  1. If you've had a hankering to do some crop dusting, here's your chance! I just got the Alabeo Cessna C188 AGTruck and she's a hoot! The spray effects are crazy cool and she's fun to fly. Fly her with or without spray equipment. http://www.alabeo.com/index.php?accion=product&correl=85

  2. A sneak peak for fellow 3Ders. This 737 cockpit is mostly done and is getting UV mapped and textured at the moment. This should really bring the cockpit together nicely. Not much remaining...the galleys and cabin refinement, then basically small details. We might trade polygon detail for texture detail as we progress, we'll just have to wait and see, but it is usually easier to remove polygons than add them in my experience. TomK IXEG

It is final.... Or is my choise buy this product via x-aviation worst ? X-Plane 10.20 Release Candidate 3(This version was accepted as the 'official' 10.20!)

  5. Not long been into flight sims. I have been spending equal time on FSX and X Plane 10 so I can see which one I prefer - definitely going the X Plane route. X Plane has been a pain so far to set up and as a flightsim newbie I have had a hard time learning to fly but today it finally clicked. I have been hopping between FSX and X Plane taking in the Alaskan strips in the Cessna 172 to see the differences between the two sim's and while in X plane I finally got my approach and landing spot on. I normally have been coming too fast and high or too slow and low but today it finally clicked using visual clues for my approach. Pure joy, it is all starting to come together - even getting the hang of trimming. I can also see why people believe X plane feels more 'real' compared to FSX, just need to sort out my ground textures as they are just colour at the moment and I can not tell the difference between 50' and 5' - makes landing fun. 6. For information if you have the Dash * listed in the thread headline from FlyJSim, they posted today that the .org is updating their customers 64 bit plugin now and FlyJSim will be emailing their own customers today or tomorrow for them to upgrade their 64 bit plugin latest release. See patience with the developers does bear fruit.

  8. The max crosswind limit is company dependant. Boeing don't give limits, they give guidelines. Demonstrated crosswind on the 733 is 35 kts Most company's therefore set their max limit of about 30 kts. It also depends on the runway and weather conditions, an unexperienced pilot can also have a lower limit. NOTE: One can land in higher windspeeds if the wind is a bit more on the nose. It's the wind component from the side (90 deg) that should not exceed 30 kts. In other words, one would probably not land in conditions like this in real. We show you this video to prove it is possible to land in such conditions in X-Plane if the aircraft is designed to handle it and the pilot is good. Note there is also gusts and turbulence in the video which the aircrafts also handles very well. This means you can fly with realweather on and still master most "normal" conditions with a bit of training. When doing the xwind performance testing I hunted for real low pressure systems on the weather maps, loaded up realweather in the sim and shoot approaches wherever the wind was - great fun

  9. Well.. as said, I received 2 more emails from this guy that menaced telling everyone in "all simulations forums" how bad is the product etc etc... I don't like the people that starts to flood emails or forums just because they are unsatisphiced with a product. Sent several emails complaining is not going to make a better reply from me. A simple email always has a reply.. and a solution after a time.. as it is demostrated the hydroulic issue is solved... but that was an issue that was not important to fly the plane. What I tried to say to this person is that he could continue flying with it don't waiting for the fix of it... but of course the fix would come. I think I had to say that last thing more clearly. Of course I didn't reply him after the 2 email menaces he made. It is not good to put in line what I said to him privatelly... but put all information. as said.. an smile do more than a menace.
