Goran_M Posted February 8, 2013 Author Report Posted February 8, 2013 The official word is...It is still in development and getting very close. We are working on it, literally, every single day since mid 2012.Recently, a few "issues" were noticed that we are fixing. 1
skiflyzander Posted February 8, 2013 Report Posted February 8, 2013 (edited) Are those default x-plane clouds? The aircraft is looking stunning! Edited February 8, 2013 by skiflyzander
Goran_M Posted February 8, 2013 Author Report Posted February 8, 2013 Thanks.Yes, clouds are default.
parsec Posted February 26, 2013 Report Posted February 26, 2013 Hello Goran, congratulations aircraft wonderful. I want to ask how many polygons (quads or tris) has the outside, and how many polygons hasthe inner part of the Saab 340? Thanks
Cameron Posted February 26, 2013 Report Posted February 26, 2013 congratulations aircraft wonderful. Thanks for the kind comments from the entire team! I want to ask how many polygons (quads or tris) has the outside, and how many polygons hasthe inner part of the Saab 340? Just enough to make it look good, and not enough to impact performance to a shameful level.
parsec Posted February 26, 2013 Report Posted February 26, 2013 Just enough to make it look good, and not enough to impact performance to a shameful level. Thank you, I understand the reason for this response that says everything and nothing Regards
cfrankling Posted March 8, 2013 Report Posted March 8, 2013 (edited) So March has just arrived and was wondering what is the status of the SAAB? Carlos Edited March 8, 2013 by Pirata
Goran_M Posted March 8, 2013 Author Report Posted March 8, 2013 All I can tell you is that it is closer to being finished. As Tom Kyler would say "We're 98% finished with 64% to go"We're all still plugging away at it, 7 days a week. We'll post more info as it comes to light. 2
eaglewing7 Posted March 9, 2013 Report Posted March 9, 2013 Whats the old saying... "...Absence makes the heart grow fonder..." 1
pryoski Posted March 27, 2013 Report Posted March 27, 2013 still plugging away at it, 7 days a week. Stop slackening off there Goran, we need that SAAB ... I think it's time to implement an 8 day week!?
Goran_M Posted March 27, 2013 Author Report Posted March 27, 2013 Stop slackening off there Goran, we need that SAAB ... I think it's time to implement an 8 day week!? No point. If we had an 8 day week, we'll just take the 8th day off. 1
pryoski Posted March 27, 2013 Report Posted March 27, 2013 Well ... at least you'd get a day off! hehe
Ben Russell Posted March 27, 2013 Report Posted March 27, 2013 My laptop is temporarily out of action. Should be resolved in a week. Two at the most. Then I can get back to gizmo work and removing road blocks so these guys can finish up. 2
pmorris Posted March 27, 2013 Report Posted March 27, 2013 Hmmmm.....the perils of a single point of failure!Phil
Ben Russell Posted March 28, 2013 Report Posted March 28, 2013 Better to remain silent and keep you all wondering I suppose. No data has been lost, just a minor irritation in the scheme of things.
pryoski Posted March 28, 2013 Report Posted March 28, 2013 (edited) No data has been lost, just a minor irritation in the scheme of things. Thank goodness for that Ben! It's sort of scary to think that your valuable contribution to the enrichment of X-Plane could be eradicated by a single whim of the universe if it decides your hdd should be no more. Not making any guesses about the state of your laptop ... just observing that any hard drive failure is often catastrophic and in my experience not that uncommon (from a lowly tech support perspective) ... here's hoping that you have backups ... and not to forget your good self, I hope that you stay safe and healthy until we have product resolution ... sounds heartless I know lol!
