  1. I'm interested in making MQTT work with X-Plane.
  2. Gizmo doesn't like international symbols in filenames. Your username is "Clément" This makes your desktop folder: C:\Users/Clément/Desktop/X-Plane 10/ Move X-Plane and Gizmo to another folder that only has standard boring american characters in the path name and it should work better. (This is on the list of things to fix..)
  3. http://www.xsquawkbox.net/xpsdk/docs/DataRefs.html ^f sim/joystick joystick_axis_valuesfloat[100]
  4. Folder location is enforced to keep tech support loads manageable. Technical Support consumes a large amount of time and anything we can do to streamline the process to make it consistent and enjoyable for the majority of users will be pursued.
  5. The activation asks you for an X-Aviation username and password. It does not ask you for a serial number.
  6. By design. As in real life. Search the forum, there's millions of replies to this.
  7. Try reducing your rendering options temporarily and see if it in turn reduces system load which will reduce power draw... Maybe your system is due for a dust clean?
  8. X-Plane is causing maximum power draw which exceeds what the wall adapter can supply over that puny cable. To supplement the system needs it draws from the battery. Nothin but clever engineering.
  9. This is less of a hardship than getting a subway ticket. Avoiding the question by trying to make me look bad doesn't help your position.
  10. We also hear every excuse under the sun. Link to your business websites? Proof of claim? We can put you on one week re-activation or something I suppose..
  11. Three machines. Unlimited activations per machine. If you leave a machine expired for over six months it will be removed from the pool allowing for a new machine. (hardware upgrades..)
  12. "harder than it is to just leave it in the x-aviation folder with all your other good content" - there, I said it.
  13. LuaJIT in X-Plane comes with the added bonus of a custom memory allocator implemented by X-Plane and only available for "thread safe" interaction via the main thread.
  14. This is a definite problem. I've purchased a current gen MBP with Intel JunkPU in it to test on but have no ETA.
  15. Face to face. In the flesh. No keyboard warrior courage. Though it's always easier to be nice in person than it is to be an ass.
  16. We use Amazons infrastructure to host files in a geo-distributed manner. This provides high speed access to 99.9% of people. The last mile of internet between your computer and the major backbone is beyond the scope of our support. (I live in Australia. My home ADSL is slower than 70% of the country. I have several cellular broadband dongles for both 3G and 4G on multiple networks. I feel your pain.)
  17. This is an X-Plane user interface issue. Laminar are the ones who should fix it.
  18. This is a squawkbox issue and has nothing to do with the IXEG product. Good luck.
  19. This is currently a limitation of Gizmo. Sorry for the annoyance. It's a long outstanding item on my list and will take work from both myself and the IXEG team to correct. It also clashes with built in GUI windows and widgets that use the native X-P styling, they will steal clicks from the Gizmo tooltray icons and things like the IXEG custom GUI widgets even when it appears that the tooltray or IXEG GUI should be "on top". Thanks for reporting it.
  20. "Since me and my brother live together and also fly together SM was also installed on his MacBook. " "on both our MacBooks and on my dedicated system with Hackintosh/OSX" You are a thief.
  21. How about I help myself to the food in your fridge and we see what your attitude is like when I'm done eating?
  22. Looks like you've dug yourself a nice little hole trying to activate on as many machines for as many people as you can. Zero sympathy for people who think even "marginal" piracy like a hackintosh is ok. Even less sympathy for sharing with your brother.
  23. No thanks. https://allthatiswrong.wordpress.com/2009/10/11/steve-gibson-is-a-fraud/ There's a lot more in Google about this guy. I've known of him since about 1998 when some of his products seemed semi relevant (Spin Rite for one...) There was always something a little odd about him though so I went googling about two years ago and there's a massive pile of other evidence blogs and articles about how this guy is a sham who can talk the talk but not much more. "Caveat emptor"" and all that. Do some digging, info is easy to find.
  24. Two Win10 BSODs in four days. Alienware laptop. Entirely matched drivers and software. Not a single custom part. Useless.
