  2. Well, we'll see what happens. I just added the 757 to my personal list of "vaporware" and affirmed that in the shoutbox. I know the Saab release is imminent and I'm not here or anywhere else to question your work or the hours you've spent making the next big thing (and probably will be for quite a while) for X-Plane. Truly the Saab looks to be an amazing leap and I commend you. I have no malice in my heart for the Saab or anyone connected to it nor am I discounting the countless hours that have gone into it, but until it exists on more than a handful of hard drives, it's still vaporware to me.
  3. And there you have it. All you would have to do is read a bit of the threads about the Saab 340A and you would have known the answer before you posted the question.
  4. You're in the right place. There are numerous threads in this forum (and other forums on the interweb) with all kinds of help and recommendations. Seems like you've only stuck your toe in so far. You just need to wade on in and search the forums and pretty soon you'll be neck deep in X-Plane knowledge! By the way, a little Google goes a long way....and there's always the search box, too.
  5. If you've got the hard drive space I recommend installing all the scenery files. It gets messy having to install small portions of the world from time to time.
  6. Even if they stop including NDB's in the X-Plane navdata, you can always load up an older version of the file.
  7. Sweetness!! Now that I have a brand new MacBook Pro I can finally fly V10 so this is good news!
  8. If you want to keep track of the flight, here's a link to a blog: http://blog.aopa.org/blog/?p=5310
  9. LOVE the Beech 18!! Sweet old bird!
  10. You guys have apparently not noticed that he's flying V9.7 where, in fact, Gizmo still interferes with other aircraft and plugins. Or did you fix it and not tell anyone?
  11. I suppose Cameron could put "NOT 32 BIT COMPATIBLE" in huge caps across the top of the page. But even then, some people would still not get it.
  12. What blame are you referring to? Seriously? Pull your head out, man! It's obvious you just have some kind of ax to grind so you're spouting off here. A reply indicating the reason for the issue was given and no blame was placed or even implied that it was the original poster's fault. You're way out of line here, pal.
  13. Here's your proof. The only thing we should hear from PilotHudson is an apology. At least his friend had the balls to admit his part. Maybe it's a case of ignorance of the law or immaturity or indifference to the law, but in any case, piracy is a crime. Don't do it. On top of the crime, he was stupid enough to submit support tickets for products he didn't buy. This type of behavior hurts the whole community and has to stop! Case closed.
  14. Dude, you've totally missed the point! This is about piracy, plain and simple. That's why I got into the fray. Just happens that he claims he bought it at the org, but he didn't. Just happens it's a Carenado. If it were your MU-2 I think you would do the same diligence and I wouldn't have to. I only jumped in because Dan and Carenado don't have a voice here. I'm well aware why so you don't have to school me on it. If I were to see a similar post about your MU-2 or Goran's DC-3 on another forum, I would do the same thing there. Piracy is a crime and if we let it go, then what good are copyrights? Comes right out of the developers' pockets. The scenario with VMAX and Laminar you mention is a horse of a different color and irrelevant to this thread. That's a case of "he said, she said" yada yada and I don't have a dog in that fight. I'm talking about theft. I'm not trying to defend Carenado or Dan for the way he treated the kid. I'm exposing a thief. When copyright is breached I get mad. I live and die by copyright every day and when I see someone disrespecting copyright, it really chaps me. I'd think it would you, too. I admit I could be wrong in this case, but the evidence thus far leads me to the conclusions I've posted. It's up to the original poster to provide us with REAL documentation if he wants to clear his name.
  15. The thing about THAT screenshot is it doesn't show the account holder's name at all. That's why I asked for the "Your Account" page screenshot. The screenshot in the original post could anybody's.
  16. It's about exposing someone who claims to have made a purchase when in fact the purchase was made by a Facebook friend who then illegally shared the plane. At least that's what it's looking like. The trail is getting clearer. If that is the case, then he needs to be outed. It's not acceptable to make this kind of defamatory post. Let's see if Mr PilotHudson, Colin Hidson or Jesse Colella have anything more to say about this.
  17. Congrats to both you and Jim! To you for getting it published. To Jim for his work in creating a great aircraft and getting an Editor's Choice.
  18. PilotHudson, Go to your org store account and click on the "Your Account" button then take a screenshot of that page and post a screenshot of it. It should look something like this:
  19. Two questions: 1. Who is Darius Tate? 2. What name and what e-mail address are attached to the org account depicted in the screenshot in the original post?
  20. Impressive! But most definitely a dry read for this math-challenged guy!
