  1. ...AND....as before. still going full bore. More than a week, but (hopefully) less than a month. Hope I don't eat those words, but if so, it won't be by much. My point is we're still moving along towards our goals according to the plan. A significant portion of 2023 will be spent on the IXEG, so we're just making sure we get off to a solid footing to continue on with further improvements. -tkyler

  2. haven't looked yet (at the beacon specifically) V12 has major lighting changes that I'll address in the V12 update, including looking at the beacon situation. ...so its expected that if using in V12, the lighting is quite dim all around. I will absolutely be fixing it. I'm on an IXEG binge at the moment, but will move back to the MU2 to finish the port right after. It won't be terribly long and I'll get this stuff fixed up. -tkyler

  3. You can set the knob positions for main display brightnesses, DataRefEditor is available for that. The CDU brightnesses are internal and not readily accessible.

  4. We haven't solidified new features at this time. For now, the focus is getting the product converted to 12.

  5. Version 1.0.0

This is a livery that seems to be a variant of the Bombardier House Colors liveries found for both the Challenger and Global series, main difference of course in it having blue features. This livery is based on an IRL aircraft with tailnumber "T7-AIR". It has been made for the HS CL650 version 1.7. This livery is derivative work, and (with permission) is heavily based on user -Paul-'s splendid work on his orange and pink stripe liveries. Recommend you check out his work and drop him a thanks! Without his foundation, i don't think i would have started this one.

@ryeng87This is a fantastic livery! Thank you for a job well done and for the coordinated efforts that went into producing it! I for one will be spending many hours enjoying its beauty.

  6. Today some high altitude flightmodel testing for the conversion. The picture shows steady state at FL350 and M.74 with 46.000kgs. Book values (official POH) are: 82.8%N1 and 1009kg/h FF.

  7. I foresee two 'events' with regards to the 733. Event 1 is "port to XP12 'as is'. Event 2 is 'upgrades beyond the port'. The goal of event 1 is to get it to work in XP12 the way it does in XP11 given XPlane changes. Those who have made 733 purchases since early this year will certainly get the XP12 port version for free as stated on the XA product page. Beyond that XP12 port though, we have not made any determinations about what may or may not constitute a 'paid upgrade' beyond the fact that it shouldn't be egregious or outlandish. Regarding features 'beyond the xp12 port'... we have and hear arugments all the time for/against variants, cargo versions, etc and have not made up our minds yet about what may be next. The obvious things todo are the FMS work and upgrading all the 3D/textures/animations. As far as MSFS, a lot of us developers have kept an eye out on the whole market/dev process and a port is not a trivial thing, regardless of what Fenix / inisim is doing. We're talking multiple 1000s of man hours easily, and at my age and road traveled, that's a tall order.....regardless of the money potential. I rather enjoy my little world in X-Plane and those users who also see the same value in it. Perhaps Fenix, iniSim or someone else can do a 737-300. I can't speak for any other devs in the X-Aviation ecosystem, but for our part, we'll probably stick to X-plane with the 733...best I can tell from today. -TomK

  9. So Graeme, sorry, I have to disagree. Of course this product is state of the art, a exact replica of the real thing. That's the reason why we all bought it! But we also want to use it and we don't want to wait until you publish the next video to get randomly more insight into the systems of this aircraft. When I buy such a great piece of realistic functioning aircraft, I need to have a MANUAL that I can study and learn how to correclty operate this thing. I don't understand why you don't answer at any point to the main question in this threat: Is there a manual coming? If it is in the making, all right. I can imagine how complex it is to do and to write everything down. But I really miss any comment by your side. I am tired already of asking questions here in the forum about system behaviour. Everybody is guessing. Nobody knows exactly. The answer is not to get a real manual of the CL605, because it is close to the 650. We need an operating handbook that we are able to study of this Hotstart Challenger 650 as it was programmed by your company. Today I asked myself how to get the magenta speed target in the PFD. I assume it is related to VNAV, but I don't know, but I would like to know, otherwise I don't need to buy such an advanced programmed aircraft. I had the magenta speed bug once by accident. Tried to reproduce it on the next flight, no chance! I had only the blue selected speed target, no matter what. So is it the goal to trial and error or what is your answer to the question: Do we get a manual for this aircraft? I totally agree to Claudietto. There is no need to apologize. We just asking questions we like to have answered. Don't get us wrong. We love this bird. All the guys who bought it want to dig in deeply. But we can't do! There's a piece missing! Guess you buy a new car, drive home and realize you don't have any manual! Only checklists! What would you think? I think, you would call the car company immediately, right? I hope we get an answer to the threat question this time...
