  1. Don´t enter the PLAN fuel. It is only entered very rarely if the pilots want to check out the performance of the plane before the real fuel is loaded onto the plane. Once you enter a PLAN fuel, the FMC will not take the real fuel on board into account. So in short - NEVER enter the PLAN fuel (we allow it to be entered because the real plane does it, but I have NEVER entered the PLAN fuel in 10 years of flying the 737). Cheers, Jan

  2. Thanks for your time looking into it, I did file a bug with Laminar. and for now, I will just do without water shadows, because the above ( and I agree) next step, is just too Time consuming with no guarantee.

  3. Just tried flying out of both Tallahassee and Chicago in the MD80 and still no luck in getting this to happen. However, your log.txt does reveal a huge number of issues with your X-Plane installation. You have a very old SASL plugin getting loaded from your F-15 aircraft that is known to cause problems, and countless conflicts arising from all of your custom scenery that you have installed. There are also indications of corrupt memory files being accessed in your log. It's not what you want to hear - but I think the next step is to install a new, clean X-Plane 11 into a new directory, install nothing but SMP to it, and see if the problem still occurs. If so, then it may be something specific to MacOS or your hardware configuration. SMP does "play by the rules" when it comes to shadows, so if we can narrow this down, we'll just have to file a bug with Laminar about it - especially if this just started in PB8 for you. Meanwhile we'll also keep our ears open for any similar reports from other users.

  6. Sorry but based on a few years experience with JAR products, the companys goals are just to throw another half finished product on the market to gain revenue - the permanent new small beta packages they provide are generating new problems and then need a new beta to fix these again. In my honest opinion, they should stop - take their time to make a complete fleet overhaul system and modelwise and release a good .1 version with all the problems fixed. But instead they're going to give as probably a new A340 which isnt long haul capable as the A330 is due to MCDU failures - and maybe a flyable short range A319...? I'm definetly no customer without seeing any new reviews about their products because I'm tired of their philosophy... dont get me wrong, just my opinion.

  7. The blowing snow on the tarmac is a feature of X-Plane, not SkyMaxx Pro.

  8. Definitely in hibernation. Throwing ourselves in the Citation and Saab fixes. Actually, more like "üpgrades". But it's definitely not vaporware. I've done too much work on it to discard it.

  9. No, you don't have a reply because you sent it yesterday so it hasn't come up in the queue yet. The error you have is because your text size in Windows is too large. Lower the text and restart the installer.
