  1. Maybe you were just there at the wrong time Seems quite a few CR7's fly there now!
  2. Thanks for the quick reply, John! The default will do for now
  3. John, Question about high level cirrus clouds: Is there any chance to include more than just 3 sets of textures for those high level clouds? It's almost kind of... trying to phrase this nicely here.... boring(?) after a few flights seeing the same high level clouds. Maybe there is some way to include more textures and to also make them more random? Don't get me wrong, I love this product and it's a huge improvement! I'm just trying to include some constructive criticism. Metars do include info about these types of clouds, correct? Thanks, John!
  4. Hi Glass I actually started fiddling around with settings and plugins and got this to install! Thanks for your reply though. The results are pretty good.
  5. I seem to be having problems getting this to load weather. There is no indication inside x-plane if it is working or not. I had the NOAA plugin installed but removed it to try and get this to work. I've also tried messing with other plug ins but no combination seems to work. Is there a specific directory inside x-plane the plug-in needs to be directed towards? Default x-plane folder? Plug-in folder? Thanks!
  6. John, Any chance we can see some stormy looking screenshots? Flew through some awesome patchy storms in the New Hampshire area yesterday in a 402c (not in the sim) and the view was breathtaking. Quite a cool flight. I'm curious how the new textures represent patchy storms!
  7. Yup... that did it. Woooops. Thanks guys!
  8. Hey Guys, Just tried to fly with the newest osm from simheaven and got a missing facade error that caused a crash. Any ideas how to fix it? Log is included... (OSM Germany and Austria are causing the crashes) Log.txt
  9. John, I know this is a weird place to ask this... but what are the possibilities of these clouds making it into Prepar3d v2? Especially with the screenshot you just showed... I think they would be a huge hit! But of course the main development should be x-plane
  10. Just signed up for my first flight
  11. Not trying to say one sim is better than the other here... just to be clear. But why is FSX able to render good looking textures as far as the eye can see? FSX is only 32 bit... I'm just curious.
  12. This project has really come a long way. I downloaded the latest files for Austria from simheaven and along with skymaxx and a freeware lowi on the org, this is what I got: Keep up the great work guys, you're honestly bringing this sim to a whole new level.
  13. The results with world2xplane, terra haze and great photoscenery really bring this simulator to the next level. Very nice video.
  14. Peter, great great work. Any chance we could see LJLJ (Ljubljana) done by Aerobridge
  15. Looks fantastic, what weather engine are you using? Default?
  16. You're gonna want something more powerful than that, trust me. At least, AT LEAST, 2gb of VRAM and a 7xxm series video card... that will get you by, but you'll really want a strong processor. I've got a 4900mq and that does alright. It's not the strongest but for a notebook it does alright. I would recommend it. Finding a notebook that will run XPX at high settings is not gonna be a cheap machine, but believe me, you'll be happy you spent the money on it!
  17. So I did a test with the osm NH file from geofabrik. The objects looked pretty good and most of what I had tagged was in place... Except for parking lots and trees. There were zero trees throughout NH except for what I had tagged. Is it possible to configure world2xp to remove trees from areas tagged with buildings, parking lots, water and roads? Because right now NH has zero trees other than what myself and others added.
  18. Currently the problem I'm having is actually opening the file. It only shows a .tar file and no .exe file inside the downloaded and unzipped file. I downloaded it off of your site which directs me to a dropbox file. Edit... my bad, there was one final part to unzip. All clear. go ahead and delete this post if you'd like...
  19. WOW WOW WOW. This is incredible. Props to you sir, this will be great!! Just took off from Zurich and I have to say I am extremely impressed. It's kind of motivating me to get back on the KLEB project. I've already started editing OSM like a mad man around the West Lebanon, NH area. I do have a question for you. If we don't draw in forests in Openstreetmap, are they automatically filled in? I guess the easier question would be... what happens if we don't tag anything in Open street map? What happens with the areas that are not tagged? There's lots of forest to fill in around NH
  20. Holy wah. That is unreal. If we can expect the same results throughout Europe, we've got a really special tool on our hands. Time for me to get to work on my home town osm data keep up the great work! Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
