MaidenFan Posted December 31, 2010 Report Posted December 31, 2010 Look at this link below. It makes me wonder if the org even thinks X-Plane is a sim anymore. I laughed my butt off when I say this.http://store01.prostores.com/servlet/x-planestore/Detail?no=261
MaidenFan Posted December 31, 2010 Author Report Posted December 31, 2010 ???I know, right. That's how I feel. The worse part is that it actually costs money.
Kesomir Posted December 31, 2010 Report Posted December 31, 2010 It makes the search for REX more entertaining.
Dozer Posted December 31, 2010 Report Posted December 31, 2010 It made me laugh! And where else could such a thing be sold? To be honest, X-Plane is probably the most accessible platform for building an accurate T-Rex simulation! ;) :DHowever I don't want dinosaur simulations - I want circuit breakers. So I'll just lurk here instead.
Simmo W Posted January 1, 2011 Report Posted January 1, 2011 Great one Rush. All I ask is...WHY, oh why? It can't take off. It can't eat anything. But if u could replace the deer with this , it would look interesting
Kaphias Posted January 1, 2011 Report Posted January 1, 2011 But if u could replace the deer with this , it would look interestingThat alone might make it worth the $5. ;D
Ben Russell Posted January 1, 2011 Report Posted January 1, 2011 ...If I can just get to the power hangar at the far end of the field...
Goran_M Posted January 1, 2011 Report Posted January 1, 2011 But does it have custom sounds and plug ins?If not, I'm not interested.I noticed it doesn't have a feature list.
Simmo W Posted January 1, 2011 Report Posted January 1, 2011 ;) Now We're onto something! Austin's mentioned AI traffic, but not what species
Lukasz Posted January 1, 2011 Report Posted January 1, 2011 Search for "Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis", it's a kind of tycoon game where you get the island and have to make an enjoyable and profitable park there. Also there are a couple of "special missions" The game is rather simple, but highly entertaining and full of Jurassic Park magic, that was so much present in the first movie. A good thing if you want a casual fun, apart from "serious flying" or gaming.
kiofka Posted January 1, 2011 Report Posted January 1, 2011 If it doesn't have animated doors and windows, I'm not buying it...
UH-60 Blackhawk Posted January 3, 2011 Report Posted January 3, 2011 Heck, I need a bite feature before I even check my wallet for $5.
steven winslow Posted January 3, 2011 Report Posted January 3, 2011 Think about it......it may not have a "bite feature," but in my opinion, it definitely BITES!
Nik Posted January 5, 2011 Report Posted January 5, 2011 uhm.. may i replace the default deers with it??
Jack Skieczius Posted January 7, 2011 Report Posted January 7, 2011 everyone go and thumb down the youtube video. This is rather disturbing.
Jack Skieczius Posted January 7, 2011 Report Posted January 7, 2011 oh, and a quick search for a t rex model on google i found this.http://www.3dvia.com/models/A260C598AABC8EA0/so, who is the guy who made this for x-plane, cause if it is not Issac Miller, then there may be a copyright issue there.I hate when i sniff out possible model steallage!
steven winslow Posted January 7, 2011 Report Posted January 7, 2011 I smell a witch hunt on the horizon........

Ben Russell Posted January 8, 2011 Report Posted January 8, 2011 Someones going to have to shell out for a copy and see if the appropriate Copyright attributions have been made.Doesn't look good on the surface, but if there's an attributions file in the download, well.... that seems to meet the Creative Commons license requirement.x-objectware is registered to a guy based in Hong Kong.Call me biased, but I don't hold much hope for licensing integrity based on that fact alone.(I don't really care for being PC when it comes at the cost of lieing about reality.)
AADX Posted January 8, 2011 Report Posted January 8, 2011 a couple emails, one to each of the relevant people, would do more than leaping to assumptions either way.
