On the eve of V4 I want to take the time to thank the community for your continued support of our products. Speaking for myself, I started down this path years ago with my first release "UrbanMAXX"..... Since then I partnered up with SunDog and X-Aviation and our offerings grew to give you the very best experiences in X-Plane.... I started in the world of flight sim with FS9 and then X-Plane 9 with no intent of becoming a developer.... Once I got ahold of X-Plane 10 I fully realized the potential for this platform and was put off by the lack of development.... UrbanMAXX was born out of the idea that X-Plane could be better and why the hell not ,I'm going to be a positive influence and do my best to help.... Those days are long gone and X-Plane 11 is currently driving towards the front of the pack at a rapid pace....I like to think we had a big hand in pushing them over that divide and I am still really excited about being a part of this awesome franchise..... But we wouldn't be here if it wasnt for you guys. Again I want to thank you for supporting us through the years and we hope to be there supporting your hobby for many years to come.... There is obviously something wrong on your end either with the install or the pilot. The aircraft is flown thousands of hours every day with few problems. When/if you have something more constructive to say and more specific info about your exact problems, start a new topic in the support area and we will be happy to try to help you. This is the second time you have started a topic like this, ranting without any useful information what so ever! Read the documentation on what what info we need to help you. Do one of the tutorial flights and tell us EXACTLY where your problem starts. This is your last chance... M4 points

I think you have answered your own question through a rather pessimistic view, Jeff. Perhaps the default clouds are more for you. But on a more serious note, SkyMaxx Pro and the SilverLining SDK are built to a spec for many high profile clients to strict standards. These clouds meet the very strict training requirements of organizations like the US Air Force, US Navy, NASA, Boeing, Airbus, Lockheed Martin, etc., all of whom are our direct customers along with hundreds more. There will always, without doubt, be some customers disappointed in a product or solution, and for every one, there will be hundreds to a thousand of others happy as can be and silent...and trust me, there's a massive number of SkyMaxx Pro customers out there. In the end, I'm sure you will very quickly find YouTube videos showing whatever it is you're requesting. I'm going to be very clear here and now: This topic is not to turn into any kind of debate or slugfest. There's enough of that drama to go around elsewhere in the community, and subsequent attempts to throw an announcement post off topic will be immediately removed.3 points

@Cameron As we have disagreed many times in the past, I truly respect your answer to my question and how you have responded to it. I do agree with you, SMP is a great product and I like it for many reasons like the puffy clouds and I also know how hard it is to make everyone happy when putting out a product. I know SMP will be working hard to make it better and it "will be" the best it can be with more updates and design in the future. I also, look forward to purchasing SMP tomorrow.2 points

It's certainly a milestone! And I certainly appreciate the support of our customers as well. It all started with me saying "sure, why not" to John over 3 years ago. I had never met him before, and it was a big leap of faith. Never dreamed SkyMaxx Pro would end up as popular as it has become! We have a lot planned for SkyMaxx Pro's v4 run, so this isn't the end of the story. I really hope you all enjoy it. -Frank1 point

Hi All, Another milestone passed in the 733 Sim! We got a real CDU fully interfaced to IXEG 733 and X-Plane 11! So cool and fun using real hardware in a sim. For those we keen eyes, yes that i snot 100% correct CDU but it is very close and was only 75.00 compared to 800++ for a real 737 one. This one was actually retrofitted in 732, 727, DC9, MD80, and others. There are 2 short videos showing a completed route input. Super fun and thanks to IXEG making the datarefs available, a dream come true. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=atvVsyPCtno PART 2 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nSy9C59Hzk01 point

Thanks for the quick response, Cameron. I have just started using X-Plane, starting with v11, so I was not familiar with SMP versions 1, 2, or 3. I did read that link. Sorry, I missed the "3D volumetric clouds" feature. So, when I fly into a cloud using SMP4, the scenery/horizon will disappear, as viewed from the cockpit, correct?1 point

Looking forward to this release. Definitely buying it at its first availability - it has added immensely to my X-Plane flying experiences... Congrats! BeachAV8R1 point

I'll be doing an alnighter hoping to snag v4 5am ish my time Waiting's a pain init lol Tony ps : Nero, i have the complete opposite happen, i have a decent rig specially upgraded for xp10, i now find my fps better with more eye-candy in 11 compared to 10 !! go figure pps : If using Nvidia Gpu, strip the darn driver down to just that, the driver, !!!!!!! google it's easy Tony1 point

As I as many want to know and see is....when we fly through the clouds, will we see IFR as we do in the real world and as we see in XP11 stock clouds?? Why do we only see the clouds from the outside of the plane? We fly in real life and on here from the cockpit of a plane and SMP previous versions have always disappointed pilots for the "unrealness" of flying "through" clouds depicting REAL life IFR. Can you post a video from a cockpit view so we can due our own due-diligence if we feel SMP4 is worth it or not??1 point

Actually, I'm still running XPlane 10 and thats SMP3 with RWC. Based on the videos I've seen I don't thing I'll be wasting the $ on X Enviro. SMP4 looks like it'll do the trick!1 point

Ok guys, big update!! X-Plane 11 is out, and boy! is the new material model gorgeous. After a bit of studying the normal maps from the 737, I did some test with PBR maps myself and I got to say that this is amazingly satisfying. Its a week worth of producing metalness maps for the normals. Some more model edits includes a basic 3D cockpit model for exterior, new liveries and texture edits. Enjoy the screenshots!!1 point

Fixing the CTD requires a re-write of the CRJ plugin. This is impractical and un-economical unless the CRJ is refreshed as a new product(unlikely to happen) with a new round of customer purchases. The problem with the CRJ is NOT in the CRJ code. It is in support libs that the CRJ uses and is no simple fix there either. The ONLY work around you have to reach neat and tidy perfection is this:1 point

Hello, The IXEG is so buggy in xplane 10 and 11 i cant even use the aircraft. the autopilot system just doesnt work. it doesnt slow my plane down it doesnt follow flight path etc.. autothrottle doesnt work etc.. was there a update? How do i update to the latest version because i have 1.0.7 and its completely buggy. The default 737 in xplane 11 has less bugs.-9 points
