  2. Cool work Tom! I look forward to trying this out on the Beta next week. Just an FYI from the line, the Top Bug is used for the "Flaps up manoeuvring speed" (or aka minimum clean speed) and should be set to 220 knots if the TOM is grater than 53,070 Kgs and 210 kts if is it below 53,070 Kgs.

  3. There is some (a lot) of limitations with this script at the moment. But working on it. For now the script is automaticly saving the situation to a interval I set and storing some information about fuel remaning. Before you are loading the situation you need to set the Preflight to "Ready to Fly" and set up the aircraft with fuel, perf, route etc. When you load the situation, the script is setting up the autopilot so you get a stable aircraft when its loading up.

  4. Hello folks. What is the most frustrating part with X-Plane? For me it is when Im ~2 hours into the flight, at top of descent, checking maps, weather, atis, etc... and suddenly... KABOOM, X-Plane crashes.. That is happening time to time. A reason for a crash to desktop is often hard to know. It could be conflicting plugins, bad scenery etc.. Or just something simple as a power outage. So in this frustration I have made a LUA script that are Auto Saving the situation every 10 minutes (or what I set it to). And it keeps a history of 10 savings. It is using the X-Plane's built in sytem for saving and loading situations, but im trying to customize it for the IXEG 733. I made this for personal use. But if this is something that are interessting for you guys, I could maybe make a release of it. What do you think ? Here is a quick and dirty demo how it is working at the moment.

  5. I think this is actually due to a change in the way that X-Plane handles the "plane is static on the ramp" friction. We at IXEG have so far spawned the plane in "cold and dark" with no braking available whatsoever. This simulated the state of the plane after sitting dormant for a few days. The brake accumulator would have been discharged, and only the chocks hold the plane in position. We simulate this by failing the brakes. In X-Plane 10, this seemed to work, even on sloped ramps. While the plane was "not moving", Austin made the plane be "glued" to the ground. Only with a certain force applied would the plane brake free. This seems to be changed in XP11, the force needed is much smaller. So the 737 starts rolling (as chocks can´t be simulated in X-Plane). I have added a change to our model in the next patch. The plane will spawn with the brake accu charged, so the parking brake and brake pedals will be effective. Until then, spawn in "ready to fly" or "turnaround". Sorry for the inconvenience, but also keep in mind that we are not officially supporting XP11 with our product yet. Jan

  6. Your groups and channels are listed on the left side of the Discord interface. At the top you have both your groups as you know them from Skype as well as the channels like you know them from TS. This is the server. When you click on the discord.gg link above it will automatically add you to the Discord server.

  7. Hiya's, I can imagine one simple scenario, i can think of another but won't post it as if it's as i think it's a great benefit to help protect a product So, Joe Scummy Freebie Bloggs buys a product Too lazy to upload the initial download so two scummy mates can get a copy via an online storage site So a link to the download gets pasted into a conversion box Hey Presto, a few seconds later three have a download within seconds As i've seen on this forum several times, one or more fubars the install and has obviously forgot to keep the download for later usage, slot refill is asked for, gets annoyed after being caught out, spouts off about civil liberties etc etc and pledges to sue etc etc Drops off the face of the earth err forum with tail between the legs Actually thought up another scenario, again, i'll keep that to myself To me, if you've got nothing to hide you have no worries regarding asking for slot activations I didn't really know how much hastle companies in the flight sim world have to go to trying to protect their investment, i do now lol and here's an example My first Catstrator Twitch Stream i think it was, there i was watching a plane being put through its paces, i'm pretty sure it was the IXEG 733, anyways, had a whisper popup, scared the stuffing out of me i was that engrossed in the stream 'Hello, i'm so n so, have you got a link to the download please ?' Ballcocks says i, buy ya own, or polite wording to that effect For me two three or unlimited now means nothing to me, save your first and you're in good stead, if it stops scummers killing off something i like and chuck money at, i say do what the heck you can to stop them and keep working and producing for ones who love the end product and are willing to buy to support development/s, if it takes a step of three slots or a varification every six months so be it Tony

  8. Hey Tom, this is also the one thing that I really hate sometimes with XP. My sim crashed twice today in-flight. I´ve got no idea why XP crashed. I´d therefore be really interested in this script. That would decrease many users´ frustration . Thanks, Julius

  9. all required datarefs and custom commands are documented on the aircraft documentation folder under the file '2-interface guide.pdf'. It is very helpful also to install xplane plugin dataref editor (free) to monitor, edit the different datarefs values for throubleshooting, testing purposes. Will help you to speed up the process. hope this helps

  10. Hi Gautam. Sorry to hear that you're having this issue. There have been a few issues causing this lately that I'm aware of. 1. Microsoft Win10 Anniversary Update. This changed the system fingerprint valuest that I use to generate our machine-id data. 2. macOS Sierra. This was also a fairly signifincant change and "should" only result in a machine-id change for people that are using a hackintosh. When you are using our activation dialog you will notice that it has a text input field that has "machine id" data in it. This data is also written to the Log.txt or GizmoLog.txt files. IF and only if this value changes, will you use a license slot. With this knowledge it is possible to "update to a new gizmo" and see if the machine ID data changed. It should not. But as stated above, sometimes OS level upgrades occur and sometimes we add "better" support for what customers want to do. If you continue to see these issues please post again. These DRM/activation systems are being actively upgraded at the moment. I hope to ship updates soon that will allow much better self management.

  11. And just to give you a concise answer to your question - yes, they could be adjusted, but not by the user, only by us, the developers. And we won´t, because we feel they are correct. The picture you show is overexposing the lights, if the annunciators in my cockpit had ever been that bright, I would have grounded the aircraft because that is VERY disturbing during a night flight. So while your personal preference may be to have them more bright, we provide no means to adjust lights to personal preference, unfortunately. Jan

  12. Myself, and others have a legitimate inquiry as to why your response time to submitted tickets suck. Now your deleting threads. What next, banned from the forum? How hard is it to refresh my license slots? Ticket # 7LPUV

  13. All LES add ons are planned for an XP11, PBR upgrade. I've wanted to do some PROPER bare metal liveries for the DC-3 for a while. It's like bare metal and the DC-3 are a marriage made in heaven. There are a few fixes I'm looking at as well, including the fuel transfer. Also looking at mesh optimization and new textures throughout. I don't think it'll take too long, but I'll post updates with screenshots as work progresses. Trying to get as much done as possible in as short a time as possible.

  14. We're gradually working our way through the different add ons to make sure they work flawlessly in XP11. Hopefully, it won't be too long before all fixes are in place.

  15. Today I did some specific tests regarding a feature I never told you about: I planned a function in order to automatically update the plane when the plugin find a newer version, in this way you shouldn't worry about missing and/or manual updates and theoretically you could update every single component of the plane (the code allow this), no matter if the update is about a script, a texture, a sound, an object or anything else... the only possible issue is about the generated data traffic when transferring big files such textures or objects, that's something I need to analyze carefully. In short when an update is available you'll see this sequence: You'll decide to accept the update or not, it's up to you. Let's say that you have accepted the update, so let's stop the main script engine: starting to get the updated files and apply them: Finally, you'll be prompted to reload the plane: If something goes wrong during the update process another window will tell you that, the only issues I found during this process are about internet connection and/or server availability, nothing else, in this case you can reload the plane and then choose to try again or decline the update in order to try later.

  17. The forums are used specifically for general support and not attempts to check up or speed an inquiry through the channel. People have a knack for coming in here even 30 minutes after writing a support ticket saying they get no support, or falling to mention they have been caught with piracy. This said, we hope you had a great holiday with family and we'll catch up with what's in the queue quite soon. Further topics will indeed be removed for the reasons stated above.
