  1. @Goran_Mthe persistence is what makes this aircraft so great. Many a times I had to motor the engine before my next leg, because ITT was too high. Or getting ready to taxi and find out your trim isn't working because of maintenance issue and you have to shut the engine down and fix it. So many things that are made better by persistence. I can even restart x-plane and find the engine covers is not on yet because the engine has not cooled down. And yes I would love the P-factor back. I just love this "little" aircraft.

  2. Thanks for the update Coop, I appreciate your teams effort. I will continue to try and isolate this anomaly... Really think the BN-2 is first class.

  3. I am running Navigraph cycle 2008 and when I turn onto the final approach course at KISIL I get this picture (both taken at the same time, sim paused) - so for me it works fine. If you see something else there may be something wrong with your Navigraph cycle. Cheers, Jan

  4. This seems to be an X-Plane rendering bug, we are working on a workaround as it only affects certain systems

  5. I can only imagine. And I get that. "Flying" the TBM with a twist yoke would be interesting. I don't know ____ about coding all this stuff. So, I take what you folks can provide. Which with the TBM is a lot. That model and just a couple of others are what keep me in the sweet spot. So thanks...

  6. At the risk of starting a flame war, my 40 years of experience as an IT guy taught me that in terms of reliability & compatability, AMD's "walk" never seemed to quite match it's "talk". Personally, I run X-Plane on an Intel 10700K (not overclocked) on a Gigabyte Aorus MoBo with 64GB RAM - no plugins - and ... everything just works (with the exception of the occasional glitch). Take that as you see fit.

  7. I'm completely lost for words. So much time was spent coding this, and we're getting called "amateurs" for it. It's up there with "Your TBM is too realistic! Can you do something about making a choice between basic mode and realistic mode?" Yes, we've been accused of the TBM being too realistic. @TBMpilot I'm sorry our TBM is far too realistic, or, in your words, "amateurish" for you. Perhaps the "OTHER" TBM is more suited for your needs. No persistence. Basic systems. Get in and fly. But as @rjb4000 mentioned, the product page has full disclosure on what is in our TBM. And we always encourage our customers to read it, to make sure they make fully informed decisions before parting with their money.

  8. At the end of the day it's a simulator; so it should simulate. If you leave something a certain way in a real aircraft then guess how it'll be the next time someone returns to the aircraft? It's doing what it should do -- and it's one of the features I like.

  9. Here is a hot fix file to address the HSI 180° offset with the panel lights turned on. To install, just place this png inside the X-Plane 11/Aircraft/TorqueSim BN-2T Turbine Islander/objects folder replacing the file of the same name. (2T_gauges_LIT.png) 2T_gauges_LIT.png.zip

  10. In addition to the VNAV work we have also these fixes lined up for the next update: Improvements * Added switch in aircraft file to always force experimental flight model on * Improved tracking ability of nosewheel in tight turns (less skidding) * A "direct to" turn will not attempt to re-intercept the line between current aircraft position and the waypoint * Yoke checklist can now be flipped up and down and yellow bug goes all the way to top again * Added a dataref to indicate if autothrottle is active or not * Added a preference to "pause on Top of Descent" Bug fixes * Fixed right-hand windshield wiper 3D * Fixed fuel gauge testcycle * Fixed leading-edge devices lighttest button * Fixed EGT needle on steam gauges not going higher than 800C * Fixed hydraulic accumulator pressure on modern gauges always showing full pressure * Autopilot trim cutout switches will now also stop the speed trim * Scavange pump will not trigger unless a center-tank pumpswitch has been turned on then off * Animated stopwatch buttons * Vertical speed scrollwheel can now turn "infinitely" (instead of running against an invisible turn limit) Cheers, Jan
