  1. If you install the stable version of Gizmo it should work ok. I'm not sure of the best way to "change over" though. You might be able to re-run the 737 installer and switch to the stable Gizmo with minimal fuss. The installer setup and creation is handled by Cameron @ X-A and I haven't run the current set at all so I'm not familiar with the options available to you. Sorry.
  2. This is a bug in the current beta release in Gizmo. I'm currently working through it.
  3. Activate your product license. Move the mouse to the right hand edge, click the key. Look for an update button if you already have other products. Fill in the login form if you don't.
  4. It's ok, we recycle 100% of the electrons used to run the site.
  5. Probably Optimal, as in battery/power saving.
  6. Display Power Management can sometimes affect a (stupid) dynamic brightness mode where the display will adaptively set the brightness level depending on overall screen content. X-Pilot, for example, would lead to the display brightness ramping up. Darker content leads to it ramping down. It's subtle and, in my opinion, annoying.
  7. Glad to hear you got things working. Thanks for the breadcrumb hint... Gizmo tool buttons: If you find the gizmo prefs window there's an option to disable the tooltray. You can turn it back on using XP Menu > Plugins > Gizmo64 > Windows > Prefs Don't know anything about the 750, sorry.
  8. Your post provides no details about exactly which piece of software is causing you problems.. X-Plane requires an online connection every two weeks. Gizmo64's DRM also requires an online connection every two weeks. If you want better help than that, provide more information.
  9. X-A hosts it's download files on Amazon CloudFront.. not a lot more we can do about it. https://aws.amazon.com/cloudfront/
  10. Hi Dave. This issue ocassionally pops up. Unfortunately, because it's password related, I can't just ask people "what's your password" and discover exactly which special characters are common to making this bug appear. What I can do is direct you to the X-Aviation password change page: https://www.x-aviation.com/catalog/password_forgotten.php I suggest you choose/generate something with less "special chars" in it that are likely to result in some kind of weird encoding error when they're on the way to the server. Gizmo already uses 3rd party functions to encode the passwords before sending them to the server, but as I said, sometimes it bugs out. Thanks, Ben.
  11. If only we had some kind of electronci mail system with a universal address scheme.
  12. Probably mirrored cowling doors for simplicity of manufacture and parts supply. If the door is outboard it's rivets, if it's inboard it gets the VG mounted.

  14. No problem with this. It will only use one machine id.
  15. These messages are from the Lua sub-system which is limited to around 2gb of shared memory between all Lua plugins you have intalled. (SASL, FWL, etc.) The new beta version of Gizmo includes better debug data for diagnosing how much of this pool is in use by Gizmo and "all other" plugins using this shared pool. Sadly, there is no standardised way to determine exactly how much each of the plugins is using out of the shared pool.
  16. Try deleting: X-Plane / output / preferences / gizmo_prefs.txt

  19. Also... Updates will sort it out. It may take a little while but it shouldn't be too long. The updates may come from: - Laminar Research, as an X-Plane update. - AMD, as a GPU drivers update. - Hot Start, as a product patch. It is likely that it will need to be either LR or AMD that produce the update to bring your product to full Vulkan compatability. The timelines of both those companies is out of the hands of Hot Start.
  20. Just attach both Log.txt and TBM900_Log.txt ... it makes life a tiny bit easier.
  21. Complete Log.txt files are more useful than butchered versions.
  22. +1 Scheduled viewing times belong in the 1990s.
  23. It's been nearly 2.5 years since XP 11 was released. https://www.x-plane.com/2017/12/x-plane-11-10-official-release-available/
  24. Thanks for that. Please try this beta version of Gizmo.... It may still crash, but if it does it will leave more info in the Log.txt to help me track this problem down. (Gizmo is the plugin that powers the scripts that make the IXEG product run...) Thanks.
