  1. Hello all. What started out as a 'quick bug fix" for our annoying gizmo '470' error has, over the last 80 hours in one week..... turned into a very significant rewrite of our route procedures editing code. I was hoping to have it done by this weekend, but we are not quite ready. We are easily 95% of the way though and will continue to push to get this rather significant FMS update out asap. Depending on the routes you enter, some may not notice much difference, but for others, the difference will be quite noticable with the "routes editing as expected". Of course there is no way we can try all the routes that all the user can. In one 14 hour day, I may enter 100 test routes, all at the same airport, so feedback after release will be much welcome. We have refactored our editing code to be much more maintainable and 'debuggable'. That being said, we are pushing the CDU entries pretty hard at lots of locations and will continue to do so right up until release. I MUST re-iterate...this is LNAV editing code, not the VNAV. VNAV calculations are built upon the LNAV route and so this is a major foundational step towards improving the VNAV. I suspect many routes will improve though with this update. After this route editing effort is stabilized, I will go over the waypoint restrictions and then the VNAV. Holds will come after. -tkyler

  2. Most likely the engines got flooded with too much fuel, make sure to have the fuel pump be turned on only right before starting each engine side to prevent flooding.

  3. Dear Jan As always with my problems you have a right newest Gizmo plugin b2 solved my problem And FPS about 5 more :))) Very thank you and have nice a day I was happy to quickly. After landing APU doesn't work. Light and indicator shows everything is ok i switch to APU power as always- I hear characteristic sound of power changes, lights blink. I'm shutting down engines and then everything shut down. I must connect ground power to bring power back. When i tried to switch to APU again, nothing happend. 5. Good morning @Coop. I loaded into XP this morning to check again and it self-repaired somehow. Haven't touched anything. I'd call it *solved* BTW: Safety Bar (Battery/Gens) does not remember position/state between flights / XP reloads. It stays UP. (at least it doesn't for me atm ;-) ) Oliver

  6. The 3rd party Black panel is not compatible with the new version at the moment...it is work in progress. But in most planes when you replace individual in the main aircraft folders it will be automatically updated and your personal changes deleted.

  7. Hmm... while I tested flying through overcast conditions, I don't think I explicitly tested low visibility in VR. Maybe that's the piece I've been missing. Under low visibility, the far clip plane of the projection matrix changes, and if Laminar is not passing the correct matrix to us, it would explain what you're seeing. I'm going to be away from home for a week or so, but once I get back I'll test that. If that is indeed the case, I'll likely need to work with Laminar as it may be a bug on their end.

  8. Found the issue with the Localizers. X-Plane 11.50b10 changed one element of the localizer nav data encoding (bearing), which broke the custom localizer simulation code in the TBM. Compatibility workaround will be included in the next TBM update.

  9. Can´t really say none taken. I fly the plane many hours daily (1.31) and the autopilot behaves completely predictable for me. VNAV is still not working as it should - we never said that it does. I don´t think it has become worse. I am all for freedom of speech, but getting on here and making unsubstantiated claims of "unflyable", "unpredictable", "terrible" etc. is borderline slander. If you can´t get things to work I am sorry for you - we are ready to help you if you provide details of what is going wrong - but if you just feel the need to vent, let of steam and rage, please take it elsewhere.
