Hi, I just loaded up to double check, and I can't replicate that behavior on my end. Are you using the G5 in the 3D cockpit of an aircraft (if so, which one) or are you using the popups? Are you using clicking or the scroll wheel to a adjust the knob?

The maintenance would be performed automatically with the inspection, if it finds anything. In this case, there was nothing found during the inspection (no Engine or System entries), so nothing was needed to be performed.

This switch, when turned on, disables the custom load manager and reverts weight & balance, and fuel settings to the X-Plane system.

Hi, It looks like the Gizmo64 plugin isn't running, which is necessary for activation. Re-run the installer and that should install Gizmo and prompt for your X-Aviation credentials.

Aircraft sounds fade away and X-Plane crashes
Coop replied to jscott008's topic in Entegra SR22 Series
Sorry, I confused with our G1000 version. 1.0.3 is the latest build of the Entegra. There is no update pending for the Entegras currently. -
It looks like the SR20 isn't being activated because the Gizmo64 plugin isn't in the X-Plane 11/resources/plugins directory. I'm guessing this might have been inadvertently removed? Re-running the installer will grab the latest version of Gizmo to install for you.

Most likely the engine is either: Being flooded - make sure to use 3 seconds of boost maximum Not primed - make sure to run the boost pump for ~2 seconds. Not enough/too much throttle - make sure the throttle is set to 1/4" in-sim when starting, as that is around where the proper ratios are reached for starting. Feel free to slowly oscillate the throttle up and down slightly to see if it would catch. The 1/4" mark could be at a different spot on your hardware throttle if it doesn't have the same throw as the real throttle.

In order to debug what is going on, we will need you to send us a copy of the X-Plane log.txt file. You can find a guide to get this file here: How to find the X-Plane log.txt file?

The default navdata that ships with X-Plane is a few years out of date. Updated navdata can be purchased (for one cycle) or subscribed (for monthly updates) to get updated databases. Providers of this data would be Navigraph and Aerosoft. The G1000 uses the standard X-Plane database format.

Can you send the video with the exterior view?

The latest SR20/22s use the 2D-panel system for auto-popups of the G1000, you can see the details on that here: http://help.realsimgear.com/en/articles/4011455-setup-for-realsimgear-cirrus-perspective-hardware-and-torquesim-sr22-sr20

Hi Mike, This is on our list to look into.
-
You can try deleting NA_Record.txt and NA_State.txt to reset the aircraft.

Which GPU is installed for pictures 1, 2, and 3 in your last post? The engine model, assuming the engine isn't damaged (you can try performing maintenance via the SR22 Maintenance tab), as it only approaches near clouds, this signifies significant performance anomalies with the machine. Based on the screenshot sent, it does seem that the machine is GPU limited. Based on both GPU options, even the 1070 should be sufficient. If you can, send over a log.txt file from the sim from when it is doing the stuttering and that should help give a better picture on what is going on.

Under advanced settings, make sure "Auto-Update Simulator GPS Waypoints" is set on.

Carenado PA31 Navajo And Chieftain Crash With RSG G500 1.0.2
Coop replied to TallTanBarbie's topic in G500 Avionics Suite
The RSG G500 should not be installed into X-Plane 11/resources/plugins, it should be installed on a per-aircraft basis using the G500 installer app located in the main X-Plane 11 directory (G500 Aircraft installer). Manually remove the G500 from X-Plane 11/resources/plugins. If it isn't working after installing into the per-aircraft directory, send a screenshot of the blank popup as well as a log.txt file. -
Take Command: SR22 G1000 Series v1.2.2 Update Released!
Coop replied to Cameron's topic in G1000 SR22 Series
I haven't seen that behavior, my guess is it might correlate with the prior issue? -
We can't replicate this on our side, which model SR22 is this happening with? Can you send a video?
-
That CPU should definitely be sufficient, but isn't just an isolated single variable. Performance depends on lots of variables, including: X-Plane graphics settings Scenery and other plugins in-use Other software running on the computer If the CPU is saturated and the physics thread is blocked from running at full rate, the engine will stutter.

X-Aviation Installer-Based Integrations: These integrations will be installed automatically by the main G500 installer if you already own these X-Aviation products. If you purchase these products after installing the G500, just re-run the G500 installer to get the G500 version of these aircraft! Default X-Plane Cessna 172SP (Included with G500) TorqueSim BN-2B Islander TorqueSim BN-2T Turbine Islander TOGA Simulations MU-2 Marquise v2 Community Integrations: Follow the link for download and installation details. Use the G500 installer located in the X-Plane main directory to install to the aircraft after downloading. We will then save that location and automatically update these further installations when you run the main installer for future updates. Carenado PC-12 by Ither Beechcraft Baron B58 "Ultimate Mod" by moossaa3 Attached below is the G500 Integration Guide. If you are interested in integrating the G500 into an aircraft, feel free to email me (cooper@realsimgear.com) and I can provide X-Plane object/texture files of the G500. They are hidden when in an inside view to prevent accidental clicking from inside the cockpit. Switching to an external view should let them be clickable

Take Command: SR22 G1000 Series v1.2.2 Update Released!
Coop replied to Cameron's topic in G1000 SR22 Series
Our plugin doesn't do anything with the flight controls - that's all native X-Plane. There shouldn't be any way for the control surfaces to get pushed beyond the limits with properly interfaced hardware. I haven't seen this issue before, but I've seen some issues with the Noble Yoke regarding sensitivity and control positioning. Perhaps the yoke is sending X-Plane improper calibration data. I'd recommend recalibrating the Noble Yoke, and if that doesn't fix it, contact their support. -
RealSimGear G500 Avionics Suite v1.0.2 Update Released!
Coop replied to Cameron's topic in G500 Avionics Suite
Regarding licensing, no the system requires internet activation every two weeks. Connecting via a phone hotspot should suffice to refresh for two weeks. It doesn't need to be a persistent internet connection, once the license file is updated. Regarding screen settings, nothing is deleted between loads, we don't support non-RealSimGear hardware for monitors, but with some fiddling you might be able to get the screens to stick. Attached is the integration guide with details, see pages 8/9/10 for the popups.cfg documentation. RealSimGear G500 Integration Guide.pdf -
Saitek/Logitech Panels remapping getting started
Coop replied to JKru's topic in Entegra SR22 Series
Navigation data uses a different format than what Jeppesen directly provides, we poll our data from the X-Plane main database which can be updated using either Navigraph or Aerosoft navdata (which is much cheaper than the Jeppesen direct stuff). That will update navaids, FIXs, etc. The default Garmin 430s will also use this update for procedures and enroute navigation. If you are using the RealityXP GTNs/GNSs, since these use the Garmin trainer, you can update these using the Jepp DBs, but we aren't able to provide guidance on that procedure. -
Saitek/Logitech Panels remapping getting started
Coop replied to JKru's topic in Entegra SR22 Series
Hi JKru, There aren't any tutorials to my knowledge on the subject. To find all the datarefs and commands, all of our datarefs in the SR2X start with afm/sr/ and all our commands start with afm/sr/cmd. For datarefs, entering afm/sr in the search field should show the whole list using DataRefEditor (or DataRefTool if in DataRefEditor compatibility mode). For commands, they can be browsed through the X-Plane command dialog (for keyboard or joystick) when the SR22 is loaded. They can be found under afm->sr->cmd then the various subcategories below. A description of the command will show there, and if you hover over the description, the full command will show.
