  1. Looks like a GL driver error. Lots of weird texture problems.... textures that are loaded by X-Plane.
  2. A complete copy of Log.txt is preferable to extracts as it lets me build a profile of other "stuff" that may cause conflicts. Do you have other plugins running? Are you able to provide a complete Log.txt? The error shown looks audio related and I'm curious... but I need more data to make any progress or advice.
  3. Thanks for taking the time to post this. Given the thousands of possible hardware configs and options settings you can imagine how time intensive it would be for me to try and figure something like this out. I have little choice but to sit back and wait for the dust to settle, the patterns that emerge show us the true scale of any problems. Thanks again for the info. I'll be sure to pass it on to our users as needed.
  4. have you tried removing this? Ground Handling Plugin by JARDesign v.220116 for X-Plane 10
  5. Correct. This is a very out of date plugin from some time in early 2011..
  6. Thanks for the info.
  7. Due to ancient code that lacks url-encoding in the sim activator various passwords are not usable. This sucks and is being changed. The new DRM is taking shape. In the meantime, head over here, change your password to something autogen withouth special chars in it and it should start working; https://www.x-aviation.com/catalog/password_forgotten.php Yes this sucks. I'm sorry. My password code from years past is crap. Thanks for your patience.
  8. Thank you for the report. The IXEG product does a -lot- of it's own custom OpenGL work for all the avionics systems as well as effects. Mixing this with another plugin that also does it's own custom OpenGL can sometimes push the driver stack beyonds its limits. I have some ideas for Gizmo debug tools that might help us track this stuff down.. as well as the usual progress and bug fixes. So far this issue seems rare-to-moderate... there are definitely glitches for some users when they're mixed together. Your patience and neutrality is very much appreciated.
  9. Thanks for the additional info. From the data in GizmoLog.txt it looks like the IXEG systems scripts fail almost as soon as they try to load. Unfortunately they don't tell me why.. I'm not sure what to offer other than; "Please wait for the 1.1 update which while not officially for XP11 contains at least some small fixes to make XP11 use smoother." Thanks again for investigating this further. It's very much appreciated when you take your time to help provide as much detailed info as you can to improve our products.
  10. Hi Greg. It sounds like one of our plugins isn't running. Can you try installing this? https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/download/details.aspx?id=48145 If that still doesn't help we'll need to see some Log files to determine what's going on. These can be found in the X-Plane folder and are called Log.txt and GizmoLog.txt You can either attach these to a forum reply or email them direct to br@x-plugins.com Let me know how it goes.... and thanks for your support.
  11. The download link expiry is a "feature" of the store software Cameron uses. It is not coupled to the DRM systems. It's just a crude date based system. I'm currently working on a refresh of the activation systems so hopefully we can at least un-log-jam that. The aim is a self managed system somewhat like iTunes movie content.
  12. Your log shows a lot of stuff installed... The stand-out items for me are: 1. XSquawkbox - This never really seemed the same after it's port to 64 bit. I have seen many bugs related to this and am unsure of it's current status with regards to updates / maintainers etc. 2. xEnviro - This plugin is new to the market. For that reason I simply do not have enough user feedback data to know if we have serious issues with it. Seeing it clash with the Saab is certainly new. There are some known glitches with the 737. Have you done testing without these two items? Have you done testing with a basic demo copy without custom scenery? "I've been unable to track it down after hours and hours of removing plugins and reinstallations." doesn't give me much detail to go on.. A clean start with minimal products installed is what we're going to need to track it down further. The logs provided indicate that you still have a fully customised sim install.
  13. Sorry to hear you're having a hard freeze failure. I've read through your logs and data in the Process.docx file indicates that you're experiencing some kind of OpenGL failure. I suggest disabling the IXEG graphical special effects (like contrails) wherever possible and see if that helps. I also noticed that you have XSquawkbox in your log files. This has been a fairly troublesome plugin in the past and would definitely be a suspect had you not stated that you've already tried it without any additional addons. I would complete any further testing without XSB installed just to be sure.
  14. I'm unable to look into the help desk ticketing system or customer data. I can only address the technical side of how and why. I will have to wait for Cameron to reach your ticket in the queue before I can offer any further advice. He will be able to provide me with more informationa bout your activation history, how many machine-id's you've used. etc. Sorry for the delay.
  15. Hi Gautam. Sorry to hear that you're having this issue. There have been a few issues causing this lately that I'm aware of. 1. Microsoft Win10 Anniversary Update. This changed the system fingerprint valuest that I use to generate our machine-id data. 2. macOS Sierra. This was also a fairly signifincant change and "should" only result in a machine-id change for people that are using a hackintosh. When you are using our activation dialog you will notice that it has a text input field that has "machine id" data in it. This data is also written to the Log.txt or GizmoLog.txt files. IF and only if this value changes, will you use a license slot. With this knowledge it is possible to "update to a new gizmo" and see if the machine ID data changed. It should not. But as stated above, sometimes OS level upgrades occur and sometimes we add "better" support for what customers want to do. If you continue to see these issues please post again. These DRM/activation systems are being actively upgraded at the moment. I hope to ship updates soon that will allow much better self management.

  17. go to x-a, change your password. The code that handles that is... embarassingly old. Changing your password to something autogen by the system will probably let the in-sim activator recognise it properly.
  18. I only wish to see a user given a direct and meaningful solution to their answer. People want to get on with stuff "now". In the history of X-Plane I have seen many products come and go where a port is "coming soon". Announcing progress on a mac port would've been a productive thing. Announcing the potential of a mac port is ... well, to be blunt, meaningless noise. Any software can potentially be ported to any platform. Most isn't. So on that note, while it's sad to hear, thank you for clarifying your plans for the future of your software. Multi-platform support takes a lot more work than just syncing the files and running a compiler. Sorry that we got off to a bad start. Hatchet buried. (2016 sucked. Let's try and build a better 2017.)
  19. You're advertising commercial vapourware for your own gain based on the reputation of our product. That puts you on extremely thin ice in my book.
  20. Until it actuall IS mac compatible you're being a spammer and wasting peoples time.
  21. We provide multiple hardware activations for your own personal use. Some people choose to abuse the system and "cost share" with friends. This is against the TOS. You got caught. Deal with it. ( I don't know or care about the individual details of your case. This happens far too often. The details don't even matter. The stories are always the same. )
  22. ...and we're inside X-Plane sharing what little options there are with everything else.
  23. Use something else to hardware stress test your machine.
  24. The saitek plugin is known to cause issues.
  25. ...and people have families. Welcome to my block list.
