  1. We can't replicate this on our side, which model SR22 is this happening with? Can you send a video?
  2. That CPU should definitely be sufficient, but isn't just an isolated single variable. Performance depends on lots of variables, including: X-Plane graphics settings Scenery and other plugins in-use Other software running on the computer If the CPU is saturated and the physics thread is blocked from running at full rate, the engine will stutter.
  3. X-Aviation Installer-Based Integrations: These integrations will be installed automatically by the main G500 installer if you already own these X-Aviation products. If you purchase these products after installing the G500, just re-run the G500 installer to get the G500 version of these aircraft! Default X-Plane Cessna 172SP (Included with G500) TorqueSim BN-2B Islander TorqueSim BN-2T Turbine Islander TOGA Simulations MU-2 Marquise v2 Community Integrations: Follow the link for download and installation details. Use the G500 installer located in the X-Plane main directory to install to the aircraft after downloading. We will then save that location and automatically update these further installations when you run the main installer for future updates. Carenado PC-12 by Ither Beechcraft Baron B58 "Ultimate Mod" by moossaa3 Attached below is the G500 Integration Guide. If you are interested in integrating the G500 into an aircraft, feel free to email me (cooper@realsimgear.com) and I can provide X-Plane object/texture files of the G500. 4. They are hidden when in an inside view to prevent accidental clicking from inside the cockpit. Switching to an external view should let them be clickable
  5. Our plugin doesn't do anything with the flight controls - that's all native X-Plane. There shouldn't be any way for the control surfaces to get pushed beyond the limits with properly interfaced hardware. I haven't seen this issue before, but I've seen some issues with the Noble Yoke regarding sensitivity and control positioning. Perhaps the yoke is sending X-Plane improper calibration data. I'd recommend recalibrating the Noble Yoke, and if that doesn't fix it, contact their support.
  6. Regarding licensing, no the system requires internet activation every two weeks. Connecting via a phone hotspot should suffice to refresh for two weeks. It doesn't need to be a persistent internet connection, once the license file is updated. Regarding screen settings, nothing is deleted between loads, we don't support non-RealSimGear hardware for monitors, but with some fiddling you might be able to get the screens to stick. Attached is the integration guide with details, see pages 8/9/10 for the popups.cfg documentation. RealSimGear G500 Integration Guide.pdf
  7. Navigation data uses a different format than what Jeppesen directly provides, we poll our data from the X-Plane main database which can be updated using either Navigraph or Aerosoft navdata (which is much cheaper than the Jeppesen direct stuff). That will update navaids, FIXs, etc. The default Garmin 430s will also use this update for procedures and enroute navigation. If you are using the RealityXP GTNs/GNSs, since these use the Garmin trainer, you can update these using the Jepp DBs, but we aren't able to provide guidance on that procedure.
  8. Hi JKru, There aren't any tutorials to my knowledge on the subject. To find all the datarefs and commands, all of our datarefs in the SR2X start with afm/sr/ and all our commands start with afm/sr/cmd. For datarefs, entering afm/sr in the search field should show the whole list using DataRefEditor (or DataRefTool if in DataRefEditor compatibility mode). For commands, they can be browsed through the X-Plane command dialog (for keyboard or joystick) when the SR22 is loaded. They can be found under afm->sr->cmd then the various subcategories below. A description of the command will show there, and if you hover over the description, the full command will show.
  9. Yes, it has been pushed to the store and should release shortly.
  10. Hi JAS, fixed in the next update which we have sent to the store.
  11. Looking through the log file provided, the error seems to be X-Plane failing to load aircraft resources, either the crash in the installer, or the computer just can't handle the aircraft. The computer being used seems dramatically under minimum specifications, it looks like a 2009 AMD CPU which could be the problem. Also, the log is reporting Windows 7 is being used, which is not supported by us. Windows 10 certainly is, I'm not sure what you are referring to with "most of the files have references to Apple" - we support both Windows and MacOS. For integration, yes integration in the form of a popup window is already possible. Popup windows can be toggled when the G500 is loaded from the plugins menu bar -> G500. Integration into the 3D panel is more difficult, and typically requires access to the source objects from Carenado in that case. Attached is the integration guide pdf with the details. RealSimGear G500 Integration Guide.pdf
  12. In the aircraft where you have installed the g5, after loading in X-Plane a file called g5.cfg will show in that aircraft's directory. With the sim closed, set the line g5_mbbarounit = 1
  13. In the X-Plane 11 menu bar, under Plugins -> RSG G5, there are options to popup the G5s.
  14. There is a lot of range within the Intel MacBook Pro 15/16" line. The 5300M is significantly below the 5500M in terms of performance, so I'm guessing that is being maxed out, while the CPU is being loaded pretty heavily as well. I'd recommend making sure all other applications besides X-Plane are closed when trying to run.
  15. I've attached an updated G5.cfg file for V2.0 of the M20. g5.cfg
  16. There is a flood light switch on the left sidewall
  17. Make sure the "AP Power" switch is turned on, on the panel (Ovation 3/Acclaim) and the "Elev Trim" switch is turned on (Ovation 2)
  18. Hi Mark, I don't think that would work either - we aren't not using the default switch just because, but we are overriding default X-Plane behavior to make sure the default avionics work as expected with the customizations we apply. Messing with that switch probably wouldn't work, but could also lead to the X-Plane avionics getting out of sync from the customizations.
  19. Hi Paul, The radio noises all come from X-Plane itself, I'd recommend making sure that the radio volume is turned up, both the knob on the audio panel and the X-Plane "radios" slider.
  20. Hi Mark, The avionics switch isn’t set using that due to how the custom SR22 electrical system works to control the default X-Plane G1000 base, so it does not match the SR22’s avionic switch state. If those avionics panels can’t read a custom dataref, there unfortunately isn’t anything we can do about that. We do have custom datarefs available that it could read if it was able.
  21. In order to debug what is going on, we will need you to send us a copy of the X-Plane log.txt file. You can find a guide to get this file here: How to find the X-Plane log.txt file?
  22. It looks like the line you would need to replace in the file I sent is with line 71 on this (to line 33 of what I sent). Then delete the bundled file. The other option, would be to use the RealityXP settings menu, and check: Link HSI Link Autopilot Link Sim GPS Auto Nav/GPS Auto CDI Source
  23. The BN-2T G500 will be installed by the main G500 install (The direct download one from X-Aviation, not the per-aircraft installer). Just download and re-run the G500 installer and it will grab the BN-2T G500 for you.
  24. Hm, I'm not sure what GTN configs are in the PC12 mod, there are some base RealityXP settings that need to be set for the data to transfer over from the RealityXP GTNs to the G500. I've attached the GTN settings default file that we use in our Islander. The only thing I imagine different in the PC12 would be the screen coordinates (line 33 of this file for the primary GTN). RealityXP.GTN.defaults.ini
  25. Not really - this is the only report of its kind. I'm guessing something is messing with the volumes in X-Plane for some reason, or an issue with the audio driver/sound setup. I'd recommend temporarily removing all other 3rd party plugins (besides Gizmo64, as that is required) to see if that changes anything. Do any of the X-Plane audio sliders move around in the sim from where you initially set them? (Take a look when sounds are playing, then another when sounds aren't)
