I'm really excited by what I'm seeing with XP12...visually...though its still WIP on both my and Laminar's end. The following video shows testing of the rain effects and lighting issues. The rain effect is exaggerated in this video for purposes of testing...so the 'deluge' on the window is more than the sky is putting out. Also...the lighting between night/day...specifically through dusk/dawn isn't quite up to speed. Laminar is aware and as mentioned earlier...on their list at some point to evalute and hopefully tweak. In the following video of the rain effect...I also use the K/L keys to cycle through the time of day.....to just before and after sunset...and you can see how the lighting intensity is still needing some Laminar love....BUT....you can see the potential. The capture is 20fps...so the video looks a bit rougher than what I'm seeing on my end. https://www.dropbox.com/s/0y23n1th42r9b7i/rain_effects.mp4?dl=0 TK2 points

Please read the included 'READ ME' File Atlantic / Signature signage / handling slips New 'wood' floors in the FBO with Navigraph screens iPhone 13 reskin for the cell phone. (I still need to redo the SatPhone as the buttons don't look great on it yet from the reskin of the iPhone) Replaced the oil service can with the real Aeroshell 500 Refueling slip complete with fuel card (Currently only Shell Aviation) Shell Refueling truck Global Deicer livery. As a final note: Before altering please ask (as I can probably save you some time with a pre-filled PSD) and If you want to send an idea on a future FBO / fuel truck / any others, please send them to Ocean Tsunami in the Hotstart discord. Early work-in-progress...but eh....why not...could be fun. Just don't answer the phone if it rings after watching this video. exhaust_opt2.mp41 point

Based on real world CL650 OY-LLG operated by Sun-Air. I had to take some creative liberties with the cheatline as it did not fit 100% on the model as per the real airframe and I couldn't get the line to intersect the nose, cabin door, overwing exit and APU area closely to the real airframe without it - I hope the end result is ok! The registration CANNOT be changed due to limitation of this airframe having a wing registration so I opted not to use the built-in registration feature and painted the registration on the livery itself. NOTE: Painted for XP12's new lighting engine - NOT tested in XP11. Appearance may be unsatisfactory in XP11 Features: Custom airframe-specific placards Adjusted AO layers Custom cabin interior based on real airframe with custom carpet normal maps Not to be distributed or copied without explicit permission.1 point -

FYI, X-Aviation is located in Florida, USA and a hurricane is bearing down on them....MU-2 2.0.3 patch may be delayed as they prep and rush to evacuate. TK1 point

quick update. Last week was a wash for the Moo XP12 conversion....the AP docs taking a bit longer than anticipated (but 95% done) ....and a few "transition obligations" were called in last week by companies I severed ties with but pledged "transition help" to not leave those groups hanging....including Laminar. I fully expect to have the next 2.0.3 patch out in 2-3 days with the GTN option for the windows guys...and will roll right into the MU2 12 update. -TK1 point

Thank you for the link, and other reports in this forum. One more testimony of the talent of Saso and his mate. Cherry on the cake: Kiselkov is planning to add support for multi-crew flying over the internet. Obsolutely necessary. Just one mistake : Skiselkov is the name of a Star in my mind. The S is missing all along the review. Too bad.1 point

Using version 1.4r1, macOS Catalina, X-Plane 11.55 I have code to print the HLIS dataref's contents after touchdown when passing 25 knots GS and decelerating: if (onground_any > 0) { if (25.0f > (XPLMGetDataf(flightmodel_groundspeed) * 3.6f / 1.852f)) { if (delta_acc) // XPLMFindDataRef("CL650/HLIS/delta_acc") { log("[info]: landing (detected): CL60 HLIS acc %.3f\n", XPLMGetDataf(delta_acc)); } } } Resulting in: [info]: landing (detected): CL60 HLIS acc 6.104 Compared to (HLIS button pressed for two seconds later on, i.e. soon after engine shutdown, checked on the display and crosschecked with the CSV log): HLIS % grep DeltaG HLIS-1.csv DeltaG,0.622 HLIS % The difference (6.x vs. 0.6x) seems significant. Questions: am I printing the wrong dataref? is it not a float (seems unlikely)? do I have to process delta_acc get to DeltaG somewhow? do I really have to print the dataref even later than I do now? is there a different issue I'm not aware of? Here is what Toto said: The datarefs are named: ``CL650/HLIS/delta_acc`` - the recorded peak delta-acceleration in m/s/s ``CL650/HLIS/norm_acc_log[0..120]`` - a running log of the normal acceleration (in m/s/s) received by the HLIS from the IRSes. Entry [0] is the latest data and progressing backwards in time at 40 samples per second. This gets continuously overwritten in flight and stops being updated 3 seconds after landing (at which point the HLIS computes the peak delta-G value).1 point

It doesn't really show that though. As an example, if you rotate the main gear into the ground a lot of the cabin G "feel" is coming from the wings right down to the point of contact, so the HLIS won't show a high value, even though it would feel nasty to the passengers. In the opposite sense, holding off then "rolling it on" by reducing the pitch attitude slightly will read higher on the HLIS (as the gear is taking more of the load) but would feel better for the passengers. In short - HLIS is a maintenance tool - not a landing rate / feel monitor.1 point
