  8. Here are some shots of the work-in-progress 0.4.0, using 2 new features: - Buildings facing the street. World2XPlane will calculate which side of the building is facing the street and try and place a building so the door lines up with the street. It's not always possible, as there can be multiple streets around a building, but it gives a bit of order to the somewhat random placement seen in 0.3.1. - Taller buildings in cities Blacky is still working on his tall European city buildings, so this will improve over time. But initial results are very promising

  9. My European tour continues with a flight from Nice to San Remo and back. Lack of OSM at San Remo shows the difference in scenery realism.

  11. Starting to slowly come together. Weather radar being made from the actual doc's (with the exception of radar tilt. XP doesn't allow it). Radios are now completely accurate and will be fitted to the Saab very soon with new manipulators.

  12. OK this one is a bit tricky, first off I am using the XPFR Bora Bora scenery package...... Also in SkyMAXX Pro I am using the Tropical Paradise sky color set...... To round off the tropical appearance I created the theme Tropics Even though I have included some specific conditions it works well in other environments..... Here are a few screens for you to look at.... Tropics.zip Unzip the packageNavigate to (X-Plane Root)/Resources/Plugins/MAXXFX/UserEffects....Drop the file into that folderGoto the MAXX FX UI inside X-Plane check power usergoto load and select TropicsAs always with MAXX FX your results may vary depending on your settings........enjoy!

  13. Just because you photoshop the menu bar onto a real photograph doesn't mean you can pass it off as a shot from X-Plane Wow!!!

  14. hmm.....Let me fire up some real world weather..... <<UPDATE>> I got this to reproduce itself, let us get back to you after digging some more...... Nice area to fly in BTW..... <<update, update>> CptCaptain thanks for the help, good news is we will have a fix in the upcoming V2 release.... What you are looking at is how XPX sends weather information to our clouds, in this case real world weather is sending two identical cloud layers at different altitudes....... hang tight

  16. If not, my wife will set my computer on fire. In all seriousness, given the current progress, most likely. But we never promise anything until we all agree it's ready to be put in the store.
