in orverall feel and flight dynamics. The FFA320 feels new and fairly quiet and the IXEG squeaks and groans like an old classic bird and I love that. Both are very well done. Keep up the great work IXEG team.

  9. Yes, I totally agree with @foobar The IXEG is the best aircraft add-on for X-Plane, the level of details is amazing and the flight simulation is at the top. In my opinion there isn't any comparison with the others good add-on like A320 JAR, A320FF or B737-800 Zibo mod.. I wish to the IXEG team long life and good news about their wonderful project. I will wait with a lot of patience the next patch, hoping to have also the doors opening....

  10. Hi Javier, yes, this discrepancy is due to the missing reflections - they will be added in 1.21. Note - however - that the reflections in XP10 were a custom solution with a fixed "reflection image map". The reflections in XP11 are real reflections, so the effect will vary. Cheers, Jan

  11. Hi. Are WIP the cockpit panels? I've noticed that they look awesome on xp10 but in xp11 they look flat. Thanks

  12. As a flightsimmer for many (some say too many - ProLogic days) years, I would only say that if it were possible to go to your computer and order an aircraft (any aircraft - not just IXEG) and it would suddenly download at your local airport (the real aircraft), the criticism would start to materialize within an hour of the time the purchaser entered the aircraft. I think the work of this team and many others goes above and beyond. Yes, there are some who have produced and sold junk - we have all bought some of that - but, most of the vendors have given us value and that certainly applies to Cameron and team. Thanks guys. I, for one, appreciate your headaches and will enjoy whatever you give us ... whenever that happens ... and until then, am thoroughly enjoying the current version. John

  13. Happy New Year to you too gmargodt! Very happy to hear that the aircraft brightens your day a bit! Over the years I've found that this hobby is a great way to escape from what reality throws at you sometimes, and I've seen it has helped other designer friends get through difficult personal times in the past. Hang in there, and and best wishes that 2018 will be a better year for you with more blue sky! M

  14. Happy New Year to all of you. I enjoy the IXEG daily (I have a severe illness for almost 2 years). Thanks for making my painful days a bit easier. Cheers to all of you !

  15. As soon as they release the next update I’ll have a look and see what’s new with this aircraft. Like I stated before on the whole VNAV situation I still don’t get it. It sounds like they need some cash and time and I understand. I could totally see the developers not having simulated failures and other things but VNAV is usually part of the package at release. Not going to beat a dead horse over this issue. I really thought this update would’ve been released by now. looking forward to what has been added Kind regards

  18. I guess some of us are a little worried that your marvel of a sim aircraft is not being further developed due to loss of interest, moving on to different projects, lack of customers/a lot of people fly the zibo mod these days, etc. I personally hope you guys keep on working on this plane a little more because those who have some real world flying experience highly appreciate the excellent flight model and the many other accurately simulated systems of this aircraft, plus all the small details like the eyebrow windows, amazing looking cockpit, cargo doors, GPU, etc. All those things are unmatched of any other B737 currently available for x plane. It's the only Boeing I really enjoy flying in x plane. It is of course none of my business on how you should run your business, but I still would like to leave my thoughts here. If you'd lower the price some and put out updates a little more frequently, you would make even more money, especially in times where the zibo mod gains more and more attention. I tried the zibo mod and wasn't thrilled at all by it. The flight model of it is just horrible. Many people seem not to care or don't know any better. I guess they just like that it's a -800 with less scary and complicated looking analog instruments and more iPad like LCD screens lol. It's still incredible what this guy does though.

  19. Some might find it entertaining, this joking about what week/year the next patch will be released. I personally am quite ticked off. Paid $75 for the -300, (25/04/16) got 2 friends to buy it as well. Most I ever paid for an add-on. And while the plane itself looks quite good and I feel right at home in it. (I fly it) The FMC is nowhere to being really useable. Adding fixes, restrictions, holdings.. Nothing works. So please get back to making this a $75 worth of add-on.

  20. Trust me, if you fly real passengers around you sometimes start wishing for a plane that has no doors! Cheers, Jan

  21. I hope for next release something more about the cabin doors opening. This is the only aircraft where it isn't possibile to load passengers because the doors are always closed...[emoji4] Inviato dal mio SM-G900F utilizzando Tapatalk

  22. I too look forward to 1.21. I'm hoping the taxi and landing lights are going to be a little brighter. I recently purchased this plane and it's already my favorite. The excellent/ very realistic flight model makes it a real joy to fly for me. I couldn't believe how well CWS mode works. This plane is a marvel in my opinion.

  23. There is no flap sound audible on the real 737 - the hydraulic (and back-up electric) motor that drives the flaps is housed inside the main wheel well, where its sound is totally droned out by the din of the electrically driven hydraulic pumps. In theory you could turn them off and try to drive the flaps with the electric motor (alternate flaps mode) on the ground, but I never tried this (and stood in the gear well), so I can´t say how loud the motor really is. The default 737-800 models flap sound, but that is totally unrealistic. Jan

  24. Most flights with an airliner in controlled airspace in the real world are not going to use VNAV for descent. The controllers will typically tell you to do things rather than the computer automatically follow. Jan will even tell you as a real world captain that VNAV in his flights isn't something they typically do. More like black magic than a for certain button. You're really missing out on something special if you decide not to purchase, but everyone has their "needs". I think the responses in this topic alone show you how much people love it.
