  1. Version 1.1.2

    794 downloads

Based on real world CL605 9H-VFE operated by VistaJet. I had to take some creative liberties with the cheatline as it did not fit 100% on the model as per the real airframe and I couldn't get the line to intersect the nose, cabin door, overwing exit and APU area closely to the real airframe without it - I hope the end result is ok! The registration CANNOT be changed due to limitation of this airframe having a wing registration so I opted not to use the built-in registration feature and painted the registration on the livery itself. NOTE: Painted for XP12's new lighting engine - NOT tested in XP11. Appearance may be unsatisfactory in XP11 Features: Beautiful custom PBR silver paint effect Adjusted AO layers Adjusted exterior labels Not to be distributed or copied without explicit permission.

Inspired by real world GL7T M-NSTR operated by YYA Management Ltd. The registration CANNOT be changed due to the location on the vertical stabiliser so I opted not to use the built-in registration feature and painted the registration on the livery itself. NOTE: Painted for XP12's new lighting engine - NOT tested in XP11 but should work ok Features: Adjusted AO layers Adjusted exterior labels Not to be distributed or copied without explicit permission.

  3. Guys - this have to get off my chest: I have been exclusively flying the Challenger 650 for many months now, and I still find enormous pleasure in every flight I make! I really still learn every day about the aircraft and it systems, be it the avionics, but also the aircraft systems itself, the flight envelope etc. The videos I watched in the beginning make much more sense now, as I now can appreciate every little detail in them, detail I can put to use now. The X-Pilot forum is an incredible source of information, with a very high level of knowledge and support. Second to none. It has also given me an edge in understanding the real life problems we encounter with our CL650. The aircraft has taken taken me all around Europe in about 150 flights, almost all of them on VATSIM creating an added dimension of 'surprise' - they never give you what you expect. In short, in my view this aircraft is absolutely worth every penny and I'm looking forward to making many, many more flights with it! As always beautiful livery, thank you very much! For the airframe manager, real-world selcal on this particular bird is KQ-MP and MSN is 5974. Best regards

  4. KirkR, Many thanks for your response. This is a very good creation. Support is excellent. Sharing of info on the forum is great - respectful, just nice helpful people. So glad I dusted off the credit card finally and bought it. Retired pilot so I'm really getting into this machine. All the best, Dave

  5. FYI, X-Aviation is located in Florida, USA and a hurricane is bearing down on them....MU-2 2.0.3 patch may be delayed as they prep and rush to evacuate. TK

  6. Quick note. The incident aircraft was a 604. The sharp eyed Hotstart 650 pilot might look at the report wondering why the systems diagram in the report shows Flap motor power from AC BUS 1 (Motor 1) and AC BUS 2 (Motor 2) - yet on the 650, Motor 1's breaker is located down on CBP 3 (B11), which is the AC ESS BUS. Motor 2 is still behind the right seater's head on CBP2. (B5) [AC BUS 2] As we transitioned from the 604 to the 605/650 one item we rejoiced over during differences training was the new power source for Flap Motor 1, the AC ESS BUS. On the 604 we we weren't blessed with ESS power to a flap motor - which meant no flaps on the ADG. This is the same diagram from the 605/650 FCOM.

  7. We are testing preliminary X-Plane 12 support in the beta release of CL-650. But there’s a lot of work to do to make it fully compatible, and may take multiple releases.

  9. Hello, Navigate to your LEGS page and locate the waypoint which has had a constraint applied. Input the required level into the scratchpad and use the appropriate right side LSK (line select key) to transfer the information from the scratchpad. Some additional information below that you may find useful: - To enter an altitude simply input "6000" or "12000". To enter a flight level input "F310" or "FL310" - If you're given an "at or above" put "A" afterwards, eg. "6000A". - If you're given an "at or below" put "B" afterwards, eg. "F270B" - If you're given a "between" enter the lower altitude, then "A", then the upper altitude and "B" - eg. "7000A9000B" - You can also input a speed restriction at the same time, eg. "250/10000" or "220/5000" using the forward slash to separate.

  10. An Expanded Procedures is provided to help you accomplish every action in the Challenger. These Expanded Procedures follow the checklist structure exactly, but have additional guidance on how to accomplish each action. Follow the first few items on the procedure to get the avionics powered up. Once all the avionics are on the checklist is available on the MFD, and from this point the virtual First Officer will be able to read the checklist to you so you don’t loose your place. The Expanded Procedure guidance is also available as a popup hint for each item. You can easily ask the First Officer to start the checklist with any key or button bound to the command CL650 \ Checklist \ Confirm checklist item. Don’t worry about learning every item in the checklist the first time through. Have fun, pick a new system to focus on each time, and soon it will all become natural. When you've got it, disable the hint images and you're on your own!
