  1. Hi guys (and girls?) I am in early stage of developing a LUA script for adding sounds for other multiplayer aircrafts on VATSIM (should work on IVAO and PE also). Maybe there already exists a script/plugin like this? i dont know. Im not 100% sure if I can release this, since there is a lot of limitations at the moment. I cannot see the difference between a jet or prop aircraft, so all sounds for now is Jet-engine. What do you think?. Should I continue this project ?

  2. We may actually leave the cockpit-door thing as it is - as a reminder of the philosphical questions in life. How things can look different from other perspectives. How a door can be open, but at the same time closed. How things are not always what they seem to be...

  3. Try deleting the METAR.rwx file in your X-Plane folder; it may be corrupt. Then restart X-Plane. Also make sure you have the latest version of SkyMaxx Pro (4.5).

  4. This is a stunning aircraft, and one of the best in terms of FPS too. Amazing work, worth every cent. I saw the INOP logo and got confused, now I get it. Incredible details.

  5. Thank you mmerelles. The workaround you suggested works for me too. Although I use a shortened version of the workaround. I load the IXEG on the master. Then I start XP on the slave loading the SAAB immediately and wait for XP to autoload the IXEG. I agree it is a bizarre workaround, but effective. I also don't understand why it works. Its interesting that this shaking on the slave only happens for me with the IXEG 733 and no other aircraft. I did read some posts about changes LR made post 10.45 that I suspected could be a contributing factor, but it was all supposed to be fixed by 10.51. Since only the IXEG is currently showing this problem (assuming this continues to be an XP bug), there must be something specific to the IXEG that makes it more vulnerable to this XP bug. In any case, I am happy with this workaround so thanks again!

  9. Yes. The IXEG update will automatically contain a new version of Gizmo. You do not need to do anything except run the X-Aviation installer.

  10. I'm going to add an option so people can turn off the notification. I hope to get it in the IXEG update release.

  12. A few questions came up and I will try to clarify things a bit: In the default setup, gizmo will pop a little screen every time you start it up. It will ask you to refresh your license, so it loads you up with a full two weeks of "possible offline use". We do this so no one can say that "gizmo phones home behind my back without me ok ´ing it". If this bothers you, you can opt out of this "automatic refresh on startup" (go to the preferences box). Gizmo will then count down your two weeks silently, and ones it runs down, a window pops up and asks you to refresh your two weeks. This is exactly the same process that would happen every time you start up if you hadn´t opted out. The third option is to bring up the refresh box yourself and trigger it manually (if you opted out but plan on going on a trip without internet access, for example). Once your two week timer runs out, the box pops up - and you need to be online to refresh it. If you aren´t you can´t use the program until you are online and can validate again. This is exactly how X-Plane (digital version) does it, too. If there is strong demand to do ALL of this without bothering you (i.e. phone home to refresh silently), it may be possible to add an option for that to the preferences menu. Just let us know. Cheers, Jan

  14. yes override your existing "B733_prefs.txt" file on your IXEG 737 root folder with this one (save a backup of the original file just in case you want to rollback) Load xplane and use numpadkeys 0-9 to select the different views and experiment what this guy is providing you for camera pre-sets. Off couse by overriding your existing file you will loose -your- #0-9 camera view presets, you are replacing the entire file. But once you determine the wings view you like you can re-program the other slots back as per your liking note: You may also try to copy/replace wing view parameters into your existing pref file but this will be much harder.
