tkyler Posted December 12, 2015 Report Posted December 12, 2015 (edited) Hi All, We've posted another video demonstrating some of the VNAV features during the climb phase. There are many different ways to control/affect the aircraft's vertical progress, including flaps, restrictions on speed and/or altitude and the MCP altitude knob. Follow along with Jan as he explains some of the features of the climb phase. Edited December 12, 2015 by tkyler 18
mmerelles Posted December 12, 2015 Report Posted December 12, 2015 A M A Z I N G this thing feels real! Too bad i have no money to build up an entire cockpit around this IXEG733C
Javier Posted December 12, 2015 Report Posted December 12, 2015 (edited) I think this is the closest thing to be a airline pilot I´m gonna do!!! Great job!!! So excited for this. Edited December 12, 2015 by Javier
deetee Posted December 12, 2015 Report Posted December 12, 2015 Great job guys, my appetite is well and truly whetted!
Dionsol Posted December 12, 2015 Report Posted December 12, 2015 Great Work guys, looking good. Hope the model will support those of us who have a heavy investment into Saitek equipment. That would be the strong selling point for me. Looking forward to the finish product, and if I buy it, I would primarily use the model for FS-Economy. cmbaviator Posted December 12, 2015 Report Posted December 12, 2015 Very nice, this is truly a state of the art. It looks like a level D sim software wise ( without the hardware) CMB Sent from Tapatalk
breadwild Posted December 12, 2015 Report Posted December 12, 2015 This is going to be the most kick a** jetliner on X-Plane, and will quickly overtake the JAR A320 as the most popular 3rd party aircraft. The FMS along puts the IXEG 737 light years ahead of anything available.
Mac-man Posted December 12, 2015 Report Posted December 12, 2015 (edited) Guys, Is this B-737 a download for X-Plane? If so where can it be found. I'd like to have a copy. It's very similar to the B-757/767 that I flew for Eastern Air Lines and Gulf Air in Bahrain. Phil Hansenphilhansen@comcast.net Edited December 12, 2015 by Mac-man

OuterMarker Posted December 12, 2015 Report Posted December 12, 2015 (edited) Very interesting video as always. Are those camera effects seen on takeoff build in or is Jan using HeadShake? Build in, just saw it in another thread, sorry. I love the quality of the sounds btw. Edited December 12, 2015 by kielsf4
simeg Posted December 12, 2015 Report Posted December 12, 2015 Really Great... :-D so but the last 10 Secounds of this Video are the best News ;-)
sirtopper Posted December 12, 2015 Report Posted December 12, 2015 Another short insight into a wonderfully crafted aircraft. I love how smooth the EADI and FD's are. The textures look amazing as Jan zooms in and out Getting very excited, it feels like Xmas did when I was a kid.
yukonpete Posted December 12, 2015 Report Posted December 12, 2015 Just spent the last 10min drooling! You still expect release in 2015? CheersPete

SkyCoyote Posted December 13, 2015 Report Posted December 13, 2015 If the IXEG team had to build their own algorithm for the function of the FMC demonstrated here, then the challenge to deliver is well understood. Great job.

cmbaviator Posted December 13, 2015 Report Posted December 13, 2015 @Jan I have a request: When you will be recording the final approach and landing, could you perform an autoland this time, I would like to see how smooth the flare is ? In real life the autoland performs a kiss landing but others developers seems to mess the autoland, it flares too late and we have a hard landing. Another request: Re do the autoland but let's say at 500 Fts AGL, engage toga: I want to see the STS ( speed trim system) entiring in action and see the lateral and vertical mode to switch from LOc and Gs to LNAV and VnAV( I think that in case of a Go Around, the lateral and vertical mode switched back to the managed mode if you know what I mean ( LVAV and VNAV). I hope I didn't ask too much CMB Sent from Tapatalk
Morten Posted December 13, 2015 Report Posted December 13, 2015 That movie has already been made and is part of the documentation/tutorial.

Especially not the speed trim system with autopilots engaged... But this will be a lesson for another time. Jan
OuterMarker Posted December 13, 2015 Report Posted December 13, 2015 @Litjan "DDHDDF1" is this how your LH company routes look like? I thought it would be something like "HAMFRA01".
tkyler Posted December 13, 2015 Author Report Posted December 13, 2015 Litjan "DDHDDF1" is this how your LH company routes look like? More like how a goofball like me names the file when I'm writing code to save/load the coroutes. As soon we we're done with this, I'll be the first in line for Jan's training! -tkyler
