  2. I have no addon scenery, I have yet to see the need to spend money on it. No Ortho no airports just weather(absolute must since you are flying)) and planes, there is absolutely no reason when at 35000 ft for scenery, but people need to spend money and others are happy to take it. But off topic
  3. Yes a horizon Sky up, ground down, if it where the case we wouldnt need FMS and autoland, but no idea of what sky color has to do with visual clues.
  4. Dosnt take long to set Altitude as for Decision Height it has being raised they will address it, and I dont know how you could possibly compare Carenado to this. There are other minor issues being addressed.

  8. As posted in the saitek post, I did a flight yesterday, I found the plane tends to hold its speed 5 KTS lower than set by the speed bug.
  9. Hi had to update was using wrong control for speed bug, But there is an issue the IAS it tries to hold is always 5 kts slower than what you set. Any other issues please let me know. But now plane does hold IAS you just need to set it 5 KTS higher than what you want. xsaitekpanels.ini

  13. Wing anti ice is bleed air from the engine with rubber boots, watched them in operation one on the way to Brokenhill one winter years ago, was in a seat at leading edge and we had icing.
  14. Considering how long I have had this plane I have done more flights with it in last 2 weeks than since I have had it. YSSY to YBUD, to YARM back to YSSY than to YORG now at YBHI, which is longest flight yet, next is back to YSSY littte over 500nm but expecting a 35 kt tail wind.
  15. 1. What does the Take off inhibit button do, if anything 2, Is it possible to add a course scroll to the Min altitude Knob so its dual Course fine, Using mouse wheel to go from 0 to 600 ft takes a while and a lot of the regional airports have minimums around 400 ft
  16. I did try using reverses at gate. plane wouldnt move, breaks off etc.
  17. You need that torque gauge up, I noticed on last touch down if you dont get it right it can loose sync when you move the power leavers.

    Hmm I think i ran into icing, I was at about 17000 and it started to rain, suddenly AP disconnected plane off course, temp was below freezing, i was trying to find the outside temp when it all happened, below -4C, so I assume that what happened, might have to try again tomorrow. And try with boots turned on
  19. Its simple, you leave your Levers off, You use the mouse to drop the 340 levers into start position, once you start the engines you can move your prop levers, It isnt that hard, really.
  20. 340 Performance file for Little Nav map, its close, based on 1200FT min avg climb and 1400 FPM decent, which I find helps me slow down a little on decent. Navmap Folder should be in your documents folder. Les Saab 340A.lnmperf
  21. If you read the Panel where the Flap gauge is, flaps 1 and 15 is 175 Kts max, so yes they might break.
  22. It wont go below red line till gear has touched down throttle is synced and red line dissapears. That red line it to stop you going below flight idle inflight. It works well once you are used to it.
