  1. Looks just like a missing redistributable, this should get you going: https://torquesim.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/1/topic/a7a12d04-db0f-4347-9a15-b232956f57b1/article/128188431
  2. Hi Mark, Can you upload the log.txt file? There are two typical causes which prevent our plugin from loading, I should be able to see what is going on from the file.
  3. Logged, thanks for reporting!
  4. Make sure "Hide Passengers" is turned off (as shown). The visibility of the passengers is then controlled by the switches as shown in the picture.
  5. I'll take a look into this, I think right now the knob is not tied to power.
  6. Thanks for the feedback! I'll put this on the list.
  7. Of course! These just didn't made it into our promo material or our first release candidate sent to Max for the stream.
  8. Beta 16 was just pushed from LR, please let me know if fixes (or doesn't fix) the issue.
  9. It seems there was a mismatched file in our update (we are working on 1.1.2 right now). You can replace this file of the same name inside X-Plane 11/Aircraft/X-Aviation/TorqueSim BN-2 Islander and it should fix it. BN-2B Islander_cockpit.obj
  10. Interesting, we did nothing to address the LR bug, but I'll take it!
  11. The 1.1.1 patch is not the fix for the 11.50b15 bugs, those are regressions on the side of Laminar and will be fixed by an X-Plane update. Looking at the log, right around the time the sim shut down, this message was printed: [Line 1248] "XCD Scenery Technology AeroDesigns KCMH: Out of range, stopping" I'm not sure if that is the cause of the issue, but it seems very suspect.
  12. It seems to only affect a subset of X-Plane installs, depending on hardware.
  13. The 2D rendering pipeline in X-Plane 11.50b15 was broken for us, we have worked with LR on a fix that should be rolled out within the next few days.
  14. This seems to be b15. It should be fixed with the next beta of X-Plane. If it isn't, please be sure to let me know.
  15. X-Plane 11.50b15 broke our 2D rendering pipeline. We have already worked on a fix with LR that has seemed to work in limited testing. Hopefully it should be rolling out early this week.
  16. Can you upload the log.txt file? X-Plane 11.50b15 broke quite a few 2D rendering pipelines and Laminar has a fix coming soon for that, but I want to confirm something else isn't causing this.
  17. If the knobster can trigger commands, then yes, it could be used to be the G5 knob.
  18. Yes, we need to override the avionics switch for proper behavior of a few other aspects of base X-Plane, this has the downside of the GTNs being tied to the main bus instead of avionics. We are looking at potential ways to get around this.

    Can you share your log.txt?
  20. I've DMd you the 1.1 beta to try out, that might help with compatibility.
  21. I would recommend trying again by re-running the installer.
  22. The plugin shipped supports back to OS X 10.12 so the second bit mentioned above is not the issue.
  23. Is this file at the location "X-Plane 11/Aircraft/X-Aviation/Cessna 172SP G5/plugins/G5/mac_x64/g5.xpl" It is most likely either that file for some reason is missing or OS X is not loading the plugin, as it is compiled for MacOS 10.15 (though I should have some backwards compatibility to at least 10.14) and you are on 10.13. I am looking into that on my end to see if I need to get a separate build with more backwards compatibility.
  24. From the looks of it, it appears that the X-Plane can't find the G5 plugin at all. Did you copy the installation from your other computer, or did you run the Mac installer?
  25. Can you send the log.txt file after loading the aircraft so we can get a better idea of what is causing this?
