  1. Just for fun: What a wonderful aircraft......

  2. Why is that Tom? don't take that the wrong way at all.....Consider it a marketing question...is the NG just "cooler" with the electronic displays? winglets? HUD? I'm curious what exactly it is about the NG that folks like. I myself like the NG's winglets and some of the VNAV info you get with the NG's EFIS system.....the cockpit is a bit "cleaner" looking too with some of the trim.....but the Classic has grown on me with its combo EFIS and steam gauges...more than I thought it would anyhow. 3. Hey how did you get my clouds in your signature picture?...lol

  4. We do have a complete product on our hands, an something like this has never been done for X-Plane. With that said LR has been good to me, I asked for normal mapping of ground textures, as an example, and now we have them in UrbanMAXX...... Once this sweeps across the market, hopefully, LR will realize the value and give us more attention. Im sure of it

  7. Easy Peter...LOL Aaron, I would really like to see this sky in different views typically seen while using X-Plane. That image you provided above looks really nice but I know and you know the default clouds leave a lot to the imagination. If you came up with a way of working with them, I would be very impressed. You dont have to share trade secrets or anything, but being elusive isn't helping you gain any traction with your efforts.....I guess what I am trying to say is I could produce a screen shot just as nice with default by playing around with views and weather conditions. But showing us what they can do in a natural state will help promote your efforts. I really thing you need to provide a gallery under different conditions to highlight what you are trying to accomplish.......

  8. I have no idea how SkyMAXX Pro works apart from it uses the Sundog SDK however I do imagine it may possible for the products to work in some form together - perhaps John's clouds and our skies. I will not know if this will be possible till the release of his add-on and as such I do not want to make any promises.

  9. I am pleased to say the Austin has given us the all clear to include the tweaked cloud shaders in the payware product.

  10. Hahaha....I know I didn't forget.... That is still on table....

  11. We have not stole any LR work. Ben raised a very valid point regarding the tweaked shaders and I have contacted the developer of the shaders to see if they were tweaked or redone. I also contacted Austin to discuss the very valid issue which Ben raised and what course of action we will be taking if the shaders are tweaked and not permitted for resale however at present this is an on-going to discuss to see whether the shaders are tweaked or not. The developers native language is not English and he uses a translator. I will keep you all updated on this situation and what appropriate course of action we will take. Everything has been created from scratch however there is a question mark over the shaders so please do not be disillusioned that we simply stole all the work.

  12. Fluid yes, but got several areas that need improvements, like seasonal textures (wintermaxx) lol Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk - now Free

  13. Selling tweaked content from Laminar is explicitly forbidden under their terms and conditions. Start explaining.

  15. Ahah, they were made in my country skies, with my two beloved planes " Jet A1-ised " them ;-)

  16. You will not be disappointed. Skymaxxpro will and the Saab has brought X-plane 10 to the next level. With the level of addons like these coming out, it will surpass FSX.

  17. Good to hear, good luck as you move towards release! I really like some of the screenshots I am seeing, post #93 being my favourite so far

  18. We are working on it, as you know this stuff takes time..... These issues dont detract from the product overall and they will enhance it in the future in the form of updates.....

  19. Thanks but this aircraft is really something else. Also this is my first experience with GIZMO.....Very polished product......

  20. X-Plane is so disapointing when it comes to performances, even with fastest components to date ;-( ... But yes, you will still have great performances, as long as you know how to play with sliders, especially clouds, AA and shadows ...

  21. If the flap lever is this detailed as the video, one can image how the rest of the plane is!!!!!! Jesus-H-Christ, talk about settting the bar at a new level. For me, one other thing that is most impressive is the dimming in lights on the glareshield announciators etc when using standby-power / backup battery as showned in the Electrics Demo 2 Video.

  22. Goran, thank you. There is no need to explain any further. You all set the standard with the Saab. I look forward to future aircraft with the same fidelity. Take care...... and a well earned vacation.

  23. No, there are performance restraints we must adhere to.....With that said I think I have shown what a wonderful job this add-on does......

  24. So one thing that is important to us at IXEG is that we try and get the interaction with the cockpit as realistic as we can..and still feel natural in feel, look, sound and operation. The flap lever in the 737 is gated...so in reality, you have to pull it up out of its gate, move it to another position and let it slip back into the new gated position. It has a very distinct motion and sound but at the same time, its a relatively smooth operation so the challenge was to recreate the motion / sound / feel in sim......and it has to work with both the mouse and default flap buttons (1 and 2 keys). The video below shows using the mouse manipulator followed by the default flap keystrokes. (11.2mb) https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/955680/flapslever.mp4

  26. We may change that in the long run, but for now all documents with the exception of charts are searchable. Let us know if you need help finding any others and we'll certainly be happy to help.

  27. X-Plane's realism is often reported as being accurate in flight dynamics but poor in world modelling. Therefore, I have created a new addon that will fill all the water and the oceans of the planet with algae and rubbish to make it more like the real world. So far, I have completed the task of filling them with algae blooms that are opaque. Here is one photo for previews, let me know what else I should add to my "polluted world" series. Just kidding - this is what happens when you leave a gritty texture detail on a semitransparent ocean texture. I though I had started my plane in a sewage treatment plant, but upon further inspection, I discovered that it was simply the dredged coral reef surrounding the island.
